This is my second vehicle purchase from Fitzgerald. I think the first purchase in 2004 went a bit smoother since it took place completely over the internet. However, working with Peter was great as he was responsive to phone calls and emails and has been so helpful BOTH before and after the sale. However, I do feel I could have gotten a better price if I had used my AAA membership and shopped via their service (about $1,800 less). Sales Manager Charles charged full retail price for the 3 add ons I wanted and would not budge on that as he mentioned numerous times that “we have 2 other people who want this car”. So I know I paid more for the vehicle than I would have via AAA although the price was not outrageous based on KBB, Edmunds, and True Car sites ($400-$700 more). I don’t like that there is a Fitzgerald decal on the back of the car. I think I should have been asked about that before it was put on. Overall I am very pleased with the car as it is exactly what I wanted. I just suggest to folks to get all negotiation done online beforehand so you don’t have to deal with the Sales Manager in person. More
I just purchased a new Impreza hatchback with the help of Constantin, and he could not have been more helpful. When I first went to White Flint Subaru back in June there were no Imprezas in stock, so Consta Constantin, and he could not have been more helpful. When I first went to White Flint Subaru back in June there were no Imprezas in stock, so Constantin sat with me and discussed the incoming cars. Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and there was no pressure, unlike other dealerships I had visited. From what we discussed I put a deposit down on a new vehicle. Over the next month while I waited for delivery he kept me updated on its progress. The best part is, when the car finally arrived at the dealership, he came in on his day off to complete the sale. He said, although they don't work on commission, because I had waited a month he wanted me to have it as soon as possible. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism. It was also a pleasure to meet with someone genuinely excited about these cars. He will happily tell you about his own Subaru experiences as both a seller and an owner. I love my car and highly recommend talking with Constantin if you are interested in a new Subaru. More

I started with Fitzgerald Suzuki in Wheaton then decided on Fitzgerald Subaru in Kensington. The staff in both dealerships were extremely helpful. In fact, it was Fred at the Suzuki dealership that recommended that I check out the Subaru dealership! My visit at the Subaru Fitz Mall started with a welcome from Constantin Wickramasinghe. I admit that once stepping onto the lot I knew exactly what I wanted. When Constantin greeted me, we discussed my needs and wishes, looked around at the inventory, and, after he put on his driving cap, we jumped right into an Impreza for a test drive. Constantin is also a longtime fellow Subaru driver so, with his knowledge and experience on all that make Subarus great, the test drive was tons of fun. After that drive I was hooked. At that time, the lot did not have what I wanted. Constantin and his team searched for my desired car, found it, and had it driven to the dealership. The purchasing process was a breeze. They took care of everything and explained all details clearly. With such low rates, I decided to finance through Fitzgerald and became a proud owner of a 2012 Subaru Impreza Hatchback. That weekend the area experienced a terrible storm and I woke up to a flat tire! I brought it back to Fitzgerald and met their fantastic service team. When Constantin discovered that a large piece of metal punctured the tire and that it would need to be replaced, he went out of his way to see that Fitzgerald would cover the cost. Sarah, from their service team, offered me a loaner car for the next two days while waiting for the new tire. The flat tire on my new car, and the hassle that went along with it, bummed me out but Constantin and other Fitzgerald team members made the process smooth and easy for me. They not only have a customer for life but I will recommend Fitzgerald to anyone buying a car. More

He did an excellent job on the walk through during the delivery process and was very patient with the numerous questions we asked about the vehicle. Joe, in the back office went through all of the various options and explained all of the various forms we needed to sign. It was a busy day at the dealership and he was the only back office person, but he never tried to hurry the process. Stephen, the credit manager brought us our reports and for the first time ever, sat with us and explained all of the scores and how they are calculated. As I said in my opening statement, the entire staff was great. This is a very busy busy dealership that sells lots of cars due to their great pricing, but never once did we feel rushed in order to get to the next customer. Mr. Fitzgerald should be very proud of the team at this Subaru Dealership. Ed and Betty PS - I also noticed they brought in lunch for the entire staff while we were there. Peter is the best sales person I have ever worked with. He was friendly, attentive and never pushy. I had to order my car, and Peter was right there with updates whenever I needed them. He went above and beyond and I would reccommend him to anyone. The price was right ( better than their sister dealership on Gaithersburg) and the experience was wonderful. More

I recently bought my first Subaru (a 2012 Outback) and was very impressed with everything and everyone at Fitzgerald - and particularly with my sales representative, Joel Schenk. His first contact was a response via email, which was thorough and prompt. He stayed past his normal hours at the dealership in order to meet with me at a time that was good for me. Joel was very patient as I looked at car after car to make sure I was making the right choice. He answered all of my questions and was never pushy. Rather than making the purchase that night (it had gotten quite late), I went back a couple of days later, and Joel had made sure that my new car had been readied - it was spotless, full of gas... and perfect. The paperwork had also been prepared to make it a fast, smooth process. Joel went through all the features of the car and really took his time making sure I knew how to operate everything and was familiar with the owner's manual before I drove it off the lot. Joel had another employee assist me with setting up the bluetooth feature since technology is not my strong point. I couldn't be happier with the service Joel provided. He is a quite the gentleman and I look forward to referring anyone in the market for a Subaru to him! More
