The sales process was great . .....BUT they LIE and Bai you to believe the service side is the reason why you should pay a little extra. Truth is the Service side is a waste! The .....BUT they LIE and Bai you to believe the service side is the reason why you should pay a little extra. Truth is the Service side is a waste! The agents who take the calls and schedule are rude, unaware of anything auto related and are just there to try to be an impediment. then yo get the next level who tells you that it is a sales issue not service and that they cannot respond to everyone's needs as they have limited recourse's (just so that you are aware the salesmen and his VP told me that Service always has loaners and that las minute calls are no issue for folks who buy here) LIE!!! and at that level they just hang up! then the Manager of service calls makes excuses for everyone says they don't report to him and that he is unaware of any and all issues with his department again a lie as I have had to call the GM for VW thee ties with three different issues related to service. The GM for VW calls and I tell him how could i trust the service department as they appear to retaliate against folks who complain about basic service. I am afraid they will enhance the bill make something wrong that isn't etc.... so now I was sold on the fact that local service was impeccable and easy yet reality is there is no service UNLESS you want to PAY for Executive service. STAY FAR AWAY. GO TO Martinos!!! More
Best way to describe my experience with Fred Beans is, I purchased a Pathfinder from another dealership. Mike was insulting and completely disrespectful. I left a review on another site, manager asked me to purchased a Pathfinder from another dealership. Mike was insulting and completely disrespectful. I left a review on another site, manager asked me to call him, even though he has my information already, and when I called, he didn’t answer or return my call. More
If I could give it 0 (zero) stars I would. First off, their service guy, I did not catch his name, but he is a sociopath, lying xxxxxxx. They Sold me car with useless warranties which I was First off, their service guy, I did not catch his name, but he is a sociopath, lying xxxxxxx. They Sold me car with useless warranties which I was able to reverse. They come across as all princeton educated, at first. Be careful, they are slimey as any other dealership. Once they sell you the car then the attitude changes to we can’t help you as is but you have 30 days and service can help you which they don’t cover anything. The entire process is a scam. When they are selling the car to you, it’s all fictions, make believe, lies. Do not trust a word of any type of warranty or coverage. Do not buy GAP or any other warranty. Read more about GAP coverage so you can find out the truth yourself, they do not honor the warranty when time comes and you better have all the receipts which all the work has to be done at a dealership (aka stealership) so you will be locked burning your $$$. If you repair cars yourself, too bad, they will not honor any warranty because you and I are idiots and do not know how to even put in a light bulb. Anyways back to the story. They sold me a sold me a 2015 Jetta SE with a crooked steering alignment which they said is within normal correction according to some state law and the car steering shakes at various speeds. I repair cars and can easilt tell you that the reason for the shakey steering can be one of the following reasons or more (something in the suspension ball joint etc... bad drive axle, or simply one of the rims is bent. I am sure this is going to cost me later. The problem is there is no major interstate there to test the car so they play that game that they don’t have the time to test it. That is what the sh*thead in service told me. Go somewhere else to buy a car or preferably from someone you know. They are dishonest like all the other dealerships (stealerships). I live too far, work full time, stuck like everyone else and I was unable to go back a second time for at least the shakey steering vibration at various speeds so they win the game of us keeping the defective sold car and I get to keep this junk ride. These xxxx sociopaths take advantage of us rabbit prey working people. I hope someone goes and does a terminator part I police station scene with all the coffees flying everywhere. I wish I went with a Honda or Toyota like I always have instead of this euro junk with lies. Mr. Fred Beans will be fried beans in xxxx, f**king $$$ worshipping xxxx, him and his staff. I am sure his fam has had terrible things happen to them randomly. Nature brings on sufferings in ways that we don't see. If you look around, yes, one can murder someone, look in the sky and say there is no god, but I am not going to tell you what happens, something happens because it is in our book when released, you can buy and read it then. All the xxxx that like to do crime legally or illegally, do and will pay the price. Most religions teach this if you are a reader and dig deep. It is okay, the price will be paid. Nothing is forgiven in the universe. F**K these people. For colored folkes, do not go here. It is like KKK town. Very unfriendly, low class, boonies, close minded, ghouls who are sadistic. Hope this helps and these MF's lose sales. More

Took my daughter there to buy her 1st car on her own (no co-signer). They over charged her $1,000 on the price, internet said $23,995, extended warranty she purchased said $23,995, but the deal said $24,995 co-signer). They over charged her $1,000 on the price, internet said $23,995, extended warranty she purchased said $23,995, but the deal said $24,995. I her do the deal, they low balled her trade in, literally to nothing, knowing we were already there over 2 hours, and she really wanted the car. They claimed they couldn't get her good financing because she had "lite" credit history, a lie, we pulled her credit report, also, she applied to cap one and got 2 points lower. Absolutely horrible experience, they lie, they cheat and they take advantage. More
I had a wonderful experience at Fred Beans VW. I traveled from out of state to purchase a used vehicle. The dealership picked me up from Philly and the transaction at the dealership was smooth and friendly. from out of state to purchase a used vehicle. Awful! Purchased an 18 Silverado with 44,000 miles on it and have already spent almost $1500 on tires and now starter replacement. The truck was inspected the same day it was purchased!! How do tires pass o and have already spent almost $1500 on tires and now starter replacement. The truck was inspected the same day it was purchased!! How do tires pass on 4/6 and are completely shot by 6/17??? Luckily my husband noticed the shredded inside walls on the tires before it could cause harm to anyone. The mechanic should not being inspecting vehicles, the laws have clearly stated rules about dry rot on tires. Today less than 2 weeks after paying for new tires it had to be towed because the starter went. Again, they will not be helping us in anyway, because we didn’t purchase the extended warranty. Larry told me these things could happen at anytime. Apparently, dry rotted tires just happen out of no where. I will never go there again!! More
Uneven experience. Sale went smoothly, but then discovered a patched hole in passenger seat on a brand new car that the salesman covered as he was sitting on it. To give some credit, that finally g discovered a patched hole in passenger seat on a brand new car that the salesman covered as he was sitting on it. To give some credit, that finally got resolved. Then, it turned out the sunshade was ripped and wouldn’t close. Warranty covered that, but it wasn’t demoed during the sale. Were they hiding that, too? Then, we asked for a delivery invoice so we could arrange (on our own) for a warranty repair on a failed promo item that was part of the sale. We couldn’t get it repaired without a proof of purchase, and they would not respond to numerous calls and emails. Beware of declining customer service and unresponsive staff. Very disappointing. More
Excellent Experience When Purchasing a New Vehicle I am taking the time to write an excellent review of Fred Beans Volkswagen of Doylestown--notably Marty Sholly (Manager) and Nick Cordenner (Sales Con I am taking the time to write an excellent review of Fred Beans Volkswagen of Doylestown--notably Marty Sholly (Manager) and Nick Cordenner (Sales Consultant). We participated in the end of the year quest to sell 3000 vehicles, and expected to get a great deal--but we got a deal far better than expected, with the most professional and patient service possible. The entire staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The show room was neat and showed off three gorgeous vehicles (one of which, we bought). Although it does take time to select, test drive and buy a new car, Mr. Sholly and Mr. Cordenner made the experience fun and even delightful. I would not hesitate to go back. Thank you very much!
