I put off writing because I generally don't give negative reviews. Try to recognize positive experiences. But recently, the 2012 Ford Focus that I purchased through Josh had the transmission control module go and I decided to tell my story. A story that I posted on their website last night only to find it was deleted this morning. After buying a new 2012 Focus and a 2015 pre-owned Fusion from Latham Ford I reached out to Josh in April last year seeking what would be my 3rd purchase from them. From the beginning, I was lied to. He brought out a pre-owned 2012 Focus with low miles. It didn't sit right with me when he said, "No one ever smoked in the car." He said it was his buddy's car and he had sold it to him new. In two days, when the scent wore off it was clearly a smokers car and with my asthma I complained. The sales manager, Ted, after much arguing offered another car on the lot. It was not what I was looking for at all but that was the only choice he gave. I stuck with the smokers car and Josh gave me a bomb for the smell. Within days the car would not start. They put in a new/er battery, In the first week the tire wouldn't hold air and the tire pressure light kept coming on. I had to stop every two weeks for air and if I was close to Latham Ford, I stopped there. I was told if I pick up a new rim they'd install it. I eventually had it fixed myself. They obviously were not going to fix it. I did purchase an extended bumper to bumper warranty btw, or at least that's what I asked for and was told I was getting. Too many problems to list. But since I knew the 2012 Focus history I specifically asked Josh if the TCM and second recall had been addressed and he assured me, yes. That was another of many lies from him. I don't know what I was thinking but he sure saw me coming. Here's a tip.. when a car salesman looks out the window constantly when you're sitting at his desk, as if he's looking for his next victim, and acts hurried, as if you don't matter, don't walk away, run. After buying two cars from Latham Ford I would've thought I would've had a better, honest experience. Sad that they treat people this way. You definitely DO NOT get more at Latham Ford. And yes .. I did request the CarFax report to which they conveniently held on to for about 2 weeks. More
Service manager just used words not allowed on this site to describe me and told me what to do with myself. I called on Tuesday, they took me in Wednesday, and these terrific people had my 2018 Ford Explorer XLT in, properly repaired, and out in about 1.5 hrs, that's excellent service! The service manager's name is Joe Spickler, I'm sorry that I didn't get the mechanic's name, but they were great. My vehicle only has 4,400 miles on it, but I'm going to be upgrading and I'm going to be purchasing my next vehicle from an "HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY FORD DEALERSHIP NEXT TIME", LATHAM FORD, because of the way they treated me and went out of their way to properly fix my vehicle's problem. Thank you Latham Ford, you people are the best. I would highly recommend your dealership to anyone. More

Waited forever when car was finished Had an airbag recall done today. Work was performed within 40 minutes. I watched tech bring car around at 219pm. terrible service Brought my vehicle there and had to have the motor replaced, cost me 4k, supposed to be covered for a year, brought it back two days later for a noise Brought my vehicle there and had to have the motor replaced, cost me 4k, supposed to be covered for a year, brought it back two days later for a noise and an exhaust leak that it never had before, well the noise got taken care of but not the exhaust leak, brought it back again as now it has a misfire and check engine light on, was told it was a spark plug wires so I proceeded to ask why my brand new wires from my old motor weren't put on it, he proceeded to argue with me and tell me they were my wires, I'm not a xxxxxxx I know the difference between 2 month old wires and 10 year old wires, then he told me the exhaust leak was leaking from the manifold to y pipe gasket then told me those gaskets can't be found. Yea ok dime a dozen at napa. Needless to say I will never bring my vehicle back there even if I still have over 11 months of coverage left on this motor through them. Looks like I'll be doing spark plug wires and an exhaust gasket this weekend. Was also told over the phone that there is a code for my transmission that is a hard code and not clearable, hmm that's funny cause my snap on scanner and the scanner at advance Auto parts didn't find that one.. trying to get me to buy a transmission I don't need, don't think so. More

Latham was very quick to respond, spoke with Josh the same day and I was in the dealership the next day. Josh was great to deal with, as was Bill. Far superior to the previous Ford dealership I purchased through. Highly recommend; the place is clean and everyone was friendly and professional. Thanks for a great buying experience. More
