Didn't need a lot of what they recommended, just what I asked to be done. I asked for a tire rotation, an oil change, and a front-end alignment - which ended being close to $300.00 which is quite a lot; co asked to be done. "Topping off the fluids", especially in 2025, is a brainless sales tactic to get more money. The only fluid that needs looking into is the one I asked to be changed; the oil. The transmission is sealed and doesn't have a way to check levels, and the only other "fluid" is my windshield wiper fluid, of which costs a grand total of $3.00 at any gas station in the vast lands of America. Apart from those two - I don't have a rear diff. so what other fluids are there to check, Findlay? If my next visit for an oil change is quoted anywhere near $65.00 or more, I won't be returning for any service in the future. Oil isn't that much, synthetic at that so not even taking from any oil reserves, labor is not that intense to remove a plastic cover, a single bolt, and a filter - 4.3qts of oil doesn't take 4hrs to change. Not only all of that, but the service tech (using that term lightly) got his greasy oily dirt riddled hands all over the hood of my car, leaving oily dirty hand prints all over the front. Great job again, Findlay. Your "techs" can't even deliver a vehicle back to the owner without cleaning the crap off their hands enough to leave it as clean as it was before handing it back over to the owner -OR - take it through the car wash you have on-site?? With the many engine rebuilds and tear-downs that I've done myself - none of my personal jobs have ever looked that bad. That's a whole lot of money for a whole lot of cleanup I had to personally do because of Findlay. I guess I'm just lucky it was only oil and wasn't brake fluid; this time. More
