I purchased 2016 Toyota Prius on July 6 as salesperson Rasha told car is fully functional. The reason for me to buy 2016 model and not 2015 or older models although older models were cheaper and had fewer Rasha told car is fully functional. While purchasing car dealer didn't offer me contract cancelling option not they or I had phone charging cable to check if charging (usb) port would charge the phone and play audio. As soon as I reached home, I realized dealer sold me defected car that wont allow charge and synch audio from phone which was the main objective of my car purchase that I was missing. If I dint care for the usb port and audio synching feature, I would have bought 2015 Toyota prius car with way lesser miles for way cheaper price. Dealer was already closed so I called Rasha the next day to find out car-return option. She offered to me fix the defected car if I didn't choose to return car and bring the car on Monday as it was Sunday and service center was closed that day. On Monday July 8, I handed my car along with its key and other valuable items in the car to a service gentleman. He promised me to fix the car taking it to the Toyota dealer. I got a call from Shanon (service person) telling me to come pick up the car on July 10 mentioning it has been fixed already. I went there but unfortunately problem has not been fixed; rather they broke my mid console trim figuring out the issue and thus I left my key and car again to Shanon who said that it will be fixed soon and call me. She did not call me but I got a text from random number from a dealer (925-475-8009 same number Rasha first initiated text to bring me to dealer to sell car) on July 16 mentioning that the car is ready to be picked up but I doubted if it has really been fixed and I replied back but they did not reply. In text I said that instead of July 16, I wil pick on July 18 so that they had time to double check if everything was fixed up so I dont have to waste my time coming back and forth but no reply came from the text they initiated. Shannon (my service advisor) never called me back to let me know if car has been fixed so I called her to check the status of repair. She knew I was calling her (my name popped up in her phone). She answered but told me to call back asap telling me that she had customers to serve. But she would not call back many hours while i was planning to go pick my car. She called me 3 hours later to disappoint me; said she just got approval to fix my car and she would update the status next day. But no calls again whatsoever. After a week I called to enquire today (July 24). Shannon seemed to pretend things; told me that she called Toyota dealer 3 times yesterday and 2 times today but Toyota did not answer phone, she also told me to call me back by the end of the day to let me know why it is taking so long after sending her guy to Toyota service center physically as Toyota service did not pick up call. But that was a false promise as well. Shanon didn't call me again . I was very worried and called Shannon around 5:45 pm (15 min before service closes) but they ignored my calls. I suspected that this dealer is making me fool so I called the Toyota Shanon mentioned to find out the status of my car repair. They refused to give me any info as I did not have service advisor name and phone number Shanon gave on file. I told Toyota that they were ignoring Shanon calls for inquiry many times daily. She laughed at me telling me that it must be a joke and she offered me her name and direct number (Shiela 9253492257) and told me to have Shanon call her directly. I wanted to give this info to Shannon but she neither would call me nor answer my phone. I fully paid the car in cash (about $14000) and havenot got to ride for almost a month. Absolutely avoid this dealership they will do anything to mislead you. My wife and I were very nervous. They got us to come inside when a negotiated price was fair, but when it went to the finance manager, t mislead you. My wife and I were very nervous. I am 85 years old, and my friend is 72 years old, she has Parkinson’s disease and uses a walker to get around, she can’t speak above a whisper, so I have to talk for.her, I have a bad knee and I have to use Parkinson’s disease and uses a walker to get around, she can’t speak above a whisper, so I have to talk for.her, I have a bad knee and I have to use a cane to get around…. she had an accident and wrecked her car and had a settlement for $30,000., that said, I would like to explain why I am writing this….. last Saturday on the 18th she came down from Auburn California so I can take her car shopping, she was interested in getting a used Hyundai SUV..We went to Future Hyundai in Concord, and talked to a salesman by the name of Hans.Anwar, he showed us a 2020 silver Tucson Ultimate SUV with 25,600 miles on it, he said the price was $36,900 dollars. we made an offer of $30,000 out the door, he said he would have to talk to his manager and when he came out he said no deal can we go higher and we said $31,000 and he talk to his manager again and said he couldn’t go less than $33,000 for the car of course we couldn’t go that high so I took his card with his phone number on it and left.. we came home and discussed the price and the car. She really wanted it bad so I told her I would loan her the money, so later that day, I called Hans back on his cell phone and he told me it was too late the car was sold so she went home to Auburn….. the next day on Sunday the 19th. I was searching the Internet and looked at your other dealership; Hyundai jeep and saw the same SUV for sale for $32,995, so I called and talked to one of your salesman and asked him if it was the same SUV that was at future Hyundai be said yes it was, I explain that I saw the car at a Hyundai dealership and I was familiar with the car and I would like to make offer on it.. he said he was busy at the moment, but he took my phone number and said he would call me back…. today is Monday the 20th and I still haven’t heard from your him…Is this the way your salesman treat older handicap citizens? …… before I go viral with this I would like to know what your management has to say about this. I have taken my vehicles in several times for scheduled maintenance and have slwsys received great service. Yesterday was no exception. Shannon helped us out with installing replacement bulbs for the headl maintenance and have slwsys received great service. Yesterday was no exception.
