Horrible experience with the service department. Back in June I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and it took them 3 hours while I was waiting there for the vehicle. I had asked them to look at an issue with my car and it took 3 times until someone finally addressed it. After looking at the car, I was told it is perfectly normal based on the car. The car continues to shake and make a noise while I’m backing up. While my experience with sales has been good, I will be taking my business else where for my next lease due to the service department. More

Even got my phone connected and established my blue link account too. Mike Chino the General Manager thanked me for my purchase and was nothing but exceptional to work with. I have purchased many corporate vehicles from Gerald Automotive Group for more than 12 years and their team lays steps up to the plate. No games in finance either other than the standard pitch for add on warranty options. A polite "no thank you" was enough to stop any hard sale. The Hyundai sales experience was positive from my perspective! More
I was looking to test drive two different vehicles. The website indicated that they were in stock in the trim I was interested in (the top tier trim). I called and spoke to the manager, Mohit. He assured me that they had both models in the trim I was interested in. I made an appointment for the following morning. I was greeted by a salesperson who checked my reservation and then asked me what I wanted to drive. When I told him, he said he had to go check with Mohit about the inventory. After 5 minutes, he returned and told me they did not have either of the cars I was looking for. He tried to convince me to drive something else, but I left. I will not be buying from a dealership that is willing to flat-out lie to me to get me to drive 35 minutes there and back for nothing. Total lack of professionalism. More

Why is there no loaner cars? I Was told they have them but do not have any available, I said I'll wait till one is available, then told well we have them but not currently loani I Was told they have them but do not have any available, I said I'll wait till one is available, then told well we have them but not currently loaning them out until further notice? Ok so you do not have a loaner program just say it. Now I have to bring car back because it was not fixed right the first time and wait again. I recently moved here, and I have never heard of a dealer that did not have loaner cars, is this common to Chicago? Last question asks about pickup and delivery is that an option? If so no one offered that. More

Worst treatment from a service dept. ever. Joseph accused me of putting diesel in my New Tucson after the fuel pump failed, as well as the fuel injectors, after only 4k miles. They insis ever. They insisted that was the issue, which I have never had in all my years of owning a vehicle. I read recently read in a forum that this is a weakness in the new 2022s. They refused to work with me, and I was forced to get my insurance company involved to get the repair. I was told to tell them it was vandalism to get my insurance to cover it. I should have pursued it to the higher ups, since I believe I got a lemon. I t took them a month get it fixed after the insurance approval. They never called with updates. I had to call to get any information on my car, but Joseph never returned my phone calls, and every time I called he was busy or on another line. Yeah right. He didn't want to talk to me because he knew they were lying to me, and I was persistent. I may be a woman, but I am not stupid. I've bought many vehicles alone in my life, and I know when I'm being fed bs. When I was finally texted that my vehicle was done, I called and asked them to do an oil change while the vehicle was in the shop. Oh sure, they said, but none was done when I picked it up. Shady shady service dept. They can act all helpful and friendly, but once things go wrong, they ghost you. I even drove 20 miles to buy my vehicle from them because I heard they were good. Sales Dept. was great, but service sucks. Their lifetime warranty I can guarantee you is pure bull, because they will find a way around repairing your vehicle under warranty. More
