My Dad had been researching prices of different cars on my behalf. I was mostly interested in Honda. The ONLY Honda representative that my dad spoke to out of about five different Honda dealerships was P my behalf. I was mostly interested in Honda. The ONLY Honda representative that my dad spoke to out of about five different Honda dealerships was Papa Mbaye. From the beginning, Papa was very polite with both me and my father and very patient with answering questions about pricing, availability, and also with negotiating and trying to meet my needs. I live about an hour away from Friendly Honda and Papa was excellent about returning my calls and scheduling a time for me to meet with him. Once I did meet with him, he was very patient with me (it is my first new car purchase) and answered all of my questions. I felt like he really listened to what I wanted and (unlike other Honda dealerships) was not pushy about trying to get me to decide on one car or another. Papa was also very helpful during the negotiation process and was very honest about everything. It literally was the first time ever that I didn't feel like I was dealing with a worm of a car salesman. Give Papa a raise, Honda! He deserves it. Also, I overheard other sales people at Friendly Honda dealing with their customers and they were nowhere near as well mannered and helpful as Papa was to me. More
I feel the exsperiance at friendly Honda was about the customer. We had a very positive experience working with Jose. He was very aggressive in matching, and in some cases beating, other price quotes we had in hand. This indicated to us his serious interest in gaining our patronage. He spoke very highly of Friendly's service department as well, and afterward the service manager called to make his introduction. He promised to assign his top mechanic to our account. My wife and I expect many smooth miles of carefree driving ahead. Based on previous experiences with sales staff from other dealerships, (as well as a few I met/overheard in-house) I feel confident stating that Jose is the best. He is very professional and businesslike, as well as personable and funny. He played the game to a "T". Which probably stands for Torres? Keep it up- keep it modest- and keep it real. Absolutely terrific dealership with extremely knowledgeable sales team. James was outstanding in his demeanor and presentation of the vehicle. He was honest about what the Honda Civic would offer as opposed to a Mazda 3 that I was looking at elsewhere. It made the decision to go with the Civic that much better because I knew exactly what to expect from the car. Thus far, I have been extremely happy with the Honda Civic and I know my family, which due for a new car soon, will return to Friendly Honda to take a look. Keep up the good work! More
All was great until I had to pick up the car. None of the paperwork was ready and the insurance company was never called. What should have been a 30 minute appointment took two hours. Ridiculous. When I got home I found out the keys to lock the doors don't work. I was told I have to go back to the dealership which is an hour's travel each way. This is very frustrating and negated the positive buying experience I had. One positive note, Dana in Internet Sales was a true pleasure to work with - she's excellent. Thanks. Chad More

We had become so skeptical and hardened, we could barely believe them when Bruce and the folks at Friendly made it so easy to get straight answers without any BS. Do your homework, and then take the extra time to drive up to Pughkeepsie and work with Friendly Honda. More

Brian was good about showing me the features on the car and took the time to pick me up at the rental car office since I had to drop it off there. Colin and Brian worked hard to find me insurance since my situation was a little difficult (moving to the US from Germany). Unfortunately, there was an error on how to register the car which created some issues with the contract etc. Brian and Colin quickly rectified this to my full satisfaction. I am pleased with the way I was treated during this issue and am finally very happy with the price of the vehicle. If there is a problem, they really try to help to fix it. The car is great and of very high quality! Thanks again! More

This was my first car purchase.I went into the dealership looking for prices. Danielle went through different options with me. Once I signed the paperwork, the car was ready for pickup very quickly. When I went to pick up the car, I scratched a scratchoff and won $500!!!!! The experience with Friendly Honda was pleasant and Danielle was excellent.
