I didn't feel too much pressure from Al to purchase the vehicle we were looking at, at first. Where they went wrong, as i'm sure all dealers do, is pressuring once the negotiating begins. Al gave me a strong cup of BS when he told me the "dealership receives no commission from the financing, so there's no reason why they would give me a bad APR". FALSE. After doing a lot of research, dealerships absolutely make a commission on their financing and personally choose which bank they will force on you based on how much they will make from it. In my experience, this is where we (my wife and I) felt pressure and felt lied to. We got a good price on the vehicle we purchased, but overall the experience was lowered significantly when we found out we most likely could have gotten a better loan rate through a personal auto loan and that Al and Frank did a fantastic job of BS'ing us into going through their financing program. At the end of the day, I have no one to blame but myself. It is a lesson to be learned and I recommend to anyone reading this review to do your homework before buying a car and absolutely get auto loan quotes from as many financial institutions as possible before going to the dealer. The more you know about what you can get, the more leverage you will have in negotiations. The front end of the Findlay chevy experience was great, the back end, not so much. More

They will take the time to make sure that you have everything you could want in your new vehicle. They were awesome with the financing process and keep you up to date with everything that is happening. The process was quick and painless. And ended with me getting a great deal on a brand new 2012 Chevrolet Sonic. Thank you so much to everyone at Findlay for making this such a great experience, again. Special thanks to Doug Fleming for being just amazing as always, Brian Savinda the wonderful salesman who knew his stuff and answered all of my random questions during the whole process without making me feel like I was just another sale for him. Absolutely amazing!! Thank you guys so much!! More
My husband and I leased two new cars from this dealership! We are very satisfied with our cars, we love them and the price was great. Al Hernandez was amazing, we went to him because we trusted him. Not too long ago he leased two cars to my husbands parents, so we knew he would get us a great deal and he did. Kat Chance helped me as well, when my temporary license plate was going to expire she helped me figure out what was going on! She even took care of going to the DMV for me, which was great because we all know how the DMV is lol. I will definitely be recommending this dealership! Their service is great and very friendly! I bought my first Chevrolet about 7 years ago before moving out to Las Vegas. Ever since moving here, I have always used Findlay Chevrolet as my go to dealership for service and advice. My car was final moving out to Las Vegas. Ever since moving here, I have always used Findlay Chevrolet as my go to dealership for service and advice. My car was finally getting to the point where it made sense to buy a new one, and that is why I spoke to Scott about my options in trading in my old car for a new one. Scott from the very beginning answered all my questions and made me feel at ease while never feeling pressure to buy. I was only about 50/50 about buying a new car and he laid out all of my options for me and the rest is history. I bought a brand new Chevy Traverse and could not be happier. Frank made me feel very comfortable about my purchase and even more confident I made the right decision. Mike went over every detail about my new car and stressed how important my satisfaction was, and if I ever needed anything to give him a call. I went back to Findlay Chevrolet a few days after my purchase for some paperwork, and I even got a free T-shirt! Little things like that make a huge difference to me. Builds confidence and pride and leaves no doubts about my decision. I feel that Chevrolet is a great brand and even stronger about the team at Findlay, for they literally make you feel like your not buying a car, but making an investment with them and they will support you every step of the way. That was a huge reason I bought from them. Not only did I get the impression they would be nice to me while buying, but support me over the years which was huge. More
I conducted an online search for a 2SS after being put-off by local dealerships. Findlay Chevrolet came highly recommended by an enthusiast site. After six months of studying Findlay Chevrolet's inv put-off by local dealerships. Findlay Chevrolet came highly recommended by an enthusiast site. After six months of studying Findlay Chevrolet's inventory, I found the vehicle that I had been searching for. I phoned and spoke to Gil, who listened to my concerns and provided me with serious input about the finer points about the deal that I sought. He sparked my interest such that I made an appointment and made the purchase. Gil, and his associates: John, Mike, Frank, and Reuben all were patient, friendly, and direct. They treated me like a valued customer which means that I will be a return customer. More
Scott was great. My husband and I do not enjoy shopping for cars usually feel like hostages, but this was a different experience. I would recommend him always, thanks Scott. for cars usually feel like hostages, but this was a different experience. I would recommend him always, thanks Scott. More
My husband and I have been sharing one car between the both of us for the past year. At first it was fine because he was the only one working at the time but half way thru the year I found a job and later both of us for the past year. At first it was fine because he was the only one working at the time but half way thru the year I found a job and later this month he will be starting his own business on top of his current full time job. Did I mention we have 3 kids that go to different schools and two dogs and we share a 2009 Chevy Malibu which we love for gas mileage but we really want to upgrade to a larger car with three rows and if possible purchase a second car that's compact and gets really good gas mileage for driving back and forth to work. In the last year, we've managed to put 45,000 miles on our Malibu and now have no maintenance warranty left, we're in need of new tires, our car registration is coming due and the air conditioner is on the fritz. Needless to say my husband and I have been thru hard times since the economy tanked and our credit is less than steller. However, we have made sure to make our car payments on time for the last year in hopes of getting into a bigger vehicle this year and hopefully an additional car if at all possible. Lucky for us GM Financial, sent us a promotional packet in the mail right before our Malibu's registration came due and we made another monthly payment. However, we've been told we are $7,000 upside down on our Malibu and need a lot of money to put down which we don't have or rebates to eat up the amount we're currently upside down in. When we came to the dealership my husband spoke with Jeff, one of the Sales Managers, and asked if there was someone that could assist us with trading in our vehicle for one or two additional vehicles. Jeff immediately offered us a drink and a comforable place to sit while he went to find our sales person Newell Olmstead. Newell was AMAZING!! He asked us what brought us in today and listened to what we wanted and what we didn't. He was aware of our financial situation and in the end he worked very hard to get our interest rates where we could afford BOTH payments on our NEW 2012 Chevy Traverse and a 2013 Chevy Spark. That's right...we got BOTH cars!! Because we came in late after work one night we had to come in the next day to sign the papers. This time we brought the kids. While we waited for them to process the paperwork, wash and detail our vehicles, Newell offered my girls snacks for which he paid for himself and let them check out some of the other cars in the show room while they waited for me to finish with finance. This has been the most pleasant experience my husband and I have ever had with any dealership and we will definitely be back when we are ready to trade in our cars in the future. Thank you so much to Newell and his amazing team for making our dreams come true!! We HIGHLY recommend this dealership to any and everyone and ask for NEWELL!! You won't be disappointed!! More
Worse new cars experience of 6 purchases in Las vegas. Will say anything just to get you to come back, only to then lie and not remain true to his word. He strung me along for weeks first stating a car was available only to find it was not. Then was told it was available and promised to me at (in his own words) 'exactly the price I sought' (a price clearly communicated by email. I arrive to purchase, am forced to endure 90 extra minutes of BS, only to then be offered the car at nearly $500 dollars higher. Bottom line is one should not trust this dealership. Very low ethical character, almost a full characterization of every negative stereotype one envisions of car salesmen. More
