It is with great pleasure that I write this review; I normally don't partake in these surveys, however I liked Brad, he was professional, respectful, courteous, honest, personable and very, very good wit normally don't partake in these surveys, however I liked Brad, he was professional, respectful, courteous, honest, personable and very, very good with me as I consider myself to be a tough person to work with. I conducted my research on the internet prior to coming in and knew exactly what I wanted when I arrived at the dealership. I shopped other local dealerships and walked away because I either didn't care for the salesperson that was attending to me or how the dealership conducted their business. Upon arriving Brad made me feel welcomed and guided me to exactly what I was shopping for without trying to up-sell, over-sell or pressure me into closing a deal. Brad should be considered an asset to Garvey Hyundai North as he made the sale seamless and expedited the entire process of purchasing my new vehicle. Brad was amazing! He went above and beyond to make my husband and I 150% satisfied with the cars we drove home with! He listened to what I wanted and chose the PERFECT car for me!! Overall my experience with Garvey Hyundai in Plattsburgh N.Y. was very good. He seems very knowledgeable and has a good personality. The only concern I had (and I am also the blame) , is the "nuts and bolts" of the deal I made with your dealer ship. There were too many unknowns, I tried to have them explain to me, but got a vague response, or just sign here attitude. I know newer help is an OJT thing and I should of stop at times and demanded a better answer to the forms/contracts in questions that I didn't quit understand. But again, I felt I was treated fair after I got done talking to Bob again, and he did a good job and making me more aware of what I was getting into. Just a more informative approach and explaining again the "nuts and bolts" of the deal and not assuming your customers are in tune in what your presenting. Too many passive people in the world, and they don't want to come off looking stupid, so they sign away hoping for the best. You need to bridge that gap. I already own a Hyundai and this visit traded a Ford Edge for a Chevy TrailBlazer - they have worked wonders with all of my vehicles regardless of make. Kudos to Sal in Service for introducing me to my new SUV and to Brad for making it happen! More
Bought a used 2004 Chevy s10 pickup and traded in my Sante Fe because I was led to believe the all wheel drive was as good as 4 wheel drive. Not true! I was told they thoroughly went through the vehic Sante Fe because I was led to believe the all wheel drive was as good as 4 wheel drive. Not true! I was told they thoroughly went through the vehicle to check everything. Not true! These are the issues so far. New window motor and new electric lock switch, 3 rebuilt transmissions installed and still not fixed. New rear end because the poorly rebuilt tranny installed blew it up! They said they did the brakes which they didn't! Just put on new pads and passed the inspection. They had to be cut off with a torch today by another garage. They said they did a safety inspection and assured me all parts were good. Serpentine belt found to be bad 5000 miles later. Blower fan found to be bad just after purchase and the sales manager refused to fix it because "since they didn't profit $3-4,000 on the vehicle they didn't feel they were responsible to fix it!" Air filter was mouse infested! Wheel bearings replaced today as well! Thank God I purchased the extended warranty! By the way the only things they fixed were those covered by the warranty!! Only good thing about this truck is the engine runs like a top......for now! Avoid these people like the plague! More

Went to Garvey Hyundai in Plattsburgh to inquire about leasing a car. I told Brad exactly what I was looking for. He was very honest and did not try to sell me something I didn't want or need.
