Unpleasant. Not honored written email price quote. We requested pricing information on the listed vehicle we are interested and got few emails both from Customer Relations staff and sales agents. Sales We requested pricing information on the listed vehicle we are interested and got few emails both from Customer Relations staff and sales agents. Sales agent sent us memorial day special price by email but did not honor his own price. Upon insisting he sent email to himself and showed to us that he informed and says a price mistake. 5K difference is not a price mistake on a keyboard to make a mistake. He or this facility lied and mislead customers to come to their facility. I would not recommend this dealer as they are not honest in their own written email price quotes on advertised used vehicles. All interested customers think several times before making a visit to this dealership. There are several honest people elsewhere. More

From giving me a great dollar back on my trade in to working with my budget, they nailed it. Our salesman nick not only worked with us the entire step of the way, but also introduced us to everyone from sales to service. I definitely feel comfortable using them for all of my future service needs, and hopefully getting my wife in Grand Cherokee one day in the near future. Highly recommended by me! All started well at the dealer until we went to sign the papers. Yanni printed out the lease contract and it was $20 more a month than what was agreed upon. He tried to breeze over it but luckily I caught it. He somehow was able to fix it in 30 seconds, made some excuse in the process, and the price was back to what was agreed upon. Strike 1. Over a month later, the dealer reached out to me and stated that paperwork was missing and the lease company didn't fund the deal. I faxed back the info in 40 mins... still had nothing from the lease company 2 months after purchasing the car. Call Yanni and emailed him twice, no response. Strike 2. Then in the end of June, 3 months after we leased the car, the dealer called and said the deal was short funded from the lease company I owed them money. If I didn't pay they were going to turn me into a collection agency. Strike 3. Stay away from this place as they will get you in the end. More

FEB 3, 11:00am appointment: Diagnosis performed revealed bad torsion bar on front right. Item not in stock, ordered for overnight delivery and appointment made for 8:am Feb 4th. FEB 4, 8:00am appointment: Waited at dealership. At 10:45am I checked on progress. Service Desk was about to come inform me that after dismantling whatever was necessary to install the new torsion bar, when the replacement box was opened they found the wrong item had been ordered. Now everything had to be reinstalled....with the faulty component. Made appointment for 8:00am Feb 6th. I was assured that all Service Department staff working on Feb 6th were made aware of my case and that I needed the car for a week long out-of-town trip starting Feb 7th. FEB 6, 8:00am appointment: Informed at check-in that I was number 13 in-line and it was doubtful the car would be finished that day!! There no Service Managerial Staff around. FEB 6, 11:39am: Needless to say, I'll not be making this 58 mile round trip to Fred Beans ever again. More

I purchased a 2004 Ford Explorer that was suppose to had been checked out by them and they did a state inspection at their dealership before I purchased it. The front brakes ground into the rotors after 2000 miles, there was three quarts more oil in it than what should had been and a few months after the timing chain blew making the truck useless. Purchase price $6000.00 plus fees and taxes we paid out in the $7000.00 range. Just sold it for $800.00. That works out ton$6000.00 plus to drive about 8000 miles. Do yourself a favor, buy elsewhere. The only plus was the salesman tried to help make this right but got no where either. More

