Wow, I made an online appointment for Saturday – I’m sure that I did it correctly b/c automatically I received a coupon by email for $ 10 off wiper blades. This is where it got interesting as Umansky Toyota that I did it correctly b/c automatically I received a coupon by email for $ 10 off wiper blades. This is where it got interesting as Umansky Toyota had both my email and cell phone number (as part of registering online), no messages came in to verify/remind me of the appointment by Friday – which IS the whole point of giving them this information. So, I called both the service and registration line. The registration was completely unhelpful, they wanted all my vehicle information and couldn’t check to see if I had a registration for tomorrow but promised to call me back. I called the service line four separate times and got an answering machine each time – after leaving my name and number still no calls back. As I live about 30 miles away – it didn’t seem prudent to drive there in hopes that I had a reservation. Moreover, why would I trust someone to change my oil when they can’t give the courtesy of a return phone call? More
I had a problem today with Umansky and a maintenance plan that I purchased from Mike when I bought my Rav4. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, Dario Beltran, he assured me that my dissatisfa that I purchased from Mike when I bought my Rav4. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, Dario Beltran, he assured me that my dissatisfaction was warranted and that he would make it right. So, follow up. After being assured of the issues being taken care of, I brought my car in for service. They performed an unnecessary oil change and charged me for it, even though my service (maintenance contract) was suppose to cover all oil changes until 55,000 miles. Then the service person said that I had an oil change at 50,000 miles and I didn't even need that service. This sent me over the top, given you have a service advisor that doesn't advise, just spends your money. Also, I was told that I would have a detailed car for my hassle a couple of months ago. The detailed car did not have the back vacuumed out, the mats were not cleaned, the dashboard was not even wiped. Please, if that is a detail we have a different definition. Furthermore, I had to wait 1/2 hour for other people to pick up their cars. They had one person working with six people waiting. Dario Beltran, I was close to buying another toyota, as I like to have a car that I can trust and I received a notice from toyota that said my payment would go down if I traded in my car. If I buy another Toyota, it will not be from Umansky. I can't get good service even after giving you another chance, informing the service people going in and requesting that they speak with the service manager if they had any questions, and speaking over and over again about the problems. Unacceptable. More
Totally unsatisfied! Dropped my vehicle off for a recall remedy at 0900 for a 0930 scheduled appointment. Was told it would be ready by 1:00 but no later than 1:30. Stopped by at 1:30 to pick up the vehic remedy at 0900 for a 0930 scheduled appointment. Was told it would be ready by 1:00 but no later than 1:30. Stopped by at 1:30 to pick up the vehicle and was told they hadn't even started on it. They wanted to know if I wanted to wait 2 hours while they started to work on the recall remedy. Unacceptable service!!! More
The service advisor was very helpful and upbeat, the service took an hour less than expected. My Tacoma runs great so far..quiet and smooth except for the computer when it searches for gears and brake f service took an hour less than expected.
