I will never do business with this dealer ever again! We ordered a 2023 F250 Lariat back in October 2022 through Essential Ford of Stuart, the truck arrived on April 14th 2023. I was called on the following Saturday by my salesman who was great his name is Justin. Randy Allen the GM got on the phone with Ford and got the financing done however they tried to get me to sign papers at 18.99% which I found out is against Florida law! After talking it over with my wife I went back in on Sunday and said that interest rate was never gonna happen. Brandon in finance told me to wait till Monday and let him speak with Ford. At 10:25 am on Monday Brandon called me and let me know the interest had been lowered a bunch. I asked him to give till noon and let me speak with my wife, he did. At 12:30 I called Brandon back and told him yes and we will be in later after work to sign papers. At 5:30 I called Brandon to let him know we were headed over to sign papers, He then informed me that my truck that I ordered and that I had a cash deposit on had been sold right out from under me!! Randy Allen the GM and Aj (another manager) sold my truck out from under me without so much as a phone call! They sold it for way over MSRP witch is what I was getting for because I ordered it and had to wait just so these guys could make more money!! Randy promised he would make it right and find me something. I ended up settling for an XLT and needed the fifth wheel prep package installed because thats how I ordered my truck. Well I'm still waiting for the prep package that BTW they are charging me for at the tune of $2500 plus all their crap! now my payment is almost the same as it was gonna be for a Lariat! These managers are all about money and not about the customer! I will be taking my fleet maintenance elsewhere! More
Had my car in for service for a click coming from the right front wheel. Took the car in and the dealer couldn't duplicate the problem so I had to drive there and do a road test with the technician. We didn't make it out of the parking lot and he acknowledged the problem. Had it fixed but had problems after that. Took the car back in for a shake. Gina the advisor said they took it for a road test and told I needed tires. That wasn't the problem, Not once did they hoist the car and notice the play in the front wheel. If they would have went through the process, they would have know that it is a wheel bearing problem which I knew before coming in. Also asked for a nail repair in the left tire which they didn't even bother with because I wouldn't buy new tires. The advisor when asked about eliminating the wheel bearing, told me my car is out of warranty, which was false my car is a CPO with power train to 100k. You can change the name of the dealer but the sneaky, dishonest practices haven't left this place. A shame that they would refuse one service request because I refused to spend 1300 on tires that weren't needed.Take the time do do to another dealer than this one!!! More
DO NOT ORDER AN F150 Lightning from Essential Ford. We took delivery of our Lightning on 01/14/2023 after waiting 605 days from when we first placed a reservation for it. Regardless of the response you see below this review, the facts are as follows; if you make the same mistake I did and order an F150 Lightning from this location (and yes, I mean order, not find something on the lot, if you order through Ford and choose this dealership, this is what happened to us): - You WILL pay over MSRP. We were charged $2,193 more than sticker on our order after being told TWICE that they do not charge over MSRP. We asked twice; once when we made the reservation and again before converting the order as this is the only opportunity to switch dealerships without losing your place in line. You may be told otherwise, but the increase comes in the form of “required dealer installed services” in the form of their Essential Package. we were told about these additional charges 8 days before we were supposed to take delivery. When we refused to pay extra they stated that if we don’t pay the extra amount, they would sell the vehicle to someone else. They could have easily taken these charges off, left the vehicle as ordered by me from Ford as it was still in transit, but they refused, modified my vehicle and threatened to sell it to someone else if we didn’t accept the three additional charges. If you don’t believe me, have them put it in writing that they won’t charge over MSRP, and they won’t add on any packages you didn’t configure from Ford directly. They didn’t for us after multiple requests (that they put in writing they don’t charge over MSRP). - Want to get your windows tinted at that shop you like to use? It’s going to cost you extra, because the dealership requires you to accept their above mentioned package including window tinting. We have to now have the ‘work’ they did removed to have it done properly. - “Sweet, they’re running a $1,000 VISA promo” No they’re not, at least not for the Lightning as that was also mentioned just before we were to pick up the vehicle. - Lastly and it’s just the icing on the cake, but part of the required package was door edge guards. They did both passenger side doors and completely forgot to do the drivers side doors. While we just discovered this omission during a news interview, it really makes us wonder what all of the extra charges were that we paid for if the work was done or even completed at all 🤷🏻♂️. Make better choices in dealerships than I did. The truck is AMAZING and I cannot say enough good things about it, which is the exact opposite of the experience I had here. More
I have purchased at least 4 cars in the past 3 years and 2 from this dealership. I went in for an oil change and looked at the vehicles on the lot and found something I was interested in and started the pro 2 from this dealership. It turns out that they added new fees not discussed and undervalued my trade between 8 and 10 k under value. I have traded many times and understand what to expect. This dealership has had 2 names and has gone downhill drastically. There are many other ford dealerships who are a better choice. In opinion the sales mangers at this dealership can't be trusted and you should run away from Essential Ford in Stuart. More

I see they go through managers very often- guess it's hard to find that have to do all the DIRTY work!! I will never go to this dealership!! Working hard to be the worst Ford dealership in North America. I've purchased 4 Fords in the past 10 years and have never been treated more poorly. I TOOK MY 2013 F-250 IN BECAUSE I WAS DRIVING ON TURNPIKE HIT A BUMP AND FRONT END WENT CRAZY. I TOOK OVER TO ESSENTIAL FORD THEY SAID THAT THEY CALL THAT A DEATH WOBBLE. I ALSO TOLD THEM WHEN I TRY TO PUT T HIT A BUMP AND FRONT END WENT CRAZY. I TOOK OVER TO ESSENTIAL FORD THEY SAID THAT THEY CALL THAT A DEATH WOBBLE. I ALSO TOLD THEM WHEN I TRY TO PUT THE TRUCK IN DRIVE IT MAKE A LOUD NOISE AFTER 4 DAY THEY CALL ME TOLD ME IT WAS READY THEY TOLD ME THEY FIX THE BALL JOINTS AND THEY COULDN'T FIND OUT THE LOUD NOISE. THEY SAID IT DIDN'T MAKE THE NOISE. THEY NEXT MORNING IT MADE THE NOISE I TOOK MY TRUCK TO AL PACKER IN WPB HE FOUND THE PROBLEM IN 5 MIN, BUT THEY SO BACK UP THEY COULDN'T FIX IT. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS MY U -JOINTS. COMING FROM WPB GOING 70 MPH TRUCK HIT A BUMP AND MY TRUCK WENT INTO A DEATH WOBBLE AGAIN RIGHT BESIDE A 18 WHEELER I CAME 2 INCHES FROM HITTING THAT TRUCK. I TOOK THE TRUCK BACK TALK WITH SERVICE MANAGER AND HE TOLD ME U HAVE TO REALIZE THAT YOU HAVE A 2013 I LOST IT ON HIS xxx. MY TRUCK ONLY HAVE 90,000 MILES ON IT AND MY TRUCK IS UNDER WARRANTY. THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER DEDUCTIBLE FOR SOMETHING THEY SUPPOSED TO FIXED IN THE 1ST PLACE.
