My Town and Country has had nothing but problems since year one, electrical issues mostly. So bad in fact that because they couldn't find the source of the issue for over a year they suggested I buy a new year one, electrical issues mostly. So bad in fact that because they couldn't find the source of the issue for over a year they suggested I buy a new one! Most recently I brought my vehicle in because I have felt my transmission slipping (of course they couldn't duplicate the issue). I asked that no work be done without calling me when I dropped off my car at 7:30 in the morning. When I called them at 3:30 they were just starting work on the vehicle and would call me back. When I called them back a couple of hours later they still were not done and now I had to leave my car again. Well this morning when I went to pick up my van I walked in without even my purse since I waived having work done on the one thing I was told would cost way too much. The cashier then told me I was being charged a diagnostic fee of $120. This cost was NEVER relayed to me, but yet was now magically on my paperwork. I am very detailed oriented person, particularly about my finances being a mom of 3. THIS COST WAS ADDED ON THE PAPERWORK AFTER I SIGNED AND LEFT! Now it was a he said she said situation and of course the service manger took his employee's word over mine the customer. The service coordinator for my service came over running down something he claims to say, all of which was unfamiliar. The service manger then said "my guys deserve to get paid". And I don't deserve not to be cheated!!! The guy runs through how many service check-ins in a day and messed one up and doesn't remember. I WOULD remember because a) I only did one service check in in months and b) I WOULD HAVE NOT SIGNED IT!! As I was late to work I needed to go, I paid the $127 (with taxes) asked for the regional manger's name and number, I was refused this information saying he would just talk to him. Alluding it would once again be he said she said and it was pointless. He gave me his card (thanks for nothing) More
I can't tell you how much better I feel reading these BAD reviews! I thought I was alone in this (although that seemed impossible now that I think about it). RUN from this dealership. They are horribl BAD reviews! I thought I was alone in this (although that seemed impossible now that I think about it). RUN from this dealership. They are horrible in all aspects. I dealt with Kenny on a random night that I brought my daughter in to buy a jeep. Ever since that moment it has been a disaster. The jeep was "pre-owned" and somehow he was able to persuade us into buying it, shame on us but she loved it so we went with it. When we went back to get the jeep the next day, mysteriously the original monthly payment went up by $50 per month, conveniently. Mind you this was AFTER we already signed and I co-signed for her. They also told us that we couldn't get out of the deal at that point and we had to deal with the payment being more than expected because of OUR credit issues. Why I continued at that point I will never know. With that, we were given ONE set of keys and promised the other set that week. We called, they blew us off. We called and called and were told the keys would be obtained from the "other" dealership and mailed to us. About a month later my daughter lost her set of keys and when we called the dealership - no one answered the phone (on a Saturday morning no less) and when they finally did, they played "which voicemail can we pass her to next"...it was ridiculous. Then, I told them that she was basically stranded in PA and can't get home without the keys and they told me "there is nothing we can do at this point, call a locksmith". Yeah - $250 later she had to have a new set of keys made. Now I wish it stopped there because no matter how much we harrassed them, they blew us off about the xxxx keys.....her jeep is basically falling apart (and is still under warranty) yet today she was told none of what is "breaking" is covered because it's her fault. It is just the most ridiculous, most unprofessional dealership with nasty people that play you and insult your intelligence at every turn. Again, RUN. Those stupid WOOHOO commercials on the radio need to stop too. Lies...ALL LIES I tell you. More

Terrible to deal with and extremely unprofessional in both sales and service. Like hungry dogs and meat. They are not truthful and lack follow-through. The employees have a way trying to make things t both sales and service. Like hungry dogs and meat. They are not truthful and lack follow-through. The employees have a way trying to make things the customer's fault. I bought 3 cars there in the past. Since the last purchase, it has really gotten worse. I recommend servicing your current chrysler/jeep at another dealership. I recently tried to buy another car there and the deal fell through because I would not sign--a result of more over-promising and my inability to be taken advantage of. More

