I purchased a 2011 MDX from Frank Leta Acura. I was looking for a SUV for myself and my girlfriend to take road trips in. I never thought I would be able to get into a vehicle that was in such great sh looking for a SUV for myself and my girlfriend to take road trips in. No one person is in charge. I purchased a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder from them on December 9th. Really the agreement was signed on Dec 1st. Here it is Christmas and I still do not have a title so I can register in my name. Frank Leta Acura inessence sold me a car when they did not have a marketable title with which to sell me the car. They also promised in the sales agreement to fix the windshield that had a chip in it that was starting to spider into longer cracks. The agreement was “Fix or replace if the were unable to fix. Now Jeff, one of their sales managers told me that true, they were unable to fix it but since he did not say he would replace it, Frank Leta Acura is not going to replace it. Buy a car there you will be passed from one salesman to another. Sam, the one salesperson that that wrote up the sales agreement took off and only communicated via text message where he deferred to someone else. All in all from the time I first looked at the car I had to deal with as many as 7 people. Even if they are going to sell you a car at a never been heard of good price, run don’t walk from Frank Leta Acura. Sales persons there are unethical, devious unprofessional dissapointing liars. Promise you everything but in the end give you nothing. It’s not Bait and Switch it’s it is pure deceit. No title register for over 25 days now and a cracked windshield they refuse to replace even though it is written in the sales contract. Typically I would rather have an infected molar pulled without novocaine than to deal with a Dealer and this sale is just the reason why. Never live up to their word. More
I worked with Sam as my salesman. Nicolette worked on the internet side of things to answer questions and set an appointment for me in the store. This was the worst car buying experience I have ever experienced. Not being told that it is a requirement to have my financing done by their dealership after being pre-approved through my Credit Union w experienced. Not being told that it is a requirement to have my financing done by their dealership after being pre-approved through my Credit Union with a great rate, was down right shady. I did entertain their financing for their benefit and the rate couldn't be matched. In my experience if you are to benefit as a dealership from the financing of your choice, than do more in that deal for your customer. Shame of you guys for that. Only eating the difference in the interest rate doesn't go for enough in earning the business. This was a waste of time and I now have several hard inquiries on my credit report, which will impact my rates goung forward. Never again will I as a consumer go through that for a vehicle or anything for that matter. Bad Business practice!!!! You want to make money on both ends of the deal, not good for business and I hope that the customers wake up to this practice of steering. I believe it is unethical!!! More
