DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I have never encountered such incompetence within a company as a whole. The Service and the Finance Departments are the worst and after contacting th I have never encountered such incompetence within a company as a whole. The Service and the Finance Departments are the worst and after contacting the department's leadership I understand why. They do not return calls, they do not do what they say they are going to do. Please, save yourself any wasted time and frustrations as this is what this dealership will cause you, utter anger, wasted time, and no resolution. Total Incompetence. More
Service department has gone steadily downhill. First experiences there when the new location opened were very good. Then some personnel changes contributed to problems in my opinion. Took my truck in with a coupon containing no small print restrictions for routine maintenance. Repairs completed and price is higher due to cost of larger air filter. No notification or conversation, just a higher bill. Not a great price but still acceptable so I just went with it. Go back for a subsequent visit with a coupon for routine brake service. This time I know to ask if there may be any surprises on price. My service advisor goes to his manager who says yes that price will be honored if the work is on the front axle which is what I needed. Service advisor is actually honest and ethical and says brakes have some life left in them and will be good until my next return visit later. I go back with an appointment as I always do. Even with an appointment, a 2 hour wait (or more) is expected for just an oil change. I reported in comments on appointment on-line what I want to be inspected and that I have been notified by a manager that this price would be honored on my still valid coupon. Manager Steve VerHagen leaves me a message two days before my appointment stating that the price for the brake job will not be honored due to truck parts prices I assume. I return his call and leave a message reporting that his message was contradictory to what a different manager had told me recently. I asked what the price would be since he disagreed. Never heard back and cancelled my visit just before my appointment time. At least he didn't wait until I showed up or after the repairs were completed. This is only once out of many times that a call was never returned from different people in the service department. I have also called the main number twice to request a specific employee and was told they show nobody by that name. When I arrive for my appointment the person is there and I told them I was told they could not be found on the employee list. I started going to Sam Pack dealerships back in 2006 for a purchase in Carrollton. Salesman was great, service was great and general manager appeared to have a very good operation. I recently checked and all three of those great employees are still there after all these years. I intend to start going back there in spite of location issues due to this consistency in personnel and great reviews. Most disappointing with Sam Pack Dallas is how good they were when the new location opened and how bad they have become with mass confusion and the left hand not knowing what the right is doing. And also complete lack of communication as a normal course of action now. I know one customer is not important but I assume it is much more than me due to overall process and history. More

Anthony Saenz should teach classes in customer service. Before finding this gem of a man, I contacted 4 other Ford Dealerships trying to get a phaser issue in my 3.5 eco F150 fixed. Other dealerships repea Before finding this gem of a man, I contacted 4 other Ford Dealerships trying to get a phaser issue in my 3.5 eco F150 fixed. Other dealerships repeatedly told me it would take weeks to have my truck looked at, and even more to get it repaired. When I called Five Star Ford of Dallas, I was lucky to be transferred to Anthony Saenz. He clearly understood my concerns and treated me like I was his only customer. Throughout my service experience, Anthony kept in close contact with me, updating me at least once per day. All in all, it was repaired in a few days and I’m through the roof sold on my experience with Five Star Ford of Dallas and Anthony. If I ever move out of Dallas, I will drive across the country to see him and have Five Star do all my repairs. I don’t know the mechanic who worked on my truck, but he/she did a fantastic job, and it runs and sounds better than when it was new. Thank you for the best service experience I’ve EVER had in a dealership, Anthony. I hope someone at your dealership sees this and realizes how great you are.
