Vehicle purchase is my 25 year old daughter who works full time and goes to school. Ordered a RAV4 Hybird in February. Car came in damaged in March they said, need to order another. Second RAV is expected this week so finance department Dora contacted us. She called herself “legal”? I have purchased more vehicles then most people, and finance managers have never deferred to themselves as legal. That is ridiculous. She is not an attorney nor a paralegal. Stop saying your legal. Started going over the contracts and we told her no added warranties were wanted that are not included in the original price. Simple right? $15k down, excellent credit and this would be the 3rd vehicle purchased at this dealer shop in the last 2 years. One was a lease, not issues. Other was a Tacoma no issues. You what Dora tells us? We have to add on an additional $599 for paint protection. It’s mandatory at Germain Toyota, out of her control. Why? Well it’s all part of legal don’t you know? When you return the vehicle it better for everyone don’t you know. What the holly heck is she blathering about? We are buying a vehicle and it is none of her nor the dealers concern what we do with it. True story — mandatory paint protection! Sure better than a wax, not as good as a ceramic coat — definitely not for $599. She never even explained what it entailed so I really don’t know. Her “legal” contracts had the wrong information, social security number, contact info and she again stumbled blaming it on someone else in Finance (or did she really mean legal?) so my opening to ask to have that person call us to complete the purchase. Buy. Carlos calls us back, same story, out of his hands paint protection mandatory. Now I know this vehicle will be sold quickly since it has such high demand, but they lost 5 customers at once here and the car market will not always be like it is now. What a disappointing experience all around and to be treated like we were actually going to go along with such nonsense. Stay away from Germain is all I can stay. More
I had my toyota tacoma radio replaced. I had SiriusXM since my purchase in 2014. I was told by my service advisor that i never has sirius. These things happen but what bothers me is that i was called a liar, not only be the service advisor but by the service manager. I was told that i had a base model that did not have internet access. On March 31 I purchased a new Toyota from Germain Toyota. As part of the Financing process, the Financing Manager attempted to sell me an extended warranty. I refused the warranty. On April 20th I received m As part of the Financing process, the Financing Manager attempted to sell me an extended warranty. I refused the warranty. On April 20th I received my financing payment information. In reviewing the details I found that I had been charged $868 for an extended warranty. I call the Finance Manager and he agreed to remove it. I signed an electronic change form and received a signed copy of the removal of the $868 charge. Today I checked my statement and found out that no notification removing the $8688 charge had been submitted. I called Germain and talked to another individual and was informed there was no form on file. Even though I had a copy of the signed form sent to me. I maybe can understand one error in charging me for and extended warranty, but two times is a pattern. Beware! More

This service department is terrible. The latest problem. I had a tire rotation left on my 2019 Highlander. Took the vehicle in Saturday 1/29/22. I bought new tires from Costco a few months ago. The service I had a tire rotation left on my 2019 Highlander. Took the vehicle in Saturday 1/29/22. I bought new tires from Costco a few months ago. The service guy came out and said ; “we can’t remove the wheel lugs they are too tight”. I scheduled with Costco and watched the guys remove all four wheels with NO PROBLEM!! This dealership especially the service department is terrible!! I actually called as I was watching Costco remove them with ease. Watch this dealership. I am a car guy and I actually sold my other Toyota (A Corolla). I went next door and bought a Lexus. This Germain Lexus is owned by a different brother. Do yourself a favor AND STEER AWAY from Germain Toyota!!!! More
This is the most discombobulated dealership I have ever worked with. I felt taken advantage of just so they could make a sale, I was given no choice but to do it immediately or lose the deal, 160 Point ins worked with. I would never recommend this dealership! The finance person told me and I quote "go on get out of here you're wasting my time", this statement was made by him based on the fact that I wouldn't buy his line of xx. More
