Scott assisted us in setting up some technology features and even 4 weeks later assisted again when we were unclear on some functions. I originally went to this Ford dealership to look at a used F150 that was for sale, but I stumbled upon a used GMC pickup that was also on the lot. Calvin, the salesman, took the time to show me the vehic used F150 that was for sale, but I stumbled upon a used GMC pickup that was also on the lot. Calvin, the salesman, took the time to show me the vehicle, even though he was more familiar with the Ford products, and I ended up coming back a few days later, and we were able to make a deal. All the people that I dealt with there, were friendly, and I felt no pressure at all the entire time I was there. I will definitely go back again, and recommend them to others! One last thing - I got a better deal on a General Motors used pickup at a Ford dealership, than I was offered on a similar equipped Chevy pickup at a nearby Chevy dealer! More
we bought ford edge december 2010. bought additional tire and wheel coverage. because the new car had 22" wheels. we were sold the extra coverage under false pretense that any damage at all to tire and wheel and wheel coverage. because the new car had 22" wheels. we were sold the extra coverage under false pretense that any damage at all to tire and wheel would be covered. march 2011 i scraped wheel and tire avoiding an accident. contacted dealer multiple times with no results. finally i was informed the dealer filed the paperwork incorrectly with the insurance company.i was told to wait 14 days call insurance co back, i did this and was then instructed by insurance company i have to go through the dealer. weeks of no response from the dealer and i was dealing with the manager at this point.in the interim i also learned the dealer filed the papers incorrectly with the financing bank also. finally get an appointment with the dealer to see the tire and wheel and we were met at the door by the owner john gilboy. he apologized for how we were treated and told us that he would eat the expense of the tire and wheel out of his own pocket because it is not covered. we ordered both tire and wheel. later that day which is now mid april john gilboy calls to say it is n back order and will not be in until mid may. may comes and goes and no communication and or returned phone calls from the dealer. we get fed up with them and trade our edge at a different dealer. come to find out we are due a refund on our tire wheel and gap insurance and our extended warranty we purchased. more run around from gilboy. so i phone insurance place and have a copy of tire and wheel policy and gap policy mailed directly to us. imagine to my surprise upon opening the copy of the tire and wheel contract i see they FORGED MY SIGNATURE!! i then phone john gilboy and continue to get a run around about the refunds due to us and he also tells me his manager jack told him i came in on a different day and signed the contract!as if i do not know my own signature. i then proceed to whitehall police station and file forgery charges against gilboy. so here we are in july and for some unknown reason we are still battling for money that is rightfully due to us! do not go to gilboy. they are incompetent unreliable they lie and consistently choose NOT to do the right thing. I originally took my VW EOS to Gilboy's in Allentown because they gave me the lowest cost on having a second key programed for it. Which impressed me. So I called, after waiting several weeks for a recall part that was ordered they called me back and scheduled a date for repair. I also told them at this time that the fuel door wasn't opening properly and the check engine light was on. I even wrote them a note to remind them of this. When i went to pick it up i was told that they ordered the wrong recall part, huh?, and that they fixed the check engine light issue, really?, because it came back on the next day i drove it, and get this, I would have the leave my fuel door cracked open to get my fingers behind it to open it, OMG. In their defense it was scheduled for a recall repair only but since they didn't have the right part to put on i thought they could take care of the other issues while it was there. Or at least say lets reschedule this later. Basically my car was there all day since I dropped it off the night prior and nothing happened to it. No recall part, no service, fuel door still broke, oh and the check engine light was on since no one ever preformed the 20,000 service I found out later from Young VW (which was covered for free and not even mentioned at Gilboy VW). Who by the way ordered the right part in less than a week, and fixed my gas cap all under warranty my final cost ZERO DOLLARS. Guys sorry but you really need to step it up a notch here. I also admit that I was not able to pick up my vehicle until almost closing time which added to the rush to get me out the door feeling i got from the service guys there. More

Starting with the initial test drive the atmosphere was wonderful, there was no pressure and the staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. Every detail and feature of the vehicle was explained in depth. The finance department did a great job offering the best financing options available without feeling pressured or rushed. The service department was clean and well organized and the services offered are wonderful. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. More

We found the car with all the options we wanted, we got a very fair price, they took off all the rebates we presented and gave us what a dealership. My husband & I visited 3 Ford dealer ships in 1 day looking for a new or used F-150 truck. The first location was having issues with the computers and did not seem like they really wanted to be bother looking for a new or used F-150 truck. The second location, we stood in the parking lot for about 20 minutes and no one came to talk with us so we left. The last one, Gilboy Ford, the salesman came out to the lot shorty after we arrived. Chatted with us about what we were looking for, then gave us some options before we actually even looked at a truck. Then we were off looking at trucks. He only took us to a couple trucks but they seemed to be exactly what we wanted. Once we went into the showroom the salesman offered us drinks, which was very much appreciated since it was extremely hot outside. We then sat down and chatted about our trade in, and the trucks (new & used) we looked at. At no time did we ever feel pressured or rushed to make any decision. Even though we had a lot of questions and it was getting close to closing time, no one seemed to mind staying late to answer our concerns and questions. We ended up leaving because we were not sure what we wanted to do. The next morning, our salesman called us to answer any additional questions we may have come up with over night and at that time we decided to go with the new truck. Our main concern was pricing. We wanted something nice and reliable and they jumped through hoops to find us rebates, gave us a good deal on our trade in and looked for other options to get the truck within our price range. We headed to the dealership and spent the next several hours with our salesman going over paperwork, questions and then the most important thing, how to use all the buttons and gadgets in this truck. In my opinion, this salesman (Dave Pennington) was a true professional. He was knowledgeable about everything and gave us more attention than we could have ever possibly imagined. All dealerships should treat their customers as Gilboy did. It was the best car/truck buying experience we have ever had and I would recommend them to anyone shopping for a new/used car. More

I am 72 years old and have purchased a few cars in my time but I never encountered such pleasant, straight forward professional treatment. I initally stopped in for a brochure and left with a new truck. My decision to purchase the truck had to do with the way the salesman and Mr. Gilboy treated me. There was no double talk or pressure.
