Fletcher Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM

I have been buying mostly new cars all my adult life. I graduated from High School in 1961. I learned how to drive in a "3 speed on the tree" 1952 Studebaker Champion Starlite Coupe my Grandfather gave m graduated from High School in 1961. I have probably owned more than 30 cars in my lifetime. The purchase of the 2010 Dodge Challenger Furious Fuchsia from Fletcher CDJ in Franklin, Indiana has to be one of the 2 best transactions I have ever experienced in my entire time of buying cars from dealers. The other great experience was buying my first Furious Fuchsia Challenger from Steve Landers CDJ in Little Rock, Arkansas. Unfortunately I traded my first Fuchsia Challenger in on a 2012 Challenger Yellow Jacket. It had the big 392 cubic inch HEMI. The Fuchsia only had a 345 cubic inch 5.7 liter HEMI. I really like the Yellow Jacket but it just doesn't have the same Panache as the 2010 Fuchsia does. So I found this one on line and started dealing with Dick Giles. We talked on the phone for a while and when he found out I was serious about the Fuchsia Challenger he went to work getting me a better price on the car. He has been very helpful with this whole transaction, keeping me informed about what taxes I would have to pay etc. He went out of his way to accommodate me on several special requests I had concerning the car. He sent pictures that were clear, concise and illustrated exactly what I wanted to see.. I am now 70 years old and probably too old to be driving a car capable of doing 175+ miles per hour, but I had the first Fuchsia Challenger up to 140 MPH. I couldn't purchase a 1970 Dodge Challenger when they first came out because I had a 2 year old and an infant. They wouldn't fit in the back seat (It was really small) so I bought a Dodge Dart Swinger White hat special. Purchase the car with a white vinyl top and get free air conditioning. Dodge also had the 5 year 50,000 mile warranty. That car had the 318 automatic transmission, it was a very good car for what it was, but it wasn't a Challenger. So when the Furious Fuchsia Challenger came out in 2010 I simply had to have one. I searched for one on line and even when to the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Dealership in North Little Rock to ask about ordering one. They said I would have to pay for the car before they would even start looking for one. I went home got my check and went back to the same dealership and they said they wouldn't order it because the window was closed for special orders. That is when I went to Steve Landers CDJ. They found a Fuchsia car that was bound for Nebraska and talked the dealer into letting them have the car. They bought the car and then called me and told me they had found one close to what I wanted, and hoped I would come in and but it. The only thing not exactly like I wanted was the gray interior. It had everything else that would have made it perfect AND it ran on regular non leaded fuel. I really enjoyed the car and all the comments I received. I even had 2 people come up to me and ask it they could take pictures of it. I wound out later that they only made 998 of the R/T's and 400 of the SRT8s. I really don't like the looks of the wheel on the SRT 8 so I was thrilled that the R/T classic had the look of the 1970s. When I saw the car listed on the internet at Fletcher CDJ in Indiana I had to call and see If I could deal with them. I could and now the car, I'M Happy to say is mine. AND it is the exact car I would have order from the Dealership in North Little Rock in 2010 if they hadn't been such A@#$#@#s about the car in the first place More

I recently went into their serv dept to purchase an add'l key/fob. Also, I had purchased the car w/ after-market "chrome" wheel covers and recently discovered one missing (no fault of the dealer). Adam stated they had the programmable key, but soon realized his error - they didn't (hey, we're all human). He immediately drove down the street, got the proper key, and stated they'd give me the wheel cover at no charge! I can't say enough good things about this dealership! More

Unlike most other dealers in the area, the team at Fletcher was willing to actually negotiate where others had a take it or leave it attitude. Jason was easy to work with, both over the phone and through email. The process was quick and easy to both negotiate an actual price and work through delivery of our new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jake stepped in and did a great job when Jason could not be there at delivery. The only negative, and it's a minor one, is that our new Jeep wasn't fully prepped and detailed prior to us taking delivery. I'm sure they were rushing to get it completed while we were there, and it wasn't that inconvenient for us, but it would have been better if it had been completed earlier. Obviously if that's the only complaint then the whole process was handled very well from start to finish. Thank you everyone at Fletcher for making our purchase an easy and friendly one. More

I knew they had the vehicle I wanted as I'd seen it listed in their inventory on the internet, but I'd have to see how things would go before committing to a purchase. Jason Wright drew the short straw, so he had to deal with me. I found him to be low key (which I liked) and knowledgeable about the SUV's we looked at. When he showed me the offer for the new Durango with discounts and my trade value, it was pretty close to what I had in mind. Any car buyer has to come back with a lower counter-offer and if I had I'm sure we would have come to an agreement with a lower price, but I didn't. I thought it was fair enough for both parties. Profit isn't a bad word in my vocabulary and people have families to provide for and bills to pay. Jason earned his share of the sale and I wanted him to have it. I was pleased with the total experience at Fletcher and I would certainly recommend the dealership to others. More
