Came in on a Saturday to look for a new car/van. Found a Town and Country that was loaded and beautiful. Price was fair. Did a trade-in. I hate to haggle for a price. I told them what I was willing to p Town and Country that was loaded and beautiful. Price was fair. Did a trade-in. I hate to haggle for a price. I told them what I was willing to pay, they brought the manager over, and we came to a fair price. It took awhile for the financing person, but she was awesome. The banks closed and we still did not finish shopping for the best rates, so they sent me home with the van for the weekend (gas included!)It gave me the opportunity to test the van and we went back on Monday for final paper work. Rate was better than we were initially told-nice bonus! No real negative issues, except it was a wait and it would have been nice to have been offered something to drink. I was told they had a vending machine. Bottle of water would have costed then about 25 cents! More
This was the absolute worst experience at a delearship I have ever had. They tried to push me around and trick me into buying a vehicle making it seem like I was trying to steal a vehicle from them. We purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee from Eric Ewald at Ewald Automotive Group. I hate it when a salesman or sales manager is not extremely knowledgeable about the car you are buying and the competition. Ewald Automotive Group. I hate it when a salesman or sales manager is not extremely knowledgeable about the car you are buying and the competition. Eric is the opposite. He has excellent knowledge of the Jeep line and all of the competition. He is friendly but not pushy. He is also accommodating, and we were able to purchase a new vehicle at a good price with an excellent value for our trade. There was no haggling. We will give Ewald Automotive the first shot on our next car purchase. More

I was interested in a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and checked several sources to locate and price the vehicle I wanted. Using the internet and visiting a number of dealerdships I was most impressed with checked several sources to locate and price the vehicle I wanted. Using the internet and visiting a number of dealerdships I was most impressed with the car buying experience at the Ewald Dealership. While working with Eric Ewald and Bruce Lavine I was given a very thorough presentation of the vehicle. This was something I had never previously experienced when looking to purchase a vehicle. The vehicle price and finance rates were the best that I was able to obtain without having to negotiate. I highly recommend th dealership. More
I bought a used 2007 Town and Country and went to Ewald Chrysler in Oconomowoc for routine service. For the two years I had service there, I never left feeling good about the experience. The last time Chrysler in Oconomowoc for routine service. For the two years I had service there, I never left feeling good about the experience. The last time I was there (which will be THE last), I forgot to mention an issue during the write-up and he got mad at me because he had already printed the sheet. I guess it was my fault for dropping off late on a Friday. The issue never did make onto the work order. I approved the work order for $220 dollars and got a call that the repairs would be $900. When I asked her to explain what the repairs were for, she said she would have to call me back after talking to the tech. I instead went to get my van because they would be closing in an hour. I got there and told her I did not have time to do the repairs, I got the magic total for $220. I indicated I would not be paying $220 dollars for an oil-change, so she dropped off everything but the diagnostic (the info I had already given them in the hopes to save the rip-off $40 bucks they charge to plug the van into a computer) and the oil-change. The brakes I has replaced previously have been squeaking since they were put on. When I pressed the service manager, he said if I had put on the ceramic pads, I would not have had the problem. I think a reputable dealership would not offer a pad that squeaks continuously and if they do, they should mention it before the work is done. Finally I spoke to Eric Ewald who runs the dealership. I asked him to waive the diagnostic and we could just go our separate ways. He told me he does not pay customers go away and would not waive the charge. Well, I've gone away and won't return. Just makes me regret not paying a little more for the Toyota Sienna. Next time. More
