My 2019 Ram 1500 that I bought from Ford of Latham had an ABS issue and needed to be serviced. I was going to make an appointment at a RAM dealer but Ford of Latham staff told me I could have it fixed there. ABS issue and needed to be serviced. I made the appointment with them and told the service department what exactly was going on with my truck. Service made my appointment knowing it was a RAM, and knowing the problem was with the ABS breaks. I took off a day of work and drove an hour to get to the dealer. Once I checked my truck in, they came out and told me they can’t work on my truck. Being as it’s a Ram they can’t hook their computer up to it, I need to go to a Ram dealer. What kind of a joke is this service department, to schedule me for something they can’t even diagnose, let alone fix. Waste of my time and money, I was so frustrated, with nothing offered but “there must have been a miscommunication”. Nope, you can see on my booking it was booked for an ABS issue on a 2019 RAM 1500…. More
Very difficult to get a hold of service advisor. Took 13 days to get vehicle back with almost no updates. Not done when promised. Only good thing was gave me a break on price. There was a problem with a repair that Latham Ford completed (a major problem), and they refused to answer my calls or respond to more than 20 messages over a period of 2 months. I left messages for t completed (a major problem), and they refused to answer my calls or respond to more than 20 messages over a period of 2 months. I left messages for the service advisor, service manager, and general manager. Whenever I spoke to someone, they apologized and assured me that I would get a call back. That never happened. Literally, never happened over 2 months. When I stopped in, on two occasions, the entire service department was sitting around shooting the breeze. I finally just gave up on them correcting their error and took my car to another dealer who was responsive and solved the problem immediately. I had good experiences with this dealer in the past, but they just changed service managers, and I will not go back. More
Calls not returned. Had to physically go to the dealership. Dropped car off at 7;45am no update at 3pm had to call for update. Service manager not helpful at all. Told me my car had a "catastrophic" issue. Was told to get it in ASAP. Called three times for apt and never received A call back. Was told not to drive the automobile until it was looked at, but I was unable to make an appointment because I did not receive a call back. This is the worst customer service I've experienced. More
