The staff was so friendly starting from the first phone call I received! I walked right in and all I had to do is pick out the color of the car I wanted because they had already approved me for my loan be call I received! I walked right in and all I had to do is pick out the color of the car I wanted because they had already approved me for my loan before I walked into the car lot for the first time! We worked with Zack Vance who is so friendly and new exactly what car would fit my budget! Anyone could afford a new Kia and no one can beat the warranty that Kia provides! I told them I needed a new car by the weekend and they made sure that I got a new car! More
Call up to get qualified for the promotion I heard on the radio that said, $79 down and a month also they accept less then perfect credit and that they would pay off your trade no matter how much you owe. We radio that said, $79 down and a month also they accept less then perfect credit and that they would pay off your trade no matter how much you owe. Well. Customer service guy was telling me I would need a Co signer and I would have to make a big down payment and they wouldn't take in my trade because i owe to much I told them what about what the radio ad said and all he said was I I will call you back on that. They never called back. They make ads for the radio that are not true. Lame More
Brought my car in to get an estimation and sell. They offered me the price and I agreed with signed paper. They stated that they could not give me the check because the accountant/cashier is closed after offered me the price and I agreed with signed paper. They stated that they could not give me the check because the accountant/cashier is closed after 3pm. I need to go back and pick up the check next day. I agreed as well. I left the car in the dealer shop. Next day, I called. They stated that they lower the price of my car for $500 because they did not see the damage of the car. This is BS!!! Then, what did they estimate my car for before they offer a buying price. I have written document with the price they offered and VIN number and all the information on it. They anyway lowered the price. They stated I can either accept the price for 500 less or take my car back. They tried to push around between sales and manager. The sales stated their manager did not agreed the price he offered to me. But that is not my problem. You offered the price and I agreed with written document. period. It is totally ripped off. More
I am unbelievably disgusted with my experience at Fort Wayne Toyota. I purchased a car from a pleasant salesman who treated me well and promised me that I was getting a great car at an even better price. Wayne Toyota. I purchased a car from a pleasant salesman who treated me well and promised me that I was getting a great car at an even better price. He showed me an invoice detailing the service work they performed on the car and said that Fort Wayne Toyota has the best and most thorough service department in the area. As soon as I drove the car off of the lot the Low Tire Pressure light came on and once I hit 70 miles per hour on the interstate the car was shaking. I assumed that the tires were low so I stopped in at a local tire shop. Rather than low tires, each one was pumped up to 40 PSI when they should have been at 32 PSI. Once the problem was corrected the car quit shaking but the low tire light would not turn off. I returned to the dealer and explained the situation and they told me that the service department was currently closed and to come back the following day. The salesman who sold me the car said to call him on his cell in the morning and he would get it all worked out. Well the next morning I called the salesman's cell phone and did not get an answer. I left a message and headed to the dealership anyway. A man (I don't know his name or title) took my car to the service department and returned shortly telling me the problem was fixed. I asked him how they fixed it and he said they put air in the tires. I explained that I had the tires checked the day before and that they did not need air. He told me to wait and went back to check with the service department to see what they did. He came back out and told me that they simply reset the sensor. I asked, "Does this mean I have a bad sensor because the light was off yesterday and came on as soon as I drove off the lot so what do I do if it comes back on as soon as I drive off again?" I thought that was a pretty simple and logical question but rather than answer it the man told me over and over that I didn't buy the car yesterday. He then told me that I was lying because the service department wasn't open yesterday. When I asked him to just hear me out and listen to what I was trying to explain to him he turned his back to me and started playing with the television while I was talking. At that point I asked for the manager who quite frankly stated that he didn't hear the conversation that my car was fixed and so I was “done”. I was extremely frustrated and when I tried to explain the service man's rude demeanor I was told, "Well I can see why he was rude we fixed your car and it’s time for you to go." I asked if by contacting a lawyer I would be able to return the car because honestly I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my life. His voice escalated and he told me “go, go call your lawyer, call your lawyer right now, go do it.” I’m still in a state of shock; I completely regret giving that dealership a dime of my money. I left and spoke to other car salesmen in the area and was told that quite simply, my story just described the caliber of the salesmen throughout the entire Bob Rohrman organization. Lesson learned, I will steer clear of all Bob Rohrman dealerships from now on for both sales and service. More
