This was hands down the best car experience I’ve ever had. I knew what I wanted before we ever came to the store. They got it from another dealership and 1.5 hours later we were out with our new car. After reading all these wonderful reviews, I wonder why my experience is so different. When I called to make an appointment to fix a recall it took a month to actually get an appointment. When I objected, my experience is so different. When I called to make an appointment to fix a recall it took a month to actually get an appointment. When I objected, I was told recalls are done on a limited basis (too bad for the recall customers). When I finally got my vehicle in, they had it 8 hours for what was suppose to be a 1 hour fix. When I picked my vehicle up I found that they did nothing to it except to inspect it and order parts)you would think parts would be in stock for recalls, especially after having a month to get the parts needed). Having heard nothing from Umansky for two weeks, I called to find out what was going on. My appointment was scheduled another week out. Now, I’ve had my vehicle back for a week and the engine light is still on. I called to find out if it’s suppose to go out by itself, if the technician was supposed to turn it out, or if there is still a problem with the vehicle. Of course, no one answered the phone. Left a message...no return call! More
Had simple oil change -tire rotat. maintenance. Dropped off car @ 10:00AM and the courtesy shuttle took me back to the UVA Med Center where I work. Usually I hear fr someone @ 1:00PM or 2 what the status i off car @ 10:00AM and the courtesy shuttle took me back to the UVA Med Center where I work. Usually I hear fr someone @ 1:00PM or 2 what the status is, but this time I had to call and Ernest told me that he had not received the paper-work to give to the mechanics to get the car in line for the maintenance. So he moved it up in the queue but by that time the guy driving the shuttle was now gone for the day. Various people I called- multiple times- seemed either confused or indifferent that I might not be able to get back from the UVA Med Center to get my car. After I insisted that I be picked up so I could get my car, Ernest himself came and picked me up. I really appreciate his attending to this, but this experience was new for me at Umansky -usually everyone is receptive and helpful/responsive. I was prevented from doing timed activities on that day because I had no reliable info on when I might have to leave to go get my car. This was the opposite of convenient. I must've called 6-7 times. IT WAS AN OIL CHANGE! C'mon! More
I really enjoy working with a service rep that I can count on. I can rely on Lindsey to review service needs and make quality recommendations based on vehicle use and mileage. I just completed an annual service (15k), and I had no problems scheduling - drop off - or pick up. They also have a great shuttle service.
