I’ve tried calling you and they said I have to wait someone to call me back. Not sure who’s going to call me back but I’ve been told the same story that I have to wait until summer sometime. I wonder if Mr. Ogawa is aware of what’s going on with the customer service in Naples.

I understand your frustration. I do not understand the review score of 1-star. This is outside the dealership's control and if there is anything further you would like to share, I’m available to take your call. I have provided a Toyota FAQ. Q1. What is causing this shortage? A. Global semiconductor shortages are creating a shortage of microchips needed for our Smart Key entry system. To provide vehicles as soon as possible to our customers, we are temporarily reducing the number of smart keys provided from two to one. We will provide the second key fob to customers as they become available. Q2. Why does this only apply to certain vehicle models? A. Some vehicles have a different key fob that is not being impacted at this time. Q3. What vehicles are impacted by the Smart Key shortage? A. Several of our NA-built and imported models are impacted by this shortage. We will initiate a special service campaign to provide customers with a second key fob as soon as possible. Q4. How long will this shortage last? A. Currently, vehicles produced in October and beyond will be impacted, and we continue to work diligently to minimize the impact on our customers.
