I bought a car from this great dealer (Executive Auto Wholesale in Manassas) and I it was TOTALLY WONDERFUL experience! I worked with both Shawn and Alex (I understood they are business owners) and t Wholesale in Manassas) and I it was TOTALLY WONDERFUL experience! I worked with both Shawn and Alex (I understood they are business owners) and they gave me best used car buying experience I ever had! They advised me on the car, gave me many pricing options, explained all procedures and they both put extra time to explain the limited warranty restrictions (read my lips: it is a limited warranty, to protect buyer from major issues, not to cover anything you dream of!). They test drove the car many times before I bought it but they did additional test drive with me twice. The car was in great WHOLESALE price and is still serving me well (3 years passed - no issues with the car whatsoever!). It was VW Passat 1999 - for a great price I got perfect quality of a Germany-engineered car and a great customer service experience! Since the time I bought the car I referred many many of my best friends to these guys. Please give me a call (202 787 0112), or e-mail me at mtsgtz@gmail.com and I am more than willing to confirm all I said and vouch for this dealer! Honesty and Hard Work - 100% I want to add that I have read all reviews about the dealer (and most of them are very positive) but I was also surprised how people are so easy to put blame on others for their 'wishful thinking' and sometimes, yes - stupidity... and attempt to damage image of dealers writing their irresponsible reviews (I understand, it is not their business, they always write anonymously and dealer cannot respond to their reviews...). Shawn, Alex - keep up the good job! Mati G. (202 787 0112) More

First off, the car we purchased was at a good proce and was very clean. That was the good part. When my son was driving it home, the check engine light came on. I instructed him to drive it back to the was very clean. That was the good part. When my son was driving it home, the check engine light came on. I instructed him to drive it back to the dealership immediately. To their credit, they plugged it up to a diagnstic machine and identified a problem that was "fixed" with a spark plug. Unfortunately, the fix did not work for more than a few miles and we were back in the same situation. I called them back and after hearing...."this guy is really getting on my nerves" in the background...I was told that it is not serious unless the light is blinking. I was told "just don't worry about it." It was an insult quite frankly. I took the car to a local mechanic that specializes in foreign cars and had it checked out. Turned out that the spark plug repair was not done properly. A gasket was not re-installed. Fortunately for us, the rest of the car checked out fine. We were also given the wrong radio code. I called to explain that the serial numbers did not match the card we were given and I was told, in so many words, too bad for me. It will cost $60 at an Audi dealer to get the correct code. (Based on what my son told me, I believe that they knew the code was not correct.) Finally, I called to tell them I was missing the title paperwork and they said I had everything. I just found out today that they had held the paperwork until my check cleared. I understand why they thought that necessary. I don't understand why they could not be honest about it. Bottom line: I do not trust these guys to tell the truth. After reading some of these other reviews, I think I got lucky. More
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!! very bad experience that we will learn from. This "dealership" doesnt even deserve this term. It was late in the afternoon after a long day of used car shopp experience that we will learn from. This "dealership" doesnt even deserve this term. It was late in the afternoon after a long day of used car shopping for my wife and I on 3/29 and I wish we had not bought anything and just kept on looking later. When we test drove the 1997 Honda Accord with 110k miles, the ABS light was on and when I told the seller this, he said that it meant it was working... it clearly said in the users manual that if it was lit it was defective. They had a mechanic test the unit who reported that it was just a "sensor" issue that is an easy an inexpensive fix. To give us assurance in buying the vehicle, the seller took some off the purchase price and gave us in writing the "Level 2" warrenty coverage so that if it was anything else with the ABS or other systems that were faulty it would be paid for. We let him know that we were going to bring the car to our mechanic for an overview when we got home to maryland so if any of the items covered in the warrenty were defective we would be able to have them fixed, which he agreed was a great idea. With this assurance of the warrenty through an outside agency we made our deal and began signing the paper work. While my wife and I were signing the papers for our bank loan, the older brother let another customer test drive the car we were buying!!! I imagine he did this to attempt a bidding war. My wife let our seller have it for this unprofessional situation and he brought it to his brothers attention. We ended up with the car and Level 2 warrenty, drove away and were relieved to have the used car buying experience over for the moment. The car was brought to our mechanic on monday, who found that it wasnt just the ABS "sensor" that was defective, but the whole system did not work, there were leaks in the oil line, the starter needed to be replaced among a few other things for about 2000 worth of work. The ABS system was covered on the "Level 2" warrenty, which is the only reason we bought the car, so my wife called the warrenty company who in turn said that they dont offer warrenties for cars that old and that it was a problem between us and the company we bought the car from, who shouldnt have given us the warrenty. My wife then called the "dealership" who basically told her there is nothing they can do, the car was sold As Is and "good luck sweetheart" if we think there is anything we can do about it and hung up on her. In our minds, we bought the car along with a warrenty. If the warrenty is void from the outside company, we should be able to bring the car back to the dealer. As of now, we are still debating what to do, but whether we fight it by suing the company or not, it is a lesson learned on trusting your instinct with these slimballs. I will be in the market for another used car this fall, and I promise I will not be shopping here! We are VERY dissapointed with the service and the straight lies and deceipt from this wanna be