Trisha was amazing to work with, and I very much appreciated Jeff and Nate's diligence with customer service and getting every detail handled. I was particularly pleased with them offering me a very fair value for my trade and I love my new vehicle! More
BUYER BEWARE! Stay clear of this dealership! BUYER BEWARE! DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES! Our experience was above and beyond crazy dealing with these people. Having a family owned business, I BUYER BEWARE! DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES! Our experience was above and beyond crazy dealing with these people. Having a family owned business, I would be ashamed if my employees treated people the way these managers function. We are from Michigan and we began by putting down a $500 deposit with Trisha to hold a vehicle that we fully intended on purchasing but had to make sure we had all things handled before making the long drive. Emails exchanged, lots of phone calls getting details in place, they ran my credit and told me I was good, and did a pre-assessment of our trade, to move toward sale had all occurred. When our local dealership would not accept their Ethos warranty, meant we had to try and find a warranty elsewhere. In looking, Ethos has poor internet ratings but found another warranty, however our salesman Nate, made it clear that he was very unhappy about us not utilizing THEIR warranty company. Then we presented our salesman Nate with the KBB price that showed their price was way over the HIGH END of KBB recommended selling price. I was told we shouldn't use KBB as an accurate estimation. We responded with asking, why then would they have estimated our trade-in based on KBB? If it works one way, it should work the other way. This is where the hypocrisy and mistreatment started. They stated that they based their price off competitors, but one must make the assumption that everyone pays the exact asking price, which in car sales, we know simply is not the case. In asking to speak to a manager, I spoke with Vincent, who after hearing my thoughts, reduced the price by $400. I told him I would talk with my husband and call him back quickly, and I did within the hour and suddenly no one would return our phone calls on a vehicle we HAD a deposit on. I followed up with emails and phone calls that night and no one returned our calls. I called when they opened at 9am the next day and got Tim Curran, Executive Manager, who told me they were no longer willing to offer me the vehicle and they wanted to return my refund. My response was, you can't do that I have a deposit on it and I want to accept the price offered to me last night that I kept calling on but no one was returning phone calls or emails. He informed me that he could basically do what he wanted with no legal ramifications. But yet it gets better. He agrees that he will check into it and call me back within 3-4 hours, after waiting the 3-4 hours both my husband and I try to reach the dealership but no one will speak with us. My husband finally gets through to Vincent who assures him that no they will no longer sell us the car because they now have other interested parties, then why offer a deposit option to hold a vehicle, what a scam! In calling back to speak with Tim Curran, and telling him I simply can't believe they aren't willing to sell us a vehicle we have a deposit on and I explain to him I am going to indeed call the BBB and post reviews, he responds to me by putting me on speaker phone and instructing me to repeat what I just told him to all his salesman and everyone in the room, so that everyone could hear my threats. Nope Tim Curran these aren't threats, but a guarantee! This is completely deplorable behavior for any "Executive Manager", to behave in this manner. Who does this kind of thing, other than a sick and twisted individual that I am so glad we won't be doing business with. These are crazy demoralizing tactics to use on customers. The Moral to This Story: If as a customer you do your homework, sales managers like Tim Curran will be unhappy and threatened by you and result to violating terms and agreements so they don't have to follow through with what they agreed to. Buy elsewhere, but if you choose them, don't do your homework, they are only interested in people they can make excessive amounts of money off that choose not to do their homework! I welcome a phone call from Bob Hawkinson or Jim Hawkinson, as I can't imagine being a company owner and reading this review and not reaching out to the customer. More
