Bought a 2019 suburban from them at the end of April 2022. I told them I had to have a very dependable vehicle since I travel for a living. What I got was a xxx! Transmission is now gone, in the middle of a long trip the car left me stranded! Of course fluids were changed at the dealership so if there were metal shavings they won’t tell you. Sales manager was rude and pretty much said “well you have the warranty you bought” xxx! I haven’t even made the first payment and it’s broke down! Salesman was rude! Never ever buy from this dealership! They do not care about anything but themselves! I will be reporting to the BBB More
I would never recommend this place to anyone. Bought a 100chevy Silverado from them and 6 months later my transmission went out. Had a mechanic look at it and he said the metal shaving in pan had been there for quite awhile. So now I have a truck sitting in my driveway that I'm paying for because they can't even look a truck over or they knew it was that way and sold it anyways. Either way they will never get my business again and hopefully no one else goes there. More
Terrible and HORRIBLE! I was told that my 2019 Toyota Tacoma 4x4's service warranty for 2 years (24 months) and full warranty for bumper to bumper for 3 years (36 months) b I was told that my 2019 Toyota Tacoma 4x4's service warranty for 2 years (24 months) and full warranty for bumper to bumper for 3 years (36 months) by the sales people and manager. I found out the truth about the lies. When the black plastic at the bottom of the outside rearview mirror on the driver's side fell and when I noticed it was gone, I took it to Fowler Toyota Tulsa and was told by the service manager that it's not covered under the "BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY" and no communication with the sales people or sales manager. HOW PATHETIC and RIDICUOULS! The service manager gave me Toyota's factory number and I have to call it to explain the situation and to get the warranty BUT no Fowler Toyota Tulsa's employees would do the calling for me. Now it's Thursday, May 19, 2022, one of the wipers is not working in wiping waters on the front windshield and the other side is about to be worn out. I called in to speak to one of the advisors or the service manager and an advisor who I spoke to on the phone said: "The wipers are considered 'maintenance' and ONLY warranty for 12 months." Wow! WHAT THE HECK! Why are the sales people have to training in sales and just say ANYTHING THEY WANT? HOW PATHETIC! IT'S TOTALLY RIDICULOUS and absurd not warrantying or back up what the sales people said! Furthermore, the sales people and sales manager had tried to convince me to buy more service and parts warranty for 7 years or 45K miles. I WAS NOT CONVINCED bc I'D FOUND OUT LOTS OF LIES BY OTHER LOCAL TOYOTA DEALERS BEFORE. I'm glad I made the right decision not to buy more service and parts warranty otherwise I'd be in the RED FLAG area for 7 years and get NOTHING for my extended warranties! My BEST recommendation is GO SOMEWHERE ELSE if you're going to buy any kind of Toyota cars, pick trucks, or vans from Fowler Toyota Tulsa. I didn't pay much close attention to the reviews and kinda feel SORRY after the situations have scalated! More
Fowler Toyota service center is a disaster and I wouldn't take my roller skates to this place for repair. A simple tire balance job turned into the service tech having to take my truck back into the shop for take my roller skates to this place for repair. A simple tire balance job turned into the service tech having to take my truck back into the shop for rework after it was initially finished because there was a major disconnect on what needed to be done. Then they tried to charge me double the amount I was initially quoted, stripped one of my socket head screws for my center cap, scratched and scuffed my wheels in numerous places and left the old sticky tire weight adhesive all over my wheels that I had to wash off myself. I was so disappointed in every aspect of my visit to this dealership I called back and spoke to the service drive manger. He asked me to send him a text of some pictures and a description of what had happened so he could review. I never heard back from him so I called a few days later to see what they were going to do to make things right. He told me that he was going to have the other service manager call me to discuss. Its been almost a week and I have still never heard a word from them and my truck still has vibration in the front tires. In short the whole experience was unprofessional, inadequate, unsatisfactory and a complete fail and I will never set foot in this place again. 05/06/21 - Update: The service manager at Fowler Toyota has reached out to me and has addressed the situation and apologized for the mishap. He was polite, honest and above all sincere about what had happened and I appreciate someone who will take on a difficult situation and handle it in a professional and responsible manner. Thanks Matt More
I dropped my Tacoma off on the 18th of March to get it worked on and picked it up on the 1st of April. Opened my center console to see that my $1200 handgun had been stolen out of my vehicle while in thei worked on and picked it up on the 1st of April. Opened my center console to see that my $1200 handgun had been stolen out of my vehicle while in their possession. So either they left my truck unlocked while sitting outside or one of the employees stole it while it was in the garage. Either way, they had no interest in doing the right thing and covering the loss or at least paying the deductible for an insurance claim. They also informed me that multiple thefts had occurred in the last few days. So if you want a dealership that values your property or values doing what’s right when it’s tampered with while in their possession, DO NOT take your vehicle to Fowler Toyota. More
Had worst service experience with this dealer. Had vehicle towed to their shop and left to be checked out. After 24 hrs. had not heard from them so i called to see if they had diagnosed the vehicle. vehicle towed to their shop and left to be checked out. Sadly I am currently getting legal counsel about getting my warranty remainder back from fowler. My original experience getting a new vehicle from fowler was decent at best but my experience at Jim Norton T my warranty remainder back from fowler. My original experience getting a new vehicle from fowler was decent at best but my experience at Jim Norton Toyota has been far superior and I should have went there in the first place. I have dropped off all necessary paperwork for my refund and nobody at fowler will speak to me. I hate getting attorneys involved but I have no other options at this point. More