dealership and hope that anyone who reads this and wants a reliable car and not just a junker stays away from executive auto wholesaler! Beware of this dealer! I went to buy a car which I test drove. During the test drive, I stopped the car to check if all lights and all controls were working properly. After I was satisfied, I tried startin drove. During the test drive, I stopped the car to check if all lights and all controls were working properly. After I was satisfied, I tried starting the car to return to the dealer. But the car wouldn't start. When I called up the dealer, he started shouting at me that I had drained the battery and so it wouldn't start. He came to the place where I had parked the car and exploded at me with f* word and racist remarks. He even said 'I dont want to deal with you..not with any INDIAN; all they do is find faults and negotiate' and left the scene to fetch a mechanic. I had to walk to the dealership where a friend was waiting for me. The most horrible car buying experience ever. I wonder how such people are still in business? I would never recommend Executive wholesale to anyone ever. :@ More
Very friendly when a potential sale was in their sights. Told by salesman that he and his brother are the owners...his brother does the buying and he sells the cars. He was very pleasant and forthcoming wh Told by salesman that he and his brother are the owners...his brother does the buying and he sells the cars. He was very pleasant and forthcoming while we checked inventory and test-drove one of his cars. Told us car was in great shape, ice cold a/c, some minor things wrong, but he could provide us with websites to purchase parts at low prices. We noted minor issues...cosmetics, stereo inoperable, LCD required replacement...no real concerns since it was a used car. We were entirely upfront with him throughout. Asked if we could have the car checked by our mechanic. Was told, no problem. Told the salesman we lived approximately 40 miles away; that's where our mechanic is located. Again, told it would be no problem. To hold vehicle, paid non-refundable $300 deposit (receive store credit if car not purchased). I articulated that we would like to purchase the vehicle, but, that final decision to purchase would still be subject to mechanic's assessment. A few days later, called to confirm that we would be picking-up car next day for mechanic's assessment. Spoke to another person (buyer), who stated they absolutely DO NOT allow the cars off the lot to be assessed by outside mechanics. Since we had made arrangement with brother (seller), we went there to pick-up car. He was not there, and had to be contacted by phone via one of his employees. Our mechanic told us to stay away from deal on the car, citing leaking oil, head gasket shot, would require engine to be pulled and all oil system gaskets/seals to be replaced at approx $2,500 cost, a/c leaking, bubble in rubber on tire surface, transmission fluid low and black, other issues...total repairs/servicing would be in the neighborhood of $3,500. Their observation was that it appeared car was cleaned well enough to hide symptoms of these defects. Returned car and told salesman what the mechanic reported to us, and expressed preference to pass on car, but would be interested in looking for another car to buy from his inventory (since we had $300 store credit from deposit). He turned indignant and rude immediately: Do you believe your mechanic? It's a used car...of course it has some things wrong. That's why we don't let cars off the lot to be assessed by buyers' mechanics. You cost me a sale because someone else was interested in buying the car. I'll sell that car at full price. You can look at my inventory, but cannot take the car off the lot to be checked out and you'll pay full price. He was so rude that we decided the $300 deposit wasn't worth dealing with someone as unprofessional and untrustworthy as he. I found it troubling that he would boast that he would sell this car to someone else at full price knowing that it had major deficiencies that he, perhaps, may not have known about previously, but certainly did after I informed him what our mechanics...who had no vested interest in this car...had found. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised at the deficiencies that were uncovered...in the car or the owners. I feel badly that some unsuspecting person will purchase this car, then have to sink a lot more money into it to make it right. More
After a few short months the car we purchased blew transmission and their so-called "warranty" was useless. Needless to say i would never purchase anything from them again. transmission and their so-called "warranty" was useless. Needless to say i would never purchase anything from them again. More
After reading the previous reviews I was apprehensive, but still liked several of the cars on the lot; so I discussed my concerns with the owners and was satisfied with their response. They were up front but still liked several of the cars on the lot; so I discussed my concerns with the owners and was satisfied with their response. They were up front with the terms of the contract, and I understood I should always spend a few dollars to get a preowned car checked out. I found a few minor issues, which were resolved prior to purchase, and afterwards I was fully aware I was signing an "as is" contract. I pulled down the Carfax Reports ($32 unlimited for a month) on the ones I was considering, checked over the internet for any problems inherent to the vehicle(s) I was interested in, and took it to a VW Dealership and got a complete diagnostic ($100-$150). We had some minor issues that we negotiated through and they were more than willing to work with me. Do your homework and ask the right questions. I am completely satisfied with the car I bought and the service I received. I'd go back. More
As other customers said, this dealership is truly liers,Frauds, and Scammers.I've never had such a horrible experience before.I wish I could see these comments earlier. They appeared friendly and liers,Frauds, and Scammers.I've never had such a horrible experience before.I wish I could see these comments earlier. They appeared friendly and honest before your purchase. They promised their cars are certified and said you are well taken care of.But on the second day of my purchase my car is smoking in the engine and cost me 2k to repair and their warranty is just a piece of crap. Their people yelled on the phone"stop calling me" and even said face to face rudely "it's none of our business but your own problem now". I want to warn other people to get away as far as possible from this dealer. Don't believe them at all. More
