Mixed Feelings.. . This was our second car from this dealership. First one was Towne Kia just before they switched to Gateway. Towne Kia experience was fine. I went out of my way to go back to the same dealership this time around for our 2016 Optima SXL. Process was easy and we were out the door and I was pleased with the deal, although they denied the UBER rebate on a lease and I later found out from other dealerships that they are accepted on leases ($1000 lost there). My fault. I didn't argue it. My sales person Robert Carrion was good. No complaints with him at all. My wife loved the car so we purchased it on the spot with very little wheeling and dealing necessary (most was done prior to visit). The issues all arose from there. They messed up the paperwork but Robert (my salesperson) kindly went out of his way to meet my wife to fix it (had old address). From there, they waited the entire 20 days to pay off my trade, which resulted in me having to make a payment on a car that I no longer owned. My payment was 18 days out from the date of the trade. Yes I got it back but they were short on the payoff. I purchased a remote start. The tech who installed it scratched and marked up some interior panels. Although minor and most of the marks rubbed off and left behind a small mess, along with a razor blade on the drivers side floor mat. yes, a razor blade... I informed my sales person and never heard back with as much as an apology. I also did not get my complimentary car wash. Most recently, trying to schedule for a loaner car is like an act of god. Gas pedal is clicking on the 2016 Optima. They can't look at it on a Saturday and refused to offer me a loaner unless it was an overnight visit. My local Kia deaership offered a loaner on the spot. I should have went with them. But I have my two free oil changes that I need to use up. Overall, great car. Decent purchase experience. Mediocre follow up and service. Before I consider using them again, they will need to win me back. Maybe I am nit picking here, but I have well over a dozen dealership experiences and none quite like this. Update: My service visit for my oil change and service appointment went well. Staff was friendly and they did wash the car this time. More

From offering us a cup of latte to a deal we simply could not refuse. We would happily recommend Gateway KIA on Route 10, Denville and likely to return for future busniess. Now today I call for service and told I'm not entitled to a loaner car.!! Total BS. Paid for something they are not honoring!! Terrible , Terrible, Terrible. Take your business elsewhere. More

I had the privilege to work with a great staff at Denville Kia in the purchase of my new Sorrento. I was greeted and delightfully introduced to Nelson who helped me through the entire process. Nelson's innate ability to successfully address my financial qualms was very comforting. I was able to have every technical question answered with no hesitation from Nelson. His incredible proficiency of Kia vehicles and his warm and welcoming demeanor was a home run for me. A gracious thank you to my new family at Denville Kia. More
SAL THE GENERAL MANAGER sold wrong car My niece bought a car on June 20 and asked to write great revues for it by the dealership! 3 weeks later was called that she MUST return the car they My niece bought a car on June 20 and asked to write great revues for it by the dealership! 3 weeks later was called that she MUST return the car they leased her!!!!! That they sold her the wrong car. Fact is they sold her the car she wanted some paperwork correct and others not. and harassed her at her place of employment that she needed to immediately return the car, they would give her a different car, not the color she wanted , and for her trouble they would give her a remote start. She would not accept their offer of a different color and the big bonus of the remote start, they really tried pressuring her that she needed to stop whatever she was doing and bring the car immediately!!!!!!!!!!! The finance manager called her mother at work and they got into a heated argument where this manager was cursing at her!!! UNREAL. I then called the gm Sal and he still tried with me that she needed to return the car "because it was a lot of work on their end to redo paperwork" are you kidding me, she should accept a car she doesn't like because your too LAZY!!!! On Thursday 7-14 I made a time with him for Monday 7-18 to come in with niece at 1 pm to redo all paperwork with him and asked to please have all papers ready and that we only wanted at this point to deal with a manager and he agreed. WELL HE NEVER BOTHERED TO GET OFF HIS CHAIR.. WOULDN'T EVEN LOOK AT US..NO PAPERWORK WAS READY..NO APOLOGIES FOR ANY OF THE MESS THEY CAUSED. THE WORST EXCUSE FOR A MANAGER EVER !!!! HE SHOULD BE LET GO OR MICRO MANAGED DUE TO HIS INCOMPETENCY, AND HUSSEIN SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED IMMEDIATELY FOR THE STRONG/VULGAR LANGUAGE HE USED WITH A CUSTOMER. IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED HORRIBLY STRONG ARMED AND BE DISMISSED AS BOTHERSOME GO TO GATEWAY, THEY ARE THERE AND WAITING !!!!!! More

Michael showed us around the vehicle, and, while he was new and did not seem to know much about the car, he did try, and he was helpful in giving us a chance to explore the vehicle. After the test drive, he disappeared. My wife and I left, expecting a follow-up call. After not hearing anything for a couple of days, I emailed the dealer with some follow up questions. Again, there was no follow up, but I did get contacted by the internet sales person for the company who asked if I had any questions. I sent her my questions. She never got back to me. By this time, we had test-driven the other cars we were interested in, and we were sure the Kia was what we wanted. I called and tried to reach the salesperson I had worked with, and got someone who identified himself as a sales manager. I told him the options we wanted, and he said he would call me back in a few minutes. That was two days ago. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was polite. They just do not seem very interested in helping people get cars. More
