I bought a 2007 Honda Odyssey from EVERHART HONDA on 10/20/2011. When in the process of buying I complained about a roaring in the front end. I asked them to have service department check it out. After purchasing the van thinking everything was good. I listened to the noise the whole way home. I took it to my local dealer (Vann York Honda, High Point, NC) before we could get out of the parking lot thier technician said it was a front wheel bearing. $315 laters I was noise free. I call EVERHART HONDA and complaint about what had happened. They told me I had bought the van as is and they would do nothing. Six days later I get a call from my Insurance company asking if I bought the van I had called them about. The fiance guy didn't call my insurance company and give the information they needed to process my policy and get my coverage corrected. I feel they have sorry sales ethics and poor management. I emailed Mr. Everhart and told him what had happened, NO REPLY. Imagine that, just like the rest of his employees. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE. I just stopped by to price the new honda's. I did look at a few used one's a couple of day's before and there was a silver 2007 honda accord I liked at a glance. Since I been driving a honda accord for the last 5 yrs I knew it would be a good car but the price made me stop a few days later in the new car lot. I was not planning to buy another honda I was on my way to the toyota west to actually buy from them. Michelle came over as I was looking at the civic's. She sure wasn't pushy like toyota west. Michelle spent a long time with me got me a great trade!!! I was driving a new civic the same day!! Thanks Michelle you been great and I hope they keep you around for a long time. I was considering getting a new Honda Civic recently and was going to go to my Local Dealership which is Everhart Honda in Statesville, NC. I called a friend of mine that I knew was working there to get so was going to go to my Local Dealership which is Everhart Honda in Statesville, NC. I called a friend of mine that I knew was working there to get some information about the car and I got a lot more information than I was anticipating. I discover that my friend who had been working there about 6 months had to miss a few days of work early this month because his wife was admitted to the ICU in the local hospital. Then, when he went to return to work after she was released from the hospital they fired him. Now I understand North Carolina is a employment at will state but this is just cruel. After asking him for more information, he told me that the dealership told him his priorities were wrong, and that business comes before family and that he did not need to be at the hospital because he was not a doctor or nurse. This speaks volumes to me as a customer, if they treat their employees like this then how are they going to treat me or you as a customer. I know for sure they will not get a chance with me for I will definitely look elsewhere to purchase my vehicle and I will surely not bring my vehicle there for service! Beware, this place obviously cares about nothing but the money because they sure don't care about their own people! More
From the moment my wife and I walked onto the lot at Everhart Honda we were greeted with a friendly welcome. We were interested in the special lease deals being advertised on the 2010 Accord. Our sales person suggested we test drive the vehicle to appreciate all of the features the car had to offer. My wife and I were truely impressed. We went into the dealership and sat with our sales person and explained that we needed to be at a specific paynent with no money out of pocket and together with his sales manager they came back with the payment we needed with no money out of pocket. At no time did they pressure us, even when we said we would go home and think about it. They even offered to let us take the vehicle home overnite. We declined to take the vehicle home and they still did not pressure us and said that when we came back they would still honor the price they gave us. We returned the next day, after visiting a few other dealerships and not being impressed with them, and spoke with the manager who did honor the price he gave us the day before and purchased a new 2010 Honda Acccord 4-door sedan. The puchase procces was smooth and my wife signed a few finance documents and we left with her new car. We definately would reccomend this dealership and we intend to return to purchase my replacement vehicle in the near future. More
This is our second purchase from Everhart Honda, matter of fact we visited several other Honda dealerships before returning to Everhart. There is a hometown feeling within the dealership and we were not ju of fact we visited several other Honda dealerships before returning to Everhart. We looked around for about 20 minutes which allowed us the time to look at the different vehicles we were interested in. Michelle is personable and an asset to the Honda Corporation. She knows her stuff and details regarding our new Honda CRV. Chandler, sales manager went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He spent the time needed to explain the process of purchasing our vehicle. The openess and friendliess of this dealership and its employees is what it is all about for us, we were not just customers, we were made to feel like it mattered what we thought during the whole process. Everhart is wonderful! I have serviced my cars there for over 10 years. I actually started servicing my car there due to a problem I had with another dealer in Hickory and was so pleased with the awesome s over 10 years. I actually started servicing my car there due to a problem I had with another dealer in Hickory and was so pleased with the awesome service department that I bought my next car from them. Even after moving to Charlotte and then to Greenville, SC, I still continue to make the drive to have them service my car. The service department manager, Reno, is extremely nice and he's what has kept me coming back after moving away - I know I can trust him and they never have me doing unnecessary work on my cars. And, I love my Honda Accord that I got at Everhart. It is a 2003 and I have 282,000 miles on it currently and it's still going strong. I highly recommend Everhart for service or sales. I have had so many negative experiences with car dealers and service at car dealers, but I have never had that at Everhart. They truly care about their customers and it definitely shows! More
