I traded in my 2003 dodge Dakota for a 2005 dodge Ram 1500. I bought the truck in the evening after dinner, attempted to drive it straight down the interstate to my home. It broke down in a road construction area several miles from my home. A police office had to park behind the truck to protect us from being hit because we couldn't get off the side of the road due to construction. The office and I stood on the upper side of the ditch to avoid being hit. We towed the vehicle to a local parking lot. It was then towed to a dealership in Morton for repair. After a week of being jerked around by Finish Line Ford, I was told that the vehicle that never made it to my drive was shot and the engine was blown. $5,100 to fix, then Finish Line Ford refused to take my calls. When I went to the dealership after now being without a vehicle for a week and being jerked around, I am being told it isn't their issue. I WOULD TELL ANYONE AND EVERYONE........AND I PLAN TO......RUN LIKE xxxx AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. More
Took my Ford explorer in for the fuel pump recall, had to order part. I needed the vehicle so I went to pick it up. There was 5 - 6 employee's standing around talking gossip not bussiness, I stood there for order part. I needed the vehicle so I went to pick it up. There was 5 - 6 employee's standing around talking gossip not bussiness, I stood there for at least 7 - 8 min. along with an elderly lady. I had to break up their conversation to inquire about my vehicle, took them another 5 -10 min to figure what was going on then they just handed me the keys and said it was out the door to the left in back lot. I am a recent amputee just learning to walk with the aid of a cane, I have never been to a dealership that did not bring your car to you at the service desk.....FINISH LINE FORD in Peoria Illinois is the WORST dealership I have ever been too. More
I went in to look at some new trucks and ended up yaking one onlt because of the guy I dealt with. brothers Car in 6 times for transmission never fixed right. lose bolts and screws not put back, still not right. Sometimes it seems like they did nothing to it at all. When picked up still had tranny problems and one time the started screws were not tightened back up. More
