The most pleasant service appointment I've ever had! I took my Honda CR-V to Gary Yeoman's Honda at their new dealership at the Daytona Auto Mall the other day because the maintenance minder told me it I took my Honda CR-V to Gary Yeoman's Honda at their new dealership at the Daytona Auto Mall the other day because the maintenance minder told me it was time. It was my first visit to the new compound, and it's pretty impressive! At least three times larger than the old place on Nova Road: modern, lots of glass, leather furniture, several TVs, a coffee bar, snack bar...The service guy greeted me warmly and brought me inside to sign what needed to be signed and then walked me over to the new lounge area where I settled to read. If I hadn't brought my Coke with me, I could have helped myself to any of several kinds of cold drinks and grabbed something to go with it while I waited. The lounge area was pretty quiet, even with the TVs on, and there were no intercom announcements every five minutes as in other places. In what seemed like no time at all, my service guy came back to get me and walked me out to my car - which had been worked on and then washed (no charge for the wash). All in all, an impressive trip. My Honda got it's service and I got some time in a comfortable, quiet place to read while it happened. Totally different from any other visit to a dealership for service. I'll actually look forward to going back! More
