I got excuses and issues with no attempts for solutions until after I informed them I would give them an unfavorable survey and review. I will NEVER take my car here again. Sad because this used to be our preferred service location. It took 8 days to complete a job that took less than 4 hours. I paid $105 per day for a rental while they sat on their hands waiting for me to make phone calls to get parts and light fires to get things moving. No loaner. (I’m shocked, NOT!) They blamed warranty company and passed the buck until I completely lost my cool. NEVER AGAIN. I’ll try to fix my car myself before I take it here again. More
Do not do business here. I will spare everyone the long story and just hit the highlights. This ordeal lasted a total of 5 months. From January 2 until early May. Took truck in beginning of January for check engine light. Needed new lifters. Covered under warranty. Got truck back only to have it leaking oil. Took truck back only for them to tell me it was “residual left from maintenance” That was wrong. Took truck back again and they confirmed they messed up the job the first time. During this time of them having my truck, they left the keys in it and truck was stolen out of their lot and they had no idea. Truck was vandalized, smoked in and urinated in. Best they could do was “return the truck back to whole” which only turned out to be my truck still smelling like cigarettes and check engine light returning after having for a week. They were “looking for a replacement” but never found one. They weren’t looking very hard. I was passed around between 3 different “managers” My solution was they swap me for the loaner they had me in for what I owed on mine, but of course they wouldn’t do that because they would lose a little bit of money even though truck was stolen due to their negligence. After I stopped calling them every couple of days for an update on a replacement, they stopped reaching out to me hoping I would go away. I don’t have the money or time to take this to court, but I wish I could. Kyle Bettylion, Lee Craig, Wataski and Quintin Hood are all relatively useless when it comes to customer service. I got screwed. Don’t let it happen to you. More

With regards to the complaint I posted herein, about the $1,300+ alternator & the $200 cash deposit for the core I could not get back upon its return, please be advised of the following. I was contacted by Brian, who after reviewing the transaction, showed where a check had been issued, but had apparently been lost in transit. Brian not only offered to have another check issued that day, but further insisted he bring it to me personally, all the way out in Plano. Being a man of his word, within a few hours, Brian was in front of me, and payment was immediately rendered. Brain expressed the importance of customer satisfaction so far as he & Freedom Chevrolet are concerned. Offering to go above and beyond to make good on that fact, (see my full, updated review for all details on the Freedom Chevrolet home page on google). Dealer owes me $200. 00 on a core return, (for a $1,400.00 alternator), I paid cash for the part & cash deposit. When I brought the core back, (a 2.5hr round trip as THEY were the only dealer had it in stock), they refused to return my cash deposit, refused to issue a check, claimed I'd have to wait "a week or two"... We'll it's been over a month now, and all I've gotten from them is a runaround, transferring me around to full v/m boxes, leaving me on indefinite hold, or "dropping my call" all together. Either way, as a US Marine Corps Veteran, having tried to do honest business with "freedom Chevrolet", I feel I have no alternative, and am now compelled to pursue a cause of action to force the recovery of my legal and just refund, along with maximum allowable costs & expenses. Beware of these reviews, there are many "rip-off" stories, buried in the "glowing reviews" that attempt to overshadow them, (most of which all seem to read the same) ... If they will take a US Military Veteran for $200.00, what will they take you for??? I'm am not having it, Honor & Integrity... GET SOME freedom Chevrolet, try being the exception!!! More
I arrived at the dealership on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at approximately 10:28 AM when I left the dealership it was 1:56 PM in the afternoon. Cecil who was my service advisor gave me unprofessional service from the moment we started having a conversation. I said to him one of the other young man home with my service advisor the first time I was supposed to check something and apparently it didn’t get done he immediately asked if I wanted to get that young man because he wasn’t in the business of taking other peoples business. I asked what does that have to do with the problem that I’m having with my vehicle then he asked me to go outside to my vehicle retrieve the wheel lock from my glove box and put it in the cupholder. Upon arriving back into the dealership I talked to More about the issue I was having with my tire and Cecil stated it would be $25 to patch the tire if he could patch it as I stated to him it should’ve been done before so there shouldn’t be a charge he said I’m not going to fall out with you over a tire I’ll just patch it. To make a long story short I had to demand my truck I was kept in the dark until approximately 1:38 in the afternoon that my tire had a hole in the white wall of the tire which means I’m more than likely purchased a vehicle with a hole in the white wall. This place is horrible don’t waste your time or money here! More

It took them 7 days to make a diagnostic on the vehicle and after that kept the car an additional 3 days only to fix the coolant leak. They didn’t change the spark plugs or do the fuel system cleanup which they told me that they were going to do. It’s all good though. I took my car to Firestone and it took them 4 hours to do all that and at a cheaper price! Y’all better take heed to what I’m saying. More
