Don’t walk, run away from this place. DO NOT BUY A NEW OR USED CAR from these people!! I went to Germain Toyota in June to see if they had pricing and information on the new Toyota Grand DO NOT BUY A NEW OR USED CAR from these people!! I went to Germain Toyota in June to see if they had pricing and information on the new Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid which they did and said they were taking fully refundable deposits. I asked them if I would be the first one on the list as I needed the car asap. The sales rep Gerardo “Jerry” Gutierrez. I told him to go back and confirm with his managers that I would only put a deposit if I was first in line. He came back again and said I was the first and only deposit. He asked if I had a car to trade in and told him that I was going to sell two cars and pay the rest cash when it came into the dealership. He said that I should get ready to sell the cars as it would be 1-2 months tops before my car came in and said he could only hold the car for 30 days once it comes in. I’m not worried as I sell all my cars privately as these crappy dealerships love to make $6k to $8k on every trade in they get. So I waited, waited, even got a couple emails from the internet sales manager Adrian Morales. He asked if Jerry was keeping in touch and if I was fine with the wait. First month I got weekly calls or emails. Second month become less, third month and for the 4th and 5th month only 1 update. As we approach the end of the year, I need to buy the car before the end of the year for tax purposes. I decide to email them and no response. I go to there website and wow…all of a sudden they have 17 of them and one of them is my model! I go into the dealership to see if I can see the car and they said it was in transit and not there. That’s fine. I then ask to make sure that I can pick it up and Jerry says…I’m sorry. We have someone that put a deposit ahead of you… One…really. I think one of two things happened. They had someone after me agree to pay more, or they did not care and decided to offer me to get my deposit back as he saw I was starting to get pissed off. Or the second reason was they wanted to mark up the vehicle as they agreed to sell it to me at MSRP. I’m so glad I went with my gut and never sold either of my cars and also didn’t trust these xxxxxxxx at Germain Toyota. I would NOT even buy a car from me xxxx suckers if they took $5k off the sticker at this point. All I had to do is call 3 dealerships on the East coast and I had one secured for pickup in under 90 minutes. Going to pick up our new car next Monday and so glad these people aren’t getting a penny of my money. I’m not writing this for their crappy staff to call me or Wendy the GM to try to smooth things over. I believe in Karma and if place went out of business tomorrow I’d be happy with that as a consolation prize. Stay away, stay far away. These people are xxxxx. and deserve to lose their jobs, instead they will most likely promoted instead of demoted. More
Had a wonderful experience with the service manager Edison. He took care of an issue that could of gotten blown out of control. He was mature and thoughtful . I had very good service experience at Germain Toyota of Naples. I took my car to the service area for a diagnostic problem with my Toyota. I went to the waiting area, I met my service advisor Damieon Naples. I took my car to the service area for a diagnostic problem with my Toyota. I went to the waiting area, I met my service advisor Damieon Reed there. I only had to wait 1 and 50 minutes for diagnoses of the problem. My Toyota is an older model, I was told that the part needed, wasn’t available then. Damieon told me it would be the next day before the part would be available, that he would call me when to return. I return after his call, waiting time was only 1hour and 40 minutes for the install. More
