Been dealing with a paint recall at germain Toyota for 2 1/2 years now and the latest problem is most of the panels they painted are mapping/peeling. They had to remove my sunroof to paint and my sun roof h 1/2 years now and the latest problem is most of the panels they painted are mapping/peeling. They had to remove my sunroof to paint and my sun roof has been leaking ever since. They have game me the run around for over two months of fixing the problem they created. Nothing but headaches with this place. Unfortunately it’s my local dealership. Was told they are too backed up to fix it now and to just let it leak until they can get it in. Was told three times that they would get it in soon and every time was told sorry still can’t. Was told yesterday that they want to just ban me from the dealership because they can’t fix it. So now my car gets wet any time it rains and the paint looks like the clear coat was done by a guy using a spray can. Dropped it off August 13th to repair roof leak Picked it up October 10th and was still leaking Was told to give them two weeks to get it back in Two weeks later was told they are backed up and to bring it in Jan 7th Brought it in Jan 7th and was told they are still backed up and they would call me later that week and let me know that I could bring it in Jan 20th or 27th Called them Jan 19th after not hearing from them and was told they want to just ban me from the dealership because they can’t figure out how to fix my sun roof or paint and that they canceled my appointment.
