Regarding your recent purchase: Patricia, I apologize for any confusion. Part of our role in assisting you in your vehicle needs is explaining thoroughly any terms and conditions. Perhaps we failed in that. Your credit as we discussed previous, is indeed impeccable. The rate obtained is based on the year of the vehicle, which in this case is a 2007. I assure you on a newer vehicle, the rate would drop accordingly. You certainly can “shop” the rate and possibly refinance the vehicle at the lender of your choice. I also apologize if I seemed insincere. I have worked for the company for over 25 years and have always put customer satisfaction and loyalty above all. Your perception however is the only thing that matters. I assume that by you going forward with the deal, we did enough to your satisfaction. (Great price, vehicle that fit your needs, educated sales consultant, applicable rate, and hopefully pleasant experience). Good afternoon Patricia, It isn’t necessarily due to it being a “used” car. It is more based on the year (once again being a 2007). It is true that we have as low as 0% on certain new vehicles. But even then, the best credit union rate offered is 3.9% to 5.9% right now. That is true from used or new. If you were on a later model preowned, for example, say a 2011 you would get a better rate than a 07 or 04. Please understand that these are the lenders programs. It is not our decision. If up to us, we would do 0 down, 0% and 0 dollars a month for our customers. Please base you rating on us and what we can control.