Time wasters. 100%.I was the only person in the Time wasters. 100%. I was the only person in the showroom - outside of service and parts customers, I had the entire dealership to myself. NOBO Time wasters. 100%. I was the only person in the showroom - outside of service and parts customers, I had the entire dealership to myself. NOBODY else was there to buy or trade a vehicle. This should have been my first huge red flag but at the time I took it as an opportunity to be the focus of attention. Capitalize on me folks. Wow was I wrong. Each time the sales person (Jessica) went to "get numbers", it was 10, 15, pushing 20 minutes. In the sales manager office the guys were watching car racing on their computers. They weren't even trying to hide it. Nobody there seemed to have any interest whatsoever in selling cars. Don't get me wrong, I like car racing and I sometimes goof off at work when its slow. But holy cow, these guys take it to the next level Maybe if car racing had some kind of a TV time out, or a halftime, they could have pulled away to you know, worked. Unfortunately this race had no yellow flags. Other sales people were mostly eating at their desk, standing by the window waiting for a customer to pull up, or what I saw most: on their cell phones. Maybe they were texting/emailing online customer sales leads. Possible. Also possible they were just surfing the internet, gaming, messaging buddies, who knows. They don't work for me so I don't care, and the bosses were watching the races anyway and they obviously didn't care either. If they are commission based sales people (which I think they likely are) they decide their own destiny, but I am just trying to get across my point that the management is sound asleep at the wheel here. I've bought a lot of cars in my time. A lot, I am older, I had several children who each drive and I help multiple relatives - I am the official family go-to guy for most things automotive -- buying, selling, repairs, etc. I know the dealership sales games. Its a dance, I get it. I've had good sales people, I've had complete con artists and everything in between, no matter the brand, new or used, in Tulsa, in OKC, in Nevada, Ohio, Florida and likely on Pluto if there is a used space ship lot there -- enough said. Fowler Toyota of Tulsa is just another dot on a very large map, lets not kid each other here. I called Fowler to ask about a certain new vehicle their website showed. A certain vehicle, so a specific model, a certain model year, an exact color, very particular options and a specific MSRP. In other words I wasn't there to maybe test drive multiple Camrys, possibly kick some Corolla tires, consider a Tundra or 2 two, mull-over a Tacoma -- I was there for one particular VIN and NOTHING ELSE, and I could not have stressed this enough. I was shopping vehicle, not payment, not terms, not trade value. They showed to have the exact vehicle I wanted, which was my only reason to ever make the drive there. That said, no shocker but the vehicle my salesperson Jessica and the Fowl'r website specifically said was available was.... not there when I arrived to the ghost town showroom. Sold. Gone. Stolen? Who knows. And I wish she hadn't told me this, but she did, it was "sold about a month ago". Seriously? Its still on their website today, 2 days later, I kid you not. Jessica told me when I initially called their number she was "looking right at it". I assumed (I can spell assume, so I already know) that when she said she was "looking right at it" that she meant physically, sitting on row 3 in slot 12, between a red one and a blue one, on the asphalt under the bright Oklahoma sun. Nope. She was using the same junk website I was, Fowl'r.com, probably on her cell phone. Evidently I failed to ask her to lay hands on it, which is 100% on me. Pro tip of the day, always call the salesperson on their mobile phone, ask that they get the keys and stand next to the vehicle because you want to hear the horn honk over the phone. I said enough. I said too much. My point - I had a specific vehicle I wanted. Fowl'r showed it. Fouler didn't have it. They had to the opportunity to source an identical twin and sell it to me, and they didn't want to. But... I bought exactly what I wanted. Over the phone from a Toyota dealer in Midland, TX. 516 miles from Tulsa. My new Toyota will be here late Thursday on a trailer and I will take delivery in a hotel parking lot. Its a bit strange but I am excited about it. I've never been to Midland TX. Its in far west Texas, the guy says they are close to Odessa, like I know where that is, right? I've only been to the Dallas area a few times. That dealership actually wanted to sell the vehicle. I got the exact deal that I was wanting to make with Fowl, so my expectations were clearly reasonable. So reasonable that I left enough meat on the bone that Toyota of Midland is able to pay a driver to drive 1,000 miles round trip, hotel, food, gas, all in order to get me MY vehicle. Holy cow, Fouler, did you miss the boat. Some positives are in order. Dealership is nice. Its not Jim Norton fancy, but its clean and accommodating, and lets face it, somebody has to pay the overhead for the gigantic water falls and show room elevator at Norton. Fowler was clean and organized. The lot was neat with no empty slots. I give the credit to a lot porter who works hard, keeping vehicles strait, spaced, color balanced, in order which is something most people take for granted.. Color selection is typical for Toyota, about 12 shades of neutral. Landscaping was nice and no trash on the lot. I walked by the parts and service area a few times - friendly folks, and again, clean and organized. Great restrooms. The building shows its age a little, from a water damaged showroom ceiling to leather (vinyl on a good day) chairs that were about to fall apart. Again I said a lot. I did notice where Fowler comments on positive reviews, but seems afraid or embarrassed to comment on 1 and 2 star ones. Why is that? I am not looking to argue or be negative. I gave you guys a chance to sell a vehicle. You failed once, twice, then three times, and you shouldn't have. Not only did you waste my time, but you wasted your own dealing with me. And for that reason, I'll continue to use and recommend Jim Norton in Tulsa, and, yikes, Toyota of Midland Tx for anyone wanting to buy over the phone. More