Huge disappointment for such a big name dealership. Our experience with Fred Beans is an awful one. Our car was in an accident and the dealership that we took it to to get fix used Fred Beans as their parts dealer. Our van needed a new wiring harness and Fred Bean's supplied the part to the dealership that we took our van to. When we got the car back the first time, all seemed ok. Then we found some issues with the car, for example my four ways were not working. Big problem when I drive a mini-van with my three children in it! We called the dealership where we had originally taken the car to let them know of the problems that we had found. We had to take the car back to them so they could take a look to see what was wrong. Found out it was the wiring harness that was causing the problem. They called this dealership, Fred Beans, and they did NOTHING. It finally took myself to call Fred Beans to get another wiring harness sent to the dealership. When we finally got the call that the wiring harness had arrived we had to take the car back to the dealership to get the new harness put in. Now keep in mind, to put a new wiring harness in take a week, if not more, to complete. We are on our second harness. When the work was complete, for the second time, guess what? Still not working. Fred Beans had agreed to take the car to their dealership to work on it and have a Chrysler Rep come out and look at it. Well we were told they fixed the problem and all should be working now, what they "fixed" we had no idea. When we got the car back from Fred Beans, the car was NOT FIXED and there was wiring hanging out of the car in the backseat, where my children would sit. So we called Fred Beans and told them this. We were assured that the person working on the car test drove the car 50 times and it worked. He also said he didn't understand how wires were out because he went through it. Well I have pictures to prove it! They got the car back and agreed with us that it did not work . Finally after 6 months of dealing with this company my van is working. I am crossing my fingers every day that nothing happens to this car while my family and I are in it. I do not feel safe one bit driving this van. More
They came to my work took my truck looked at it. After a week of voice mail and we are too busey to talk to you. I went to the dealer and and walked around for about half an hour before someone asked me if week of voice mail and we are too busey to talk to you. I went to the dealer and and walked around for about half an hour before someone asked me if I need any help! Then I got old sales tricks played on me. If the truck did not have an 8' bed we would offer you more money. Then they gave me the cost. Too high so the salesman went and had a meeting to get the price lowered. Second fake trick! They knew the price why play this game? After a week of no phone calls from the salesman that night I got a call. You need to put $500 down with your credit card on the jeep now. Beware of Old Cheap Sales Tricks. Thank you Keystone Volvo 2014 XC-90. More
Fred Beans had two vehicles exactly as I’d like and to make it more enticing they had a price of $33,400 slashed out on their website on the vehicles with $35k or $36k MSRPs with a ‘get EPrice’ button bel make it more enticing they had a price of $33,400 slashed out on their website on the vehicles with $35k or $36k MSRPs with a ‘get EPrice’ button below the slashed out price. I contacted them and eventually dealt with a man by the name of William 'Bill' Kolar. When I asked if the advertised price included any rebates that you had to qualify for he told me that ‘sometimes that may be the case, but he’ll have to get back to me.’ Later that evening he emailed me that the price was in fact including qualifiers and my price would be $34,486. I responded for him to call me early next week when he had a solid price that I’d requested on painting the black Freedom Top. Over the weekend I received a call from a manager at Fred Beans to check on everything. I told him that I didn’t appreciate the way they ran their business, that it was unethical and they were borderline skirting PA advertising laws. He responded that he was sorry I felt that way and, after telling him I was from out of state, that if I came down right that instant he’d honor the web deal. I HATE that - do not give me a deadline, do not ask how you can earn my business TODAY - you’ll earn my business when I’m ready to give you my business. This is another thing domestic dealerships don’t seem to get(except Tesla, but they’re rock stars in automotive retail). I told him they’d need to do a lot better than that as it’d be next to impossible for such an unethical place to ever see a dime of my money, especially after they tried to bully me into a deal. More
I own a Chrystler, purchased at a different dealership. I've gone to Fred Bean's dealerships in the past for service and they had done a satisfactory job. Keep in mind, the only reason I went with Beans I've gone to Fred Bean's dealerships in the past for service and they had done a satisfactory job. Keep in mind, the only reason I went with Beans to get my tires on is because I needed my oil changed (purchased the "4 for $75" oil change deal). I first contacted Beans on a Thursday. After calling in the morning and not receiving a call back, I tried again around mid-day. The secretary informed me they would give me a call back as soon as possible, as they were "really busy" that day. Fair enough, I waited another five hours without a call back. I decided to call back and finally had an appointment set for Monday, pending the tires being delivered. I purchased two tires (after comparing prices with a competitor, Bean's was about $100 more per). The service associate informed me it would take approximately an hour and a half to get the tires on and change the oil, etc. Two hours go by without a call back, so I made a call to the same service assistant who informed me that not only was the job not complete but that the tires hadn't even been DELIVERED to the dealership yet. It's one thing that there was a "mistake" in ordering the tires but to not inform the customer as soon as your realized the error is pathetic. Furious, I waited another two hours with no call back. Same story, dialed up the dealership and again was informed me that the work wasn't complete but that it would be done within the hour as the tires had been delivered. Wait an hour, no callback. At that point I went in to the dealership with the intentions to take my car whether it was done or not. After waiting 15 minutes to be helped I was given my keys and directed to the front parking lot to pick up my car. It was no where to be seen, I then walked back in to the service center. After waiting at one of the service desks without being helped I stormed out and found the car myself in the back lot. Not that this is a huge deal, but it basically summed up my experience at Beans. Don't get me wrong, the people at the dealership were and always have been relatively friendly. But as for professionalism? Fred Beans Dodge is the worst dealership I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Waiting a whole day without a call back to make an appointment? Waiting five hours for work that could be done in as less as one? Ridiculous. Although I do still have one oil change left I have no intentions of EVER going back to this dealership for ANYTHING. You would think that in such tough economic times there would be a little more urgency from Beans to satisfy their customers in the fastest possible time. There's too many fine dealerships in the greater Philly area to wasted your time and money at Fred Beans Dodge Chrysler Jeep. More
