Parts Dept......I recently broke a exterior plastic piece on my Tacoma. I looked up the part number and saw that Toyota had a MSRP of $196 for it. Looking on the internet, I found an average price of $130 (plus shipping). None of the prices were more than $160 to my door. Since we are in a "Hard time right now", I decided to buy locally, so I contacted Findlay Toyota, Parts Dept. and was told the price was $218 plus tax.....($18 more than the MSRP). I decided just to go get the part and be finished with the project. I drove to Findlay Toyota and contacted the girl behind the parts counter. She stated the part was now $236, plus tax. I told her of my previous inquiry and Toyota's MSRP, and asked why the price kept going up. She replied, " We are independently owned & operated, we can charge what we want"..I stood there, and just shook my head from side to side, then I turned and walked out. I am aware that during tough times Car dealers turn to their Service & Parts Departments to make up the differences in lost sales....But "WOW"! More

I should have listened to him since the beginning lol. Andrew is 100% real, respectable and wont waste your time trying to insist a maintenance package not even required for your car. I have gone through 3 service reps in Findlay and they all give the same speech, up sell maintenance you dont even need, lie to you about what is needed to get but to find out it wasn't needed at all but because they wanted to make extra cash from you. Andrew Wilhems isn't like the 3 service reps Ive gone through. Im sure you're reading this to find a Service Rep. So ask for him and he will take care of you More

Not what I expected from Toyota My wife had her Highlander serviced and did not get what she paid for. Her oil was filled above the fill line. I went and spoke to the Service Manager Coty Dehnert who had a technician come out to our place to check the oil level. The Toyota Certified Technician verified it was over filled. As well as filled all 4 tires due to being under filled. I guess they just say they check your tire pressure when you pay for this service. I’m not trying to tell you to stay away. That’s completely up to you. I’m only telling you what happened to us. There are other Toyota Dealers in this town. I was given a full refund. No apology no obvious effort to make the situation right. More

Service on my 2018 Toyota I have bought or leased about 4 cars from your dealership. The last time my car was serviced in July I showed the technician the damage to the passen I have bought or leased about 4 cars from your dealership. The last time my car was serviced in July I showed the technician the damage to the passenger door. I said every car that I have leased or bought from your dealership has ended up with the same damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. When I pointed out this to the tech he said well maybe it's the way you park! Since the damage is on the passenger side of the vehicle I would have had to hit my husband's truck when I parked the vehicle. This tech was rude to suggest that I caused the damage myself. More
