My wife and brother will be back a bit later to look at options with a Mazda for themselves. Now it is all about the service....be back later to the reviews once I have experienced that. Cross fingers, they say it is excellent. I already have an issue with GPS...only a few days in, so will be a good test. Ms Rose allowed us to drive together, instead of insisting that she ride along while one of us waited. She had the car ready for us when we arrived, and seemed very knowledgeable about the details regarding options, trim levels, etc. If we asked a question she didn’t have an answer for, she promised to have it for us by the time we returned. She was very relaxed and low-key about the visit, and understood when we explained why the Miata, as great as it was, was not the car for us. Respectful, Knowledgeable, Fun I went to Skyland Automotive to look at the outgoing 2018 mazda mx-5. I wasn't ambushed as I had been at other dealerships in the past. I was approached by Jewel in what I felt to be an appropriate amount of time. She was extremely knowledgeable about the mx-5 and had some cool facts about the car I hadn't come across in my research of the vehicle leading up to my purchase. She accommodated my wanting of a longer mixed driving test drive. I had concerns of the cabin noise at highway speeds. Surprisingly quiet fyi. She was all smiles and made you feel like family, as cliché as that may sound. That's how car buying should be if you want to be able to ask all the right questions when buying a vehicle. Which brings us to the next step if you're still following along. The financing, I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan for this step. The continued vibe of feeling like you're talking with someone who isn't there just building their stats. He listened first to my questions, then asked qualifying questions to break down what I was after to complete my purchase and protect it. I had prequalified for my purchase before stepping on the lot and he got me a better rate before I signed the line with the same lender. That's shows integrity and pride in his work in my opinion. I would 100% recommend the people of this dealership to anyone wanting to put a new vehicle in their driveway. If you stop in there make sure to say hi to Sara with the onsite Allstate, she knows where all the good snacks and coffee are and she's great to talk to with. Remember it's the people at any business that makes that business what it is. They can take a place and lift up and just as easily bring it down. More
