I had a great experience with First Hyundai of North Attleboro. Maybe I have the positive attitude toward this dealership because (a) I knew what I wanted and (b) I don't have high expectations for a ca Attleboro. Maybe I have the positive attitude toward this dealership because (a) I knew what I wanted and (b) I don't have high expectations for a car dealership, but shouldn't we all feel this way when purchasing a new vehicle? I (very) recently decided it was time to buy a new car. My first, and only, thought was to look at Hyundais as I had a great experience with my previous Hyundai and decided to search for another. I first met Mateo, he was very easygoing and didn't have the normal car salesman air about him - it's a lot easier to look at a car when you don't feel that pressure many car salesmen give off. I wasn't exactly sure I would drive off the lot saying "I bought a new car!", I was merely browsing for used Sonatas; however, as soon as I saw the 2011 Elantra I fell in love. I took it for a test drive, talked numbers with Mateo and purchased my car. I wasn't made to feel like I had been done a "huge favor" by First Hyundai, and that's how a buyer should feel - happy to have a new car... period. I must also add that on the day I went to pick up my new car, I went in at 8am when the sales guys are not in until 9. The cashier (I wish I had her name, she deserves recognition) was very helpful in calling a sales guy (Greg) to make sure he would be there early. Then, as I opened my door I noticed a scuff mark on the inside of my car. The cashier called John (service manager) and he was very quick to take my car in and try to fix it. He was not able to, saying the recon guy would be there later and gave me his card - I was so nervous that it would be one of those situations where you drive off the lot and it becomes your problem, but to my surprise when I called he was got me in at the time I needed, quoting it would only take 20 minutes - and happily, it only took 20 minutes!! My experience with First Hyundai was a very pleasant one, though should there be any changes I will be quick to note ;) More
I discovered First Hyundai on AutoTrader when I was looking to replace my 2003 Saturn Ion. Immediately I fell in love with a 2008 Elantra. It was well within my price range and after talking to Teddy Ch looking to replace my 2003 Saturn Ion. Immediately I fell in love with a 2008 Elantra. It was well within my price range and after talking to Teddy Chabo I was confident it would be mines. Somehow I got duped by another dealer and they had messed up my credit. But Teddy took me anyways and somehow worked magic and got me into that vehicle the day I came in. I loved it! But after less than a year I needed something bigger due to my growing family and so I called Teddy again and he gave me all the details on how to get in to something bigger. He hooked me up with Carl and Anthony who had the most beautiful Santa Fe. They not only sold me the car but they worked with Mikey in Finance to make my payments affordable. First Hyundai is by far the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They treat everyone just like family and they are honest. I love this dealership and just knowing that they dont just see each person as a dollar sign gives me the confidence to give them my business for years to come. I wish I would have known how great they were before I went elsewhere. I would have made them my first choice. More

Went to this dealer because they had a very large selection of cars, with many options to choose from. Their sales staff was professional and friendly. They gave us good information about the vehic selection of cars, with many options to choose from. Their sales staff was professional and friendly. They gave us good information about the vehicle we were interested in. This dealer is 1 hr away from our home and it was worth the trip. We will recommend this dealer and our salesman to all of our friends interested in buying a vehicle. Their website is also very user friendly so it was easy for us to shop ahead of time for the right vehicle in the right color for us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience when buying a new vehicle. Another bonus was the 1.9% financing they offered us. As for our salesman Bob Matay we can't say enough good things about him, he educated us on the Elantra we purchased made us aware of all the options it had to offer, he went out of his way to make us happy and get the right car, color & options at the right price. We will absolutely purchase another car from him when the time comes again that we need a new vehicle. Many thanks to Bob Matay & First Hyundai for making our new car purchase a pleasant, easy & stressfree experience. If new cars were like a great cup of coffee at the store in the morning, I could go to this dealership everyday!!! More

The reason I gave such a high rating is because I have been to various dealers in the past when they were pushy. This is the most unethical dealership I have experienced. In fact I bet all the positive reviews on this site are from the owners themselves trying to rebuild their image. I went in to BUY a new car. 5 month In fact I bet all the positive reviews on this site are from the owners themselves trying to rebuild their image. I went in to BUY a new car. 5 months prior I had negotiated a deal with the 2010 accent and I took the time to save up for a reasonable down payment. I went back in November and wanted to BUY the accent. They had explained to me (as mentioned in other reviews)the difference, with my new down payment and my trade in, would be so minimal if I decided to go with the 2010 Elantra. I test drove it and yes it was a better car so we started talking money. After several hours of minimal concessions in correlation with several "discounts" such as military, college graduate and living with another Hyundai owner (which did not factor in once I saw the actual contract), I was offered a price of $180 a month. This price was to include everything. As soon as we went to finalize paperwork I was informed that this was a lease agreement and they could not get me anywhere near that with me purchasing the vehicle. In fact they were doing me a tremendous favor due to my lack of credit, i shouldn't have been able to get a lease supposedly. This was proposed to be a rare occurrence and a tremendous opportunity to me. And then when I shunned the idea of leasing away they said the only thing I could afford was the accent. I said I would like to buy the accent and they told me I could not get the deal they had negotiated with me months prior. Also they made comments like "you deserve a better car than that". With this misguidance and the hunger and anxiety in my stomach from spending all day their I signed the papers. BUT THIS WAS NOT THE WORST OF IT!!! the next day I had to bring my down payment of 1000 dollar. the man named George who sold me the car had me drive him to the gas station to get my sticker and give him the money there. i got the sticker but no receipt for my down payment. he explained to me that it was already worked into the deal and i didn't need one!!! So I went to take it a step further and talked to the manager Sam. He gave me the same story. I had to give the 1000 dollars to make the bank think my trade was worth more. Upset and angry at this point(and within 5 days of purchasing the vehicle)I said I wanted to give it back. He told me I couldn't. I would have to sacrifice my trade and the down payment and he basically made it seem like I would be loosing my life savings, but there was another option. I could opt out of the lease and purchase the vehicle which would bring me up to $300 a month which I couldn't afford. and then I asked about what my discounts would factor in as because this price would take me way over the MSRP. He said that I wasn't eligible for any of them. Anyways the story goes on but it's to much to write. More
Went to this dealership after talking to the manager and the salesmand George Cowell who told me there was a black sonata on the lot. We went there and our car keys were taken by the salesman and we ended u the salesmand George Cowell who told me there was a black sonata on the lot. We went there and our car keys were taken by the salesman and we ended up being their for 6 plus hours with the promise of driving the sonata we test drove if we signed the papers to make the sale after telling them we were leaving and having our car towed away. They had us sign the paperwork and after that we were told we could not take a dealer plate as promised and take the car that night. It was a bunch of lies and false promises and then they played games with the price match from leominister hyundai. Do yourself a favor stay away from them they are a bunch of sleeze bags. We reported them to Hyundia and they didn't seem to care. We were going to purchase 2 more new vehicles from Hyundia and after this we went with Ford and my neighbor went to Toyota. More
