We worked with Barry Joubert and found him to be an excellent sales person. We were impressed by the beautiful and very clean show room. We were greeted by smiling, pleasant, and helpful people who directed us to Barry Joubert. Barry quickly found out our interests and made suggestions as to what might fit our needs. We came in to look and ended up buying the Avalon. We also found the business manager very helpful. We found the whole experience to be pleasant and helpful. We recommend Barry Joubert and this dealership to everyone looking for a new car. More
Bad practices I went to look at a 2003 Nissan Central that was advertised at $2992 but by the time they added on all there extra charges it came to $4196. WOW what I went to look at a 2003 Nissan Central that was advertised at $2992 but by the time they added on all there extra charges it came to $4196. WOW what a DIFFERANCE! Since I had just sold my car I knew how much taxes and title transfer was I just couldn't understand how they came up with that figure I called and asked a manager how a $2992 car ended up being $4196 he explained that they charge $800 for filing fees. When I looked that up on the internet it said that they had heard of as high as $499 for filing fees but $800 was mover been heard of. Most states put a cap on filing fees but Florida does NOT! Having a filing fee is just a way to put free money in there pockets. How much do you think a dealership charge for them to write down in a file that a car was sold at x amount of dollars? Contact your local congressman and demand they either outlaw or at least put a cap on filing fees. Getter uses a reasonable price to get you into there dealership just to find out the price is going to be almost double the cost. More

I drove from homosassa fl to Bradenton fl to get my truck which was supposed to be on hold for me thru Friday 3/13/2015. My trip I made especially for that truck took me over 2 hrs to get there. When I got there I was supposed to meet with John Sekula which turned out to be the GM of the dealership. I got there about 330pm and waited about 30mins when John came over to me and handed me off to another John who was just to take me out to see the truck and would come back as soon as he finished another deal. So we went over to the used vehicle side to see the truck and the other John asked another gentleman to pull the truck out front. The gentleman went to the computer and then over to another gentleman and came back and whispered to the other John saying the truck was sold the yesterday. I heard that and walked back to the new car side to speak to the GM. I waited about another 20 mins when he came out and I said how is a truck that was supposed to be on hold for me for my offer sold yesterday. He said he was sorry he didn't know. This shows me the word of this dealership is very poor. All was offered to me was some gas for my current vehicle which was less than $20. So my time and trip down there meant diddly to them I will never refer them or if someone tells me they are going there I will suggest they not waste there time. All they care about is themselves. No loyalty to repeat customers I have purchased many new/used vehicles from Gettel, most recent was 5 months ago. I called 3/9 and negotiated a price on a used car. Bobbie, interne I have purchased many new/used vehicles from Gettel, most recent was 5 months ago. I called 3/9 and negotiated a price on a used car. Bobbie, internet sales confirmed the out the door price and I went to see the vehicle first hand. I explained it was a purchase for my son in law, cash, and we wanted to complete the deal on 3/11. I offered a $100 deposit to hold the car as well. I arrived and was told I needed to put down $1000 on the $5000 car right then or it would not be held. The car was sold (allegedly) and Gettel will not retain any of my future business due to their selfish and strong armed behavior. I understand business and people may not return for a said vehicle but my years of allegiance (no more) were discarded and I was treated like a first time walk in. The positive from this experience is I purchased a similar car for similar money at Cortez Motors and now have a new favorite dealership. My $5000 lost purchase at Gettel will not cripple them, but sharing my negative experience through word of mouth and social media may warn others of how unappreciative this company is of past (former customers). I called before I arrived, told him what I was looking for and he had m a new Corolla S Plus pulled out front for me to check out. We took it for a drive and it was what I wanted so I told him that I was there to buy a car if we could agree on the numbers and get it financed. Jacob and his sales manager worked on the deal and after just a little back and forth, we agreed on a fair price and just had to finalize all of the paperwork. So far so good. Once I was brought into the finance office I was shocked that the price went up and extras (extended warranty and GAP insurance) were added onto the negotiated price without my consent. On top of it, the person in finance tried to make it sound like the bank added these things on. Now I was fully prepared to purchase GAP and would have appreciated the opportunity to agree to it. However, I had zero interest in an extended warranty and it was promptly removed or else there would have been no deal. Ultimately I purchased the car and am happy with the purchase. It would have been an absolutely perfect buying experience had it not been for person in finance adding extras before inviting me in. I would have appreciated having the opportunity to negotiate in good faith rather than having to threaten to leave in order to have the warranty removed from the contract. To potential car buyers: you can get a really good deal at Gettel Toyota and I would highly recommend working with Jacob Cooper. Just be aware that the finance manager is not your friend and is a commissioned sales person too who wants you to buy GAP, extended warranty, paint sealant. etc. GAP is good to have but I cannot recommend the others add ons. Excellent place to do business with I initially looked at the Toyota Sienna alone. I asked them to look for a particular model for me, which they found. Once it arrived at a later date, I initially looked at the Toyota Sienna alone. I asked them to look for a particular model for me, which they found. Once it arrived at a later date, I then had my wife test drive and see if she could put up and down the 3rd row seat. She is 5'1" and she had to climb into the vehicle to do it. The 3rd row seats were to heavy for her to do it from outside the back of the van. Other wise we both loved the Sienna Van. Still it was great working with James Gardell (Sales Manager) and John Mattock (Sales Associate). Both were very professional and offered us a great price on the 2015 Sienna and our trade-in. We declined their offer based on the fact I felt my wife could possibly get injured trying to put the 3rd row seats up and down. More