In the past my husband and I have dreaded looking for new/used vehicles because nothing ever seems to go as smooth as we had planned. We had been searching for a very specific 4 Runner for weeks and we new/used vehicles because nothing ever seems to go as smooth as we had planned. We had been searching for a very specific 4 Runner for weeks and we saw the one listed at this dealership and immediately called. We initially spoke to Chad, who was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Since we live over 2 hours from the dealership, we were anticipating a horrible experience before we even called. We were pre-approved within minutes after calling. Dave in finance was also incredibly helpful and an expert in getting us approved for our loan. Within a VERY short time we were on our way up to the dealership to pick up the 4 Runner and head home. We were AMAZED at the simplicity of this process. Mike (who was also very professional and helpful) and Dave waited for us to get there (pretty late) and had all of the paperwork ready. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. We have NEVER experienced such a pleasant car buying situation. They did not put us on the back burner once. They treated us like they truly valued our business. Not only would I recommend this dealership, I would be more than willing to drive over two hours again, just so we can give them our business!!! Great job guys. More
James was a down to earth kind of man that knew you did not want a piece of junk which is more than I can say for a lot of the other dealers I have seen in the past week. I know it is tax time and it is ha not want a piece of junk which is more than I can say for a lot of the other dealers I have seen in the past week. I know it is tax time and it is hard to come by a great car for a great price but, we found one thanks to James !! I would recommend anyone to go see James for any new or used car needs. He knows what he is talking about and he is very personable. I am the type of person that does not want someone to kiss my rear just so I will buy a car. He did not pressure us into purchasing any of the cars we drove he simply rode along and listened to what we had to say about it. I THANK-YOU so very much James for being such an amazing sales person !! More
While I helped my wife in negotiating a deal on a used car on Monday, Feb.13, 2012, we were both satisfied with the final terms of our deal and it was sealed with a handshake from the salesperson. The te car on Monday, Feb.13, 2012, we were both satisfied with the final terms of our deal and it was sealed with a handshake from the salesperson. The terms were very simple in that we all agreed upon a cash purchase price of $12,400.00 (tax, title, and all other charges included). Other stipulations of the deal were that the existing 3 month warranty would be extended to six months, and some minor repairs were to be done under the hood (specifically some fasteners were to be installed). That's it. Those were the simple terms. Upon meeting with your associate in the business office and finalizing the legal points of the deal, we were presented with only a three month warranty. We objected and said that the terms of our deal were that we would have a six month warranty. The salesperson was summoned and he said he could not give us a six month warranty and said that the sales manager would not agree to it either. After a brief and heated discussion among sales, finance, and ourselves, it was then concluded that we would take ownership of the car for an out-the-door price of $11,800.00, with no implied warranty at all. We liked the car and we also liked the final price, but we did not like that this entire deal was re-negotiated in the business office of your dealership. We got caught in a classic bait-and-switch scenario and shame on us for allowing it to happen. We like the car but we hope that there are no mechanical issues that would make us further regret doing business with you all. We believe that the lack of integrity shown by the salesperson and especially the sales manager who did not even show his presence while we were there are sufficient criterion for us to express to others NOT to deal with your company. Our family was not sure if we could afford a new minivan or not. We were very happily surprised by the affordability of the 2012 Sedona. Even more so, we were impressed by the salesman who helped us. Cha or not. We were very happily surprised by the affordability of the 2012 Sedona. Even more so, we were impressed by the salesman who helped us. Chad Witte was always very straightforward, honest and clear with us. He did not play games. He gave us more for our trade than we even dared to hope. He made it possible for us to drive home with a new van. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is leery of car salesmen. He is someone you can feel confident working with. He will also fight to get you a fair and affordable purchase. More
In February of 2011, I bought a 2011 Kia Soul (great car). When I went to the dealer to look at the vehicle I was met by Steve Alten (not sure of the spelling, he said that he was new and didn't yet hav car). When I went to the dealer to look at the vehicle I was met by Steve Alten (not sure of the spelling, he said that he was new and didn't yet have a business card). They didn't have exactly what I was looking for, however, Steve and I found an acceptable model and he suggested that we take it for a test drive. On the test drive, and without prompting from me, Steve told me that he had been in car sales for years but that he had just started at Ft. Wayne KIA. Steve told me that he was reluctent to take the job with KIA as the Bob Rohrman chain of dealerships have such a poor customer service reputation. I found this conversation kind of odd, however, we worked out what a felt was an acceptable deal and I bought the car. Steve showed me very few of the features and suggested that I take the car home and he would call me in a couple of weeks to make sure that he answered any questions that I might have. I haven't heard from him to this day. I had to visit the dealership twice before they finally paid off the vehicle that I traded in; as when I called to check on it. Dave in finance would never pick up the phone. I never received any communication from this dealer until mid October when the KIA corporation sent me a letter welcoming me to the KIA family. This past week I had a need to take the vehicle in for service; the horn only works part time. After waiting an hour and a half, I was told that the car needs a new horn and that one had been ordered. I was told that I would be called as soon as it arrived so that I could schedule an appointment to have it installed. I just called the dealership to check on the part since I didn't hear anything from them; I was told that indeed the part was there (I guess they just didn't have time to call and tell me). I know other people in my office who have had similar problems with this dealership and the one thing that we all seem to agree on is that none of us will buy our next vehicle from any of the Bob Rohrman family of dealerships.
