Yes I would recommend this dealer ship Ettleson.I was looking for a new 2012 car.Ettleson was my first stop.I pulled into the car lot and got out, and was looking at some cars. When salesman Gino Dinella looking for a new 2012 car.Ettleson was my first stop.I pulled into the car lot and got out, and was looking at some cars. When salesman Gino Dinella came up to me.He introduce him self and ask if he could help me.I told him what I was looking for.He showed me a car but it didnot have a few things that I wanted on it.I saw the Elantra touring on the floor .I asked for a price on both cars.He was so friendly and pleasant and very helpful. He also had Rich Ginnons help me.I am not a younger person and I have been to many dealers before. All they did was try and pressure you in to buying a car.I didnot get this at Ettleson.Gino and Rich where so helpfull.I went home that day with a new car. Before I left Dino went over every thing on the car with me.Thank you Dino. One happy customer.Geraldine M.Docekal More
I bought a used Santa Fe a few years ago from Joel Stevic (I think that's how to spell his name). It was a pleasant experience then and now I bought a 2013 Elantra from him. He's a good, honest, no games k (I think that's how to spell his name). It was a pleasant experience then and now I bought a 2013 Elantra from him. He's a good, honest, no games kind of a guy and I am highly recommending him. More
Went in to test drive specifically the new Veloster. Wasn’t pressured to try any others, which was awesome! Told Gino what I wanted. He found a few that could be brought in with the features I wanted wh Wasn’t pressured to try any others, which was awesome! Told Gino what I wanted. He found a few that could be brought in with the features I wanted while we were on the test drive, so when we got back I could compare my options and prices, very EFFICIENT use of his time and mine! Picked the model more in my price range and they had it delivered on time just as promised. Picked it up, decided I regretted not getting an option I really did end up wanting and everyone went above and beyond to do what could be done to get me in the car with all the options I wanted. I love my Veloster and I definitely appreciate all the guys that dealt with me being a such a pain. They were more than accomidating and understanding throughout the whole process, you would have thought I was buying a brand new lambo with the way they went all out and the treatment I recieved. They are a wonderful group of people! Couldn’t have asked for a better first new car buying experience :) More
I had been considering an Elantra as well as evaluating other competitors for over a year. Have visited several Chicagoland Hyundai dealerships and was treated well at all of them. However, several tried t other competitors for over a year. Have visited several Chicagoland Hyundai dealerships and was treated well at all of them. However, several tried to overprice the car and force the sale of additional equipment that I did not want. I felt ZERO pressure from the Internet Sales manager JD Wilson, who went out of his way to assist me with locating the exact vehicle that I wanted. My vehicle's pricing was in line with my researched best price, and my trade-in was fairly priced as well. At no time did I feel like I was being "jerked around" and felt respected as a potential buyer. The buying process was smooth, my Elantra GLS was delivered promptly and I am impressed with the initial quality and fit and finish of my new ride. JD took the time to show me the service area as well as introduce me to the service staff. I am rating my car buying experience at Ettelson Hyundai as 5 stars. More
Please do not purchase a vehicle from there. The manager and finance gentleman that were on staff when we were there were extremely rude and unprofessional. Please consider other Hyundai Dealers when you wa and finance gentleman that were on staff when we were there were extremely rude and unprofessional. Please consider other Hyundai Dealers when you want to purchase a car. We were treated with such disrespect when we told them that the price they were giving us was not what we were looking for. We have taken our business elsewhere. More
I would rate this place as a 0 star if I could. I went with my mom for her to get a new Elantra. She got the same sales man as the one that she talked to 2 weeks previous that tried to pressure her into g with my mom for her to get a new Elantra. She got the same sales man as the one that she talked to 2 weeks previous that tried to pressure her into getting a car while here's was in service, who was also the same one that sold her her current Elantra. After getting the payoff and what not, he then tells my mom that he would give her 6500 for her 08 with 28000 miles, which was the same amount that the 10s had on them. Given, it had damage from my sister that he swore would cost them a couple thousand to repair and then it would be on the carfax. That doesn't happen because it won't be claimed through insurance, the dealer would pay for it through their body shop and then pay the least amount possible. So, after we said no, he came back with telling us that they would do 7000, we still said no, then he came back with the last offer of 7500. Well, that wasn't the last offer, then they said 8500. Not bad, that is about right, but we said possibly. Mind you, she wants a lease now because she is getting older and just wants a new car every 3 years. So, the exact one she wanted we were told was on its way from another dealer. That was a lie. Because when we