This was the best buying experience of my life. Just like Mr. Kerbeck says on TV no BS and that's exactly the way it went. I visited Kerbeck on Thurs.. The selection of vehicles was awesome. I was then informed that Kerbeck was extending the free servicing for Two more years beyond what it had left and the monthly payment that we had already agreed upon was going to be less, This just blew me away. I would not hesitate to recommend Kerbeck to any one and I already have. The salesman spent a lot of time with me and my wife in the car to make sure we were happy and all of the employees were great. Disappointing Cadillac Service Experience A little over 2 years ago, I purchased a Cadillac ATS from Kerbeck in Atlantic City. I am not from the A.C. area so servicing the vehicle there woul A little over 2 years ago, I purchased a Cadillac ATS from Kerbeck in Atlantic City. I am not from the A.C. area so servicing the vehicle there would not be convenient. However, I was assured I could take my car to any Cadilac dealer for warranty-related work as well as take full advantage of the Cadillac Shield Maintenance Program. This was my first experience with Cadillac and truly expected to be "wowed" by the customer service a premium brand supposedly offers. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Part of the service experience is supposed to include getting a comparable Cadillac loaner vehicle when the car is being serviced. The problem with F.C. Kerbeck is if you bring your car in for service after 5:00, the Cadillac service department is closed and customers are required to bring their car to the Buick service area. They don't seem to want to be bothered and the service advisor I dealt with on my last visit, couldn't have made that more abundantly clear. In the days leading up to this visit, when I called to make the appointment to bring the car in for the fifth (yes 5th) recall, I specifically requested a loaner vehicle. When I arrived at the service desk, the service advisor barely acknowledged my presence and when I mentioned I made arrangements for a loaner, he abruptly replied "I don't know anything about that" as he continued typing away at his keyboard. Finally, after a somewhat lengthy waith during which time I was offered no explanation with regard to what was going on, a representative from Enterprise car rental appeared. I had to get in her jeep and ride over to the local Enterprise office where I was required to present a credit card on which a $50 hold was placed, only to be given a Chevy Malibu. This is not my idea of a premium customer service experience! Prior to getting the ATS, I had several Pontiacs and received impeccable service on them from the local Pontiac dealer. Needless to say, the whole experience with Cadillac has been disappointing at best. Not only am I done with F.C. Kerbeck, I'm done with Cadillac! Kudos to F.C. Kerbeck's service department as they managed to do what none of my friends could, and that is turn me into an import buyer. My next vehicle will be a Lexus IS or BMW 3 series. More