I called the internet dept to price a Grand Cherokee and explained i was looking for a specific price. Being i was far away, if they could do it I would take the ride. We discussed every detail of the lea explained i was looking for a specific price. Being i was far away, if they could do it I would take the ride. We discussed every detail of the lease, as I am familiar with leasing for more than 15 years. After several return calls confirming they had the truck and the price was met, i paid them a visit. A salesman greeted me, totally disregarding the internet rep I came to see, despite my requesting to speak to her. He started all over again as if I never made a deal, but i insisted what deal i got and thats what i would only walk out of here with. He spoke to the manager, came back and said, the deal is good, lets do the paper work. He immediately called my insurance to add the truck, did all the necessary paperwork, and sent us to financing. It was obvious from the start that something was going wrong when I was signing a deal and no manager or internet person came out to even acknowledge me. In the financing room the rep made us sign all the paperwork, and saved the actual lease deal for last. Not to my surprise, they added 2800 of fees that were already discussed and confirmed to have been in the payment. While i know this is typical back in the day for dealers to do this crap, I was surprised that Freehold Jeep was desperate enough to actually pull this in 2013. The finance rep literally tried to play me for a fool and insist that i should know better than to buy a car and not pay taxes. When i flipped out and confronted him he ran to the managers (im sure it is routine) and not one of them had the nerve to come out and explain why they sent me in there and waisted a long trip and 3 hours there of my time when they knew they couldnt come through for me. Of course they blamed it on the internet rep who mysteriously "just went home". She didnt get the details correct they say, but we went back and forth 3 times on the phone to confirm every detail as she had to run it past the manager (who never once identified himself). As I tell people this story, I am learning that this is typical practice for this dealership and they have no quams about treating people this way, all they care about is making the most out of a deal and respect and integrity are no concern. My advice is to STAY CLEAR AWAY from this dealership. Make your best deal somewhere else and dont give them the satisfaction of showing any interrest. From what i heard, even if you get a decent deal, somewhere along the line you will be burned. Terrible, disrespectful, and completely ignorant in the way they treat people. Ironically, the salesperson, and the internet rep doesnt answer their phones or return calls, and never gave an explanation of the whole account. More
I went to Freehold Jeep optimistic of getting a certified Jeep (preferrably a Compass). I was directed to Bruce the "salesman". He immediately began taking my information and filling out his worksheet. Wh Jeep (preferrably a Compass). I was directed to Bruce the "salesman". He immediately began taking my information and filling out his worksheet. When it came to how much I had to put down, he was very aggressive and insistent on my putting something down. He was also pretty hung up on what I wanted my monthly payment to be. I told him I may end up paying cash for the car via a loan through my credit union. That concept seemed to escape him as he continued to dwell on down payments and monthly amounts. All this BEFORE he even showed me a car or asked what I was looking for. When I finally told him I was looking at the Compass, he said, and I quote, "What if I show you the Compass and you drive it, and you don't like it?". Seriously? You're a SALESMAN! Show me something ELSE! Now I have to tell you how to do your job too??? That just about did it for me...my wife and I got up and left and thanked him for his time (all 5 minutes of it). He then refused to shake my hand. As long as Freehold Jeep employs "salesman" like Bruce, I will not step foot on their lot. FYI...I bought a RAV4 Sport from DCH Toyota right NEXT DOOR and was 10000% happy and satisfied with the service there. More
I called the dealership to inquire about a used truck that I saw online. The internet sales person encouraged me to make an appt., which I did. Several days later I received a call from the dealership t that I saw online. The internet sales person encouraged me to make an appt., which I did. Several days later I received a call from the dealership to confirm our appt., as we were leaving to meet with them. A salesman met us in the parking lot and took us inside. It was a very cold windy day and there was no heat in the building. A heads-up would have been nice, as it was freezing inside. The salesman was very pleasant. He sat us at his desk and proceeded to try to locate the truck we had come to see. He told us it was at another location and they would bring it over. We went to the waiting room because it seemed warmer and waited for about 45 minutes. Finally the sales manager came and told us that the vehicle had been wholesaled out the day before I called to make the appt. He apologized to us and we asked if he could find out where it went, or if it went to another dealership. He said he would look into it and call us. We never heard from him either way. I received an e-mail from the dealership asking about our experience. I told this same story to them and never heard back from anyone. All in all, I am completely disgusted with the customer service at this dealership. They should make sure they have the vehicle in stock before they have someone waste time and money on a trip to their dealership. Someone could have taken a few minutes to call and tell us that they could not locate the vehicle after it was sold. Someone could have answered my email and at least acknowledged that they had made an error. Their commercials are a joke. It is no fun to shop at this dealership and apparently they don't care about you unless you buy a vehicle from them. More
