Louie, my service writer, was very friendly, helpful and thorough. I even enjoyed my ride home by your driver. And I apologize to him as I've forgotten his name... the bass fisherman! I'm thrilled with my car and am extremely happy that I chose Flood Ford. Historically, I've purchased all my Mercurys from Tasca. My dad has been your customer for years. When he went to purchase his last truck, he went to Tasca as well and said he'd never go back there. So, I followed suit. I'm very happy I did. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I'm 47 and haven't had many pleasant experiences in car buying. I went to evaluate a used vehicle and the vehicle was not there on that day. After driving 100 miles to see it, I was not thrilled. Without hesitation they offered to drive the vehicle to me . I am a first time car buyer in my early twenties and went to several dealerships around Rhode Island. At Flood Ford EG, I was treated with kindness and respect. I had quite a few demands for the car I had in mind and Flood Ford met all of them. I bought my brand new 2013 Ford Focus from Ken Wylie, a great guy that was always willing to assist me in any way possible. My father bought his first car when he was a teenager from Ken's father and has been buying cars from Ken for several years now. During the process of finding the perfect car, I told my dad that it mattered to me who I bought my car from, so much so that I would walk away from the right car if I felt I did not trust the person I was working with. When dealing with Flood Ford and with Ken, I felt like I was buying a car from my very own father and felt very safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. My Mazda CX-7 was making noise from the A/C unit. My wife works in the East Greenwich area and I was concerned about driving the car to The Flood Mazda Dealership in Wakefield, RI. Dave Mooney of Flood wife works in the East Greenwich area and I was concerned about driving the car to The Flood Mazda Dealership in Wakefield, RI. Dave Mooney of Flood Ford, EG was confident that he could resolve the problem and analyzed the problem. It turns out that the Mazda CX-7 has a history of A/C compressor issues. I called Mazda Customer Service and spoke with a representative that informed me that the car had to be diagnosed by a Mazda Dealer and they would review any adjustment in the price to fix the compressor. I informed Dave Mooney of the condition of inspection by a Mazda Dealer. I asked if I could pick up the car and drive it to Flood Mazda in Wakefield. He said he would get the car ready for pick up. I informed him that I would reimburse Flood Ford for the work they performed. To my surprise, Dave Mooney realized that the problem may be a manufacturer problem and released the car to me without charges for his diagnosis of the problem. It is that kind of treatment that speaks volumnes for the Flood Dealerships. I have been a customer of Flood Mazda and Flood Ford in Narragansett for purchasing vehicles and service. I will continue to be a customer at Flood Dealerships for their customer service and new car sales. Thanks to Dave Mooney and the Service area for the help in this matter. We first went to Flood Ford to buy a used car. Unfortunately that car did not work out. Eric Lacey, the service manager, did everything right to help us out of a bad situation. They took the car back and we ended up getting a new Ford Escape. Everything worked out fine. We have always been Pontiac and Jeep people. Buying a Ford was foreign to us but John and the professional staff at Flood Ford made it all easy. John explained everything about the car to us. He even synced my phone to the car for me. Thank - God, I'm not sure that I could have done that. All-in-all a bad situation was made into a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend Flood Ford. Was looking for a reasonably priced low miles Ford lease and was drawn to this dealership for its advertised deals on last years models (which was fine with me). The sales staff was extremely helpful with and was drawn to this dealership for its advertised deals on last years models (which was fine with me). The sales staff was extremely helpful with all things - including trading in my current lease, simplifying the lease terms and monthly payments (my prior lease had a higher monthly rate and DID NOT include the yearly state excise tax whereas Ford leasing will make the monthly payment include this tax so there are no surprise fees you are billed at the end of the year). Excellent customer care was provided at the time of sale and beyond, I felt all things were explained upfront, and any subsequent questions with the vehicle have been addressed promptly by phone or email. Very happy with my experience and would recommend this dealership. More
I own many super duty fords some of which were purchased from flood ford. I always have one which needs service. A fews years ago I began taken them to flood ford and the service was not that good. You would make a appointment and they would never work on them. Some times they would sit for a additional day or two before they worked on them. If you called you would get every excuse under the sun, and maybe even and attitude to go with it. These trucks are service trucks that operate seven days a week and are needed. Sometimes I don't believe they understand that these trucks are only making money when they are working. I ended up leaving flood ford and went to another dealership. Beginning January 1, 2013 I began going back to flood. I can't believe how much the service has changed. When you arrive there is a person to greet you and open the door. The staff inside is new and the attitudes are muched improved. They worked on the vehicles that day and both were returned that day. Paul in service called many times and gave updates and time frames through out the day which was much appreciated. It allowed me to plan work knowing when the trucks would be returned and could be put back in service. When we arrived to pick them up Paul explained exactly what was done it great detail.
