Saleswoman was nice, but didn't want to stay outside much in order for me to look at the vehicle I had in mind, because it was hot, so I felt rushed. It was 'let's test drive or go in'. So, to make a short story shorter, the manager and salesperson recommended I go to Carmax. New sales strategy or do they sell so much they weren't interested in a sure sale that day? Never had a dealership that wouldn't do business. Horrible experience! More

Customer No Service! My car has been making a progressively louder sound. I called almost 2 weeks ago and they couldn't get me in till today. I had an appt. at 3 pm. When I came inside, "Jim" said it would be awhile before anyone could look at my car. I told him I had an appointment for 3 o'clock and had to leave work to bring the car in. He said that doesn't matter. No one was available. I asked him if there was another day that I could bring it in at a certain time and be assured that I would be seen then. He said nope. There are no days that I can be guaranteed when I bring my car in that it would be seen then. If you ask me, this is a pretty lousy way to run a business. He acted as if my time did not matter at all. I asked him when he knew that they were backed up and I wouldn't be seen right away, why didn't he call me and tell me and I could have stayed at work and not wasted 45 minutes of my time. He just mumbled something. I wish there was another place I could take my Toyota Sienna in, because I am not happy at all with Browns. Whatever happened to customer service? More
Immensely Disappointed We came to a final price after working towards a trade in value, military incentive, matching another Toyota dealer, and the $750 incentive for purcha We came to a final price after working towards a trade in value, military incentive, matching another Toyota dealer, and the $750 incentive for purchasing a 2015 Camry if we used Toyota Financing. We went to the finance manager's office to sign all our loan documents and we were under the assumption that this was all done through Toyota Financing. We signed all the paperwork, had the keys in our hand and were walking out to our new Camry to leave. This is when the sales manager came up and stopped us saying we have to redo all the loan paperwork because the loan didn't end up going through Toyota Finance so we didn't qualify for the $750 incentive. At this point we should have just walked out since we had legal signed documentation in our hands. Instead we paid upfront the $750 difference and redid the loan paperwork. I am still floored that they made us do this and completely regret not just walking out! What a shame! Lost a returning customer for $750! On a side note: Adam Blake was a great salesperson with awesome customer service, just this blatant oversight by the entire staff was extremely disappointing for us. More
Great service! Personal and professional; got a Honda Fit. When I walked into the dealership, I was cordially greeted by Leslee Parsons, who helped me with extreme patience, knowledgeability, and perseverance. I had no specific idea of what car I wanted, just a few particulars. When I told her I basically used my cars like trucks (to haul things) but really needed great gas mileage, she immediately suggested a Honda Fit. She took everything I wanted into account, was never condescending, was friendly and helpful; I never felt overwhelmed, pushed, or that anyone had the stereotypical used-car-salesmen skeaze. She worked with my price range and offered me options; she pursued various cars at affiliated Brown locations, and took me over to the Honda dealership to test-drive some cars there. I loved working with her, and the dealership went out of its way to make things work for me. Definitely recommended. More

I took the car for service after a noise from the front and they kept the car for 3 days and told me it was wheel bearing that needed to be replaced. After I picked up the car, same noise was there. When I arrived home, I called the service adviser to let him know and he told it needs new tires. Last week, I made an appointment for state inspection and was told it should take about an hour. I sat there for 2 hours waiting and when I went to check on status as I had a business meeting to attend. The service adviser tells me that it didn't pass inspection because of tail light had a small crack on it. I took the car somewhere else and was told that they are being very picky about that. The service is very bad and advisers are rude and don't care. I will never buy a car from there and will never return for service. More

The service department however is a disaster, they cannot keep an appointments, oil filler cap left off during service, tires not rotated etc. The service department advertises on their website that you can wait for your vehicle while they service it however when I took my truck in for what Toyota told me would be a 20 minute job I was told I would be waiting between 1.5 and 2 hours. Later conversations with Browns revealed that their service manager Jay Malone does not care whether his clients make an appointment or not or how long customers have to wait. If you value after sales service you should shop elsewhere. More

When we got to the dealership we worked with Tom Kane. Another pleasant and helpful sales person. They both seemed interested in making sure we got the truck with the features we were interested in. We had done a lot of research on the best price to pay for the truck we wanted and were quite happy with the deal we got. I could highly recommend Brown Toyota without reservation. More

I am SO excited to have my brand new Toyota Corrola LE Plus and it wouldn't have happened without Adam's wonderful customer service. If you are looking for a car I would seriously reach out to Adam who is happy to help with all your needs, even if it means getting a car from a different dealership. After complaining a couple times to no avail, ( no follow up, nothing, just ignored me), I went to Richmond and bought the vehicle there. I still am in awe how someone could walk into a dealership, practically beg to buy a vehicle , and still be blown off. Incredible. BUYER BEWARE. Imagine if I bought a new car there and had a problem with it!! I have bought a car there in the past, but never again. Won't go there for service either. More
