I went to Gettel Toyota because I was browsing on the internet for a good deal on an FJ Cruiser. I found exactly what I was looking for at a phenomenal price. I also dealt with the General Manager Jeramie Snelling who was of great help with overseeing the financing and making sure that everything was in order and that I was getting the best deal possible. Terrible, their used car dept is what gives used car dealers a bad name. False advertisement, incorrect listings for vehicle that are obvious tricks...wasted 2 hours of my life dealing with them lying and trying to manipulate , once they realized I had come in with a set price, was paying CASH, and I wasnt about to be "worked" with any of their magical add on costs (car was advertised at $5991, confirmed this over phone, drove 1 hour to buy) once we got their sticker price said 8200..., I told them this must be wrong car, they brought out another car, woth price 12,000, I told them I had confirmed that the first car they brought out (which was the one pictured in the listing I responded to with all the correct specs) was $5991 and pulled out the email proving it, they came back then with an offer of 7400, I told them, NO, this is b.s I am paying CASH and want the confirmed price honored. They went on to tell me that they have all these fees and finance charges etc ( Mind you I was paying CASH) I reaslize tax tag etc cost above and beyond, but they were not about to even get nea the number THEY listed on the add. Sheisty and dishonest. Silly me for thinking anything else of a used car place...Once they realized I was not budging and had all my ducks in a row, Paul got very short and rude and started in on how is he supposed to turn a profit or pay his employees if he makes no money off of us. THEN DONT ADVERTISE THAT PRICE JACK A$$! I left and will NEVER be back nor will anyone I know... Unfortunatly, as much as I did to ensure they were on the up and up before I drove all the way there, I didnt read the reviews about this dealership, I see I am not alone in having been treated this way More

So I hate new car shopping and decided that since I knew what I wanted I would shop this transaction via the internet. I visited four different dealers through their web sights and Gettel was the hands down what I wanted I would shop this transaction via the internet. I visited four different dealers through their web sights and Gettel was the hands down winner. They were quick, efficient, had amazing follow up and came across with the final pricing with a complete breakdown in an hour or so. Perhaps I should mention that their pricing for the exact model, same options etc. was by far the best. Their internet rep., Renita Garcia is a sweet, professional, super efficient joy to work with. Another Toyota dealer was only sending me info that I could find on KBB or the Toyota.com website. It took them 3 days to get mw final numbers that were way more than Gettel. So for me, it is a no brainer. If they work that fast to get my business and treat me fairly, then I will drive the extra few miles to give them my service work as well. KUDOS Renita for a job well done. More
I worked with salesman (Malibu) and left and unhappy customer. After we negotiated the price, I told him that I had to leave due to other obligations and he came rushing out offering me an extra $500 fo customer. So, I told him to let me think about it and I will get back to him. The next day he texted me see what I thought of the car and I told him that I would go through with the deal and if he could talk to the upper management to see if they could make a better offer for my trade-in. I had a 09 Jag XF at the time that I wanted to trade in and he has offering me $6-7k less than KBB and TMV had appraised for a trade-in for that particular car with same mileage. He started to tell me that KBB and TMV are not accurate and my car was worth far less being an exotic car which is harder to sell. Not to mention, I was not even expecting them to match KBB or TMV, but at least, offer me another few hundred dollars. After the initial text, I have not heard from him in a couple days to see what the upper management had agreed on, so I texted him to see what was going on with the car. He then told me the car has already been sold! wtheck! I mean, at least, have the decency to call the customer if he has already sold the car. Then,I texted him back to see if this another Tundra I saw online was still available in stock. He replied saying that he will check and get back to me. Days later, I still have not gotten a response... Overall, I have only met with one salesman at this dealership so I can not speak for the rest, but Malibu is by far the WORST salesman I have dealt with. In light of everything, I am glad that he was unfriendly, unprofessional, and only cared about making the most money by ripping of customers, I went to a different dealership (Toyota Stadium) and found a better car while being treated like a human. More
