Our sales experience with Skyland was Great with Mark Hopkins! Unfortunately that's where the great ended. Every time we have had to come for any kind of service it has been nearly impossible to get phon Hopkins! Unfortunately that's where the great ended. Every time we have had to come for any kind of service it has been nearly impossible to get phone calls returned or appointments made. Then when we get appt. and get over there (35 to 40 miles away) they seem to never have what we made an appointment to get so we have to make another trip. Last week my husband had an appointment Tuesday to get tires, alignment, inspection, and oil change. They knew what he had an appointment for, but when he got there they didn't even have any tires! He got oil change and new wipers and another appointment the next day at 8:00. He sat there for well over 2 hours before they came and told him that the new tires were defective and they couldn't put the old ones back on because they had been damaged during removal. They had told him Tuesday that they usually keep those tires in stock, yet they only ordered 2!? He was told that they were getting him a rental to drive over night... it never came. At 12:00, after having waited around all day, he finally went and told them they were going to have to get him something or he would be late for work. Then he was told that they had the tires and it wouldn't be much longer so he told them to forget the alignment. He finally got the car back after 1:30. We paid $428 and some cents for two tires!!-after wasting away over 5 1/2 hours! They could have at least had the decency to give a discount!! Between the two days we lost over 7 1/2 hours of time-- plus over 2 hours of travel time and gas-- and over $470!!! The only reason we ever intend to return is for the oil changes that are already paid for....after that we will most definitely find somewhere that values our business. We used to get calls to evaluate our service experience--apparently that's not important anymore. More

Fast forward to Jan, 2013, my wife and I recently purchased a 2012 Ram 3500HD Crew Cab truck in Longhorn Trim....this vehicle made the 68th vehicle purchased from Skyland Automotive by either my wife and I, and family and friends that I've recommended to buy from Skyland over the last, almost 17 years now. Yes, we "keep coming back"...The owner, Mr. Parker is a real gentleman and one of the reasons I keep coming back. Tony Sellers and Dwayne Streetman have "bent over backwards" through the years to do everything within their power to make my buying experience "as good as it could be"...Most Recently, Dwayne has really worked hard to take care of delivery of my recent purchase and I am greatly appreciative of the time he spent in seeing to my needs. Can't stop without saying something about "my salesman", Jeremy Shea...He's the best...he's the MAIN reason I keep coming back. He is not only my salesperson but has become a good friend over the years and he has went " above and beyond" to do everything within his power to help us purchase cars, trucks, SUV's, whatever and keep them maintained and "be there for us" when questions needed answering. Not only for my wife and I but also our extended family. Just wanted to share with the great folks at Skyland and thank them for all the years of "Sales and Service" they've provided for my wife, my family, friends and myself. I've never had any of them come back to me and say anything bad about Skyland Automotive. Heres hoping this relationship continues...Again, thank you Mr. Parker, Dwayne Streetman, and big thank you to Jeremy Shea. Also a special thanks to Jan Perkins and Ann Parker, two young ladies who take care of all the financial paperwork and always have a smile on their face and work at doing their best to make that part of the buying process as fast and painless as possible, you're both great at your jobs. thank you all, Jim & Kathy Allen More
We have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Extended Sport that is only two years old. Since the first year we have owned it, when we turn the key it wouldn't turn on. We took it to EGolf, they said it was the computer an two years old. Since the first year we have owned it, when we turn the key it wouldn't turn on. We took it to EGolf, they said it was the computer and that it was fixed-- but the problem happened again. We took it to Skyland, they replaced the computer. We are near the end of the 36,000 bumper to bumper warranty. I asked the serviceman, Bob, if he could kindly put a note in his system stating this is a pre-existing problem and that if it goes out of warranty, they would take care of it. He acted like I asked him to give me his first born. We discussed and he would not do it. I left feeling a little upset and that Bob was talking down to me. I was planning on calling Chrysler the next day to report Bob. The next day, my front windows would not go up or down. I called Bob in the morning to address the problem and to ask to please put the note on my account. Well if he acted rude the first day, it was nowhere as close to how rude and ignorant he was to me the following day...for their mistake. He said comments such as "Are ya finished?!?" "I'll Tell ya what" ... He came NO WHERE close to giving an apology for his serviceman obviously disconnecting something with my windows. In fact, Bob made sure to point out to me that "ya know, the computer's connected to a lot of things in the vehicle". Ya know, I think I'm a pretty intelligent woman with a Master's Degree and can figure out that the computer probably IS connected to a lot of things in the vehicle, Bob. Here’s the kicker, I called another dealer to ask about the situation and they said the computer being replaced is not why the windows do not work because they are actually NOT connected. Wrong again Bob. Needless to say this was the worst customer service experience in my life. I have never been spoken to or yelled at by someone like this. I asked for the manager numerous times to speak to because Mr. Bob would not stop yelling, and I had to pretty much tell him to have his manager call me back and hang up. It was astounding to me. Nowhere in the conversation was there "we're sorry for our mistake", "I'm sorry for your inconvenience". Someone has to work on their customer service skills and my guess would be Bob in Service. I don’t even like saying “Bob in Service”—it is more like “Bob in Disservice”. More
We were quoted $195 and 2 hours for a repair on our vehicle. 10 days later and a new estimate of over $1,700 and we still do not have our vehicle back. The service department has not returned messages vehicle. 10 days later and a new estimate of over $1,700 and we still do not have our vehicle back. Very good experience in the service that I recieved in purchasing a new vehicle. I thought the service was good. Even though the threat of rain coming, Jeremy was good in describing the vehicle to me and purchasing a new vehicle. I thought the service was good.
