In December 2021 I ordered a top trim $60K minivan - Pacifica Hybrid Pinnacle from Chrysler of Freehold. 7 month later, to my surprise car wasnt built to my ordered specications due to parts shortage. A Pacifica Hybrid Pinnacle from Chrysler of Freehold. 7 month later, to my surprise car wasnt built to my ordered specications due to parts shortage. A $275 paint protection package wasnt properly installed and driver's door didn't have a protection film on it at all. Oher parts had bubbles and peeling off edges. Sales person Kevin assured me that he will order the film and call me to come for installation. New $60K car didn't come with wheel locks and I asked sales person if they can move identical wheel locks from my 2019 Pacifica I was leaving behind. Chrysler mechanic came out and did it all on a parking lot using a power tool. Next day, during installation of car camera recorder, a blown fuse was found inside the fuse box that was responsible for lack of power in 12V outlet in the trunk. It was kindly fixed by camera installation place without a need to go to a dealer. 1 month later I realized Chrysler of Freehold changed my license plates, even though I asked to keep my original. 2 month later I still didnt hear any updates on paint protection film and I texted my sales person. His response was that he recently quit the job and I should visit dealership for that, good luck! I decided to do this next time I go for service. At around 5000 miles I got a nail in a tire and went to a tire shop to get it fixed. Nobody in a shop was able to remove wheels from this car with standard air powered tool they always used as it wasn't powerful enough to unscrew lug nuts or the wheel locks. They asked me who tightened those wheel locks and nuts with such crazy torque and I realized I was only touched by Chrysler of Freehold mechanic when he moved wheel locks. This issue costed me over a $140 for 3 new sets of wheel lock keys wit overnight shipping from McGuard. To remove wheel locks sh had to destroy 1 key for each wheel lock. My car is now 11 months old and developed a squeaking noise, when driving on highway or rough pavement. Noise was comiing somewhere from the front wheels or suspension and was very annoying and concerning. I sheduled a service appointment with Chrysler of Freehold. When I brought my car for service, their mechanic agreed to take a test drive to see what was happening. Roads around dealer are pretty smooth and finding any little bit of rough road section was challenging. Once mechanic heard the noise he agreed that it has to be looked at. I was told it takes a whole day to service the car, so l dropped my vehicle at 10am and left. Service department was closing at 6pm that day. At around 4pm I realized that nobody called and asked for a wheel lock key. I dialed service department and told them about wheel lock key location, which receptionist wasn't really interested in knowing but took a note of it. About an hour later I got a call that my car is ready for pickup. Service receipt listed that front right wheel brake cylinder was disassembled, cleaned and lubricated and that all parts of suspension were checked and retorqued to factory specifications. It also mentioned that reported issue couldn't be replicated, even though mechanic heard it himself during a test drive. In my understanding, amount of work mentioned on service receipt requires a lot more than 1 hour they had between my call at 4pm and call back I received at 5pm. I picked up my car under impression that issue was resolved, however as soon as I got on a road, I realized that absolutely nothing was done and car was still making that loud annoying squeaking noise. A week later I went for an oil change to my local non Chrysler mechanic and asked to find the squeaking issue as well. In under an hour I had my car back with everything done and squeaking noise gone. Noise was coming from a front brake pad springs, which had to be simply lubricated to eliminate the noise. Shame on you Chrysler of Freehold for providing such unprofessional approach and level of service for a vehicle that cost $60.000! More
