My 2019 Ram 1500 that I bought from Ford of Latham had an ABS issue and needed to be serviced. I was going to make an appointment at a RAM dealer but Ford of Latham staff told me I could have it fixed there. ABS issue and needed to be serviced. I was going to make an appointment at a RAM dealer but Ford of Latham staff told me I could have it fixed there. I made the appointment with them and told the service department what exactly was going on with my truck. Service made my appointment knowing it was a RAM, and knowing the problem was with the ABS breaks. I took off a day of work and drove an hour to get to the dealer. Once I checked my truck in, they came out and told me they can’t work on my truck. Being as it’s a Ram they can’t hook their computer up to it, I need to go to a Ram dealer. What kind of a joke is this service department, to schedule me for something they can’t even diagnose, let alone fix. Waste of my time and money, I was so frustrated, with nothing offered but “there must have been a miscommunication”. Nope, you can see on my booking it was booked for an ABS issue on a 2019 RAM 1500…. More