received the payment info for the new one, he tried to put her in a different color combination then the one she wanted and then said that he wouldn't be able to get the other car for a couple days. So, we had enough and we left after the horrible deal she got on her Santa Fe where the told her they would pay it off and give her a little more. Yea, she owned 1500 and received 1700. The car was blue booked at the time for about 8000 as a trade. But she had just gotten out of the hospital after a knee replacement and I was out of town when this happened. So, long story short, never go here, you will get so much smoke blown up your you know what and get ripped off. Esp don't deal with the salesperson Bob. I was about to knock him out when he told my mom that they would give her 8000 but she would have to give him a review and rate him as a 10 for it. No, if I could actually post something on their website I would, but they won't let me. Pugi of Downers Grove has been great, and Gus has been a great and understanding salesperson. We have had no problems and she is about to sign for her new car right now. More
My experience at Ettleson Hyundai was horrible! My sister and I came in to look at cars and we we're looking for 15 minutes before anyone even came out to help us. There were about 3 salesmen inside doing NO and I came in to look at cars and we we're looking for 15 minutes before anyone even came out to help us. There were about 3 salesmen inside doing NOTHING and they all saw us and only one came out after 15 minutes that they had seen us to just let us know that he'd be inside if we needed anything. Then when we wanted a quote on a car we liked, we went inside and the same salesman that had approached us saw us and walked the other way (his name was Tim or Tom I believe). So since he walked away I asked the salesman closest to the door to give me a quote and his name was Coydel Wilson. He was the RUDEST salesmen I have ever met!!!!!!!! I asked him for a quote on a car and asked him if he could print it out for me and he replied saying " No I can't print it out for you. But I can tell you what you can do- you can write it down yourself". WORST experience ever!!!! WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALER and if anyone I know plans to go there I will definitely talk them out of not going. More
I went to the dealership knowing the model of car I wanted and also what a fair, new price would be. JD didn't try to upsell me, but was very helpful and understood where I was coming from. He beat 5 o wanted and also what a fair, new price would be. JD didn't try to upsell me, but was very helpful and understood where I was coming from. He beat 5 other quotes without me wheeling and dealing and got a new car delivered within 1 week. My other car had gotten totaled and JD offered to supply me with a loaner if the car I wanted didn't arrive in time, so I was covered either way. Highly recommend JD and Ettleson Hyundai. More
After attending this years Auto Show in Chicago, I fell in love with the Hyundai Tucson. I did some research and decided this was the vehicle for me. My son advised me that I check out cars.com to see wh in love with the Hyundai Tucson. I did some research and decided this was the vehicle for me. My son advised me that I check out cars.com to see what vehicles were available in our area. I had certain options and colors in mind and it seems that the Tucson is currently a very popular vehicle. I did find one available through Ettleson Hyundai and called to see if the vehicle was still available. Salesman Craig Dixon was very friendly and helpful. He checked that the specific vehicle was still available and answered some of my questions. The vehicle was almost exactly what I wanted except it did not have a sun roof or navigation system. I decided that I was going to continue to wait until the right vehicle was available. Several days later, I saw that the dealership had a few more vehicles available. Again I contacted Craig to verify their availability. Once again he was very helpful and told me to give him a call when I was coming and he would have the vehicles pulled up to the front. Last Saturday my husband and I decided to stop at a dealership closer to our home. We were not happy with the salesman and his pressure to sell us a vehicle. This salesman assured me on the phone that if he didn't have the vehicle, he would find it for me. Well that was not the case when we arrived. I told him that I had seen a few at Ettleson. He basically told me to go to Ettleson and check them out, that it was not cost effective for them to transfer a vehicle. My husband and I left the dealer and stopped at home. Once again, I contacted Craig and he told us to come by and look at the vehicles. We got the title to our trade in and headed to Ettleson. Craig did have the vehicles right in front and I pretty much knew that I was leaving with a new vehicle..... Now for the fun part, the pricing. I was prepared for many hours of going back and forth with the normal car buying experience. However, this was not the case with Craig as our salesman. We decided on a fair price rather quickly and entire process was painless. While we were in with financing, my vehicle was washed and ready to go. Craig answered all of our questions about the vehicle and even showed me how to work certain features before we left. Never did we feel rushed even though I knew Craig was scheduled to go home over an hour ago. I would recommend Ettleson Hyundai and ask for Craig Dixon. I promise you will be pleased. Sincerely, Mary Jo Liccar More
