I sell cars here in Mobile, Alabama. A previous customer contacted me about locating an SUV for her son. Are two weeks of searching he decided he liked a 2011 Buick Enclave at Galleria BMW. I told him upon contacted me about locating an SUV for her son. Are two weeks of searching he decided he liked a 2011 Buick Enclave at Galleria BMW. I told him upon his visit to tell the salesperson that he was referred to the store by me. Once they arrived at the store I had the pleasure of talking to the salesperson, AMY Lancaster. I asked Amy if her dealership paid referral fees and she said YES. She talked about how her dealership was transparent and she disclosed repairs done to the vehicle prior to the sale. My customers tested drove the vehicle that day. They point out some issues they found with the vehicle that Amy said that the dealership wouldn't take care of. If they wanted the items fixed that they would add them in the price of the vehicle. The vehicle, by the way, was listed on the internet for $13,750. My customers returned home on that day without purchasing. Two days later my customer made arrangements for the dealership to hold the vehicle by putting down a $1000 deposit. After taking an application for credit my customer was informed by Amy that he was approved with Capital 1 at an interest rate of 6%. The next day, the day they when to purchase the vehicle I get a call from CODY Bowman who introduced himself as the sales manager, informing me that Galleria BMW did not pay referral fees. Which Amy Lancaster straight lied about... I told him if I knew that I would have located a vehicle for my customers at a dealership that pays referral fees. I told him that' how I pay my bills and how I eat. He rudely and sarcastically offered me a cup or a T-shirt for the referral. I asked him if he was going to let a couple of hundred dollars come between selling this vehicle and he replied YES... I then called my customer to explain to him how the conversation when with Cody Bowman and he informed me that Cody had already called him telling him that I might try and talk him out of the deal. Which I had no intentions of doing because I knew my customer like the vehicle Then real selling point for my customer was that they claimed to have replaced the vehicle with a brand new transmission and that they would provide paperwork to prove that. Which they never did. On the day of the closing, they informed my customer that the interest rate of their contract would be 11%, not the 6% that they were told. Another LIE. Plus the price of the car had increased by $600. After deciding to go through with the deal anyway my customer did not receive a copy of any of the paperwork they had signed. While driving off the dealership lot my customer's mother noticed that the brake lights and the turning signal were not working. So much for vehicle inspections and transparency. The bottom line is my customer was not happy with their car buying experience at all. The mother plans to write a review herself. Amy and Cody both were very unprofessional. And Cody was straight RUDE to me. I plan to contact BMW's Corporate office to let them know how the Galleria store is doing business. I do business with BMW of Mobile store quite a bit and comparing them with the Galleria BMW store is like APPLE and a rotten ORANGE. Galleria being the ROTTEN ORANGE. And by the way, the BMW of Mobile store pays referral fees. I would never recommend this store to any of my friends or family. They don't care about their company's REPUTATION and the BMW Corporate office will hear about that! More
