A friendly and most welcoming environment! Visiting a dealership to discuss a new vehicle is usually not on the top of one's list of favorite activities. However, things are much different at VW of Asheville. Everyone is ready to help and I was treated as a valuable customer. Andrew Kirchmeyer is absolutely the BEST salesman I have ever worked with and I have purchased a lot of vehicles. He is professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and exceptionally kind. I would recommend him highly to anyone who wants to have a positive experience! James Lordman and Nate Nunn made the final steps of the process enjoyable. It's Complicated In Nov 2016, my beloved A4 was totalled. My husband and I immediately called Mike Woodard at Harmony who has sold us every car we've owned since we In Nov 2016, my beloved A4 was totalled. My husband and I immediately called Mike Woodard at Harmony who has sold us every car we've owned since we moved to Asheville 10 yrs. ago. This time he got us a great price on an A3 which we loved, and life was good again. However, 3 months later, the A3 was totalled and we were back on the phone to Mike, this time even more upset and in panic. Mike somehow worked his magic again and got us into an amazing, 2017 fully loaded Jetta for just a little more than our insurance check from the totalled A3. I should also mention that Mike had to do a good bit of soothing and calming of frazzled nerves during the process, which he managed with an impressive balance of kindness, warmth and professionalism. I also want to note that both Mike and James Lordman made sure that we were given all the financial benefits to the buyer that were being offered at the time which helped keep costs down and was greatly appreciated. If I'm sick, I call my doctor. If I total my car, I call Mike Woodard. Well done! Betsy McCormick More

However, this in-warranty servic As noted in previous surveys, the service advisers are friendly and sincere in providing the best service experience. However, this in-warranty service (to replace an instrument cluster) took FOUR visits. One to diagnose the problem, another to install the replacement cluster (so, those two are reasonable and they did provide me with a loaner vehicle), but, two more visits to repair the damage caused by the technician to the HVAC vents and, yet another visit to re-program the spare key so it would work after the cluster replacement. On the fourth visit, I asked them to fill the windshield washer reservoir. They assure me it was filled, yet, when I returned home, it was still empty. So, over six hours of drive time for the four visits, time waiting, time scheduling, time completing these surveys, and my personal refilling of the reservoir. More

Overpriced service department. I will never understand why anyone would bring a vehicle back to a dealership unless it was for warrantee work... Then they try to scare the heck out of you, telling you that you have items that should be looked after, at your next visit in the hundreds of dollars. This always seems to happen at dealerships. This includes over 21 oil changes, tires and other repairs. I have found this service department to be beyond first rate. They go above and beyond superior service every time, no matter which service adviser I work with. VW of Asheville has earned my loyalty. I would never consider going to another dealership or independent shop. More
