I ran into a situation when I tried to add this used Subaru to My Subaru list and am finding out that I really have to provide a large number of documents to Subaru to prove my ownership of this car before it can be added. I have deadline to get all of this paperwork sent in to Subaru, however, Subaru does not take into consideration that New York State DMV moves at a snail's pace when it is a holiday season. I am hoping that the ownership of this car can be dealt with through the dealer faster than I can do it. Never had this issue with any of the other used Subarus that I have purchased. Suddenly it is not easy to own a Subaru and list it with headquarters. Not a happy camper dealing with all of this especially since the car that was totaled was not functioning well with eye sight dropping in and out and no collision avoidance working.
