Let me start by saying that everyone I've met at Ertle is very friendly and nice. And, in general, their service is good. But I, once again, have a critical note about the fact that their multipoint inspec very friendly and nice. And, in general, their service is good. But I, once again, have a critical note about the fact that their multipoint inspection report apparently cannot be trusted! I brought my car in for service on 5/13. All the boxes on the multipoint inspection report were ticked green, indicating "Checked and OK". However, 5 days later, on 5/18, my windscreen washer fluid warning light came on! Incredibly, the very same thing happened in June of last year! Which once again raises my concern about the reliability of the inspection report. Are there other, more vital, points on the report that were NOT, or not thoroughly, checked? This appears to be a consistent problem and I have to seriously ask myself whether I want to continue entrusting Ertle with the care of my car. More
The staff at Ertle Subaru go the extra mile to satisfy their customers—no pun intended. There is one longstanding flaw or issue with the computer system at Ertle and most likely every Subaru dealership. If you purchase the prepaid maintenance package upon buying a vehicle, you must be vigilant about not paying for services for which you are exempt. The computer system does not automatically indicate to employees that a customer mustn’t be charged for a specific transaction. This is a problem that has existed for many years and is still to be resolved. This is an unacceptable situation that must be addressed by policymakers at Subaru America, and should not reflect negatively upon the exceptional performance of the entire staff at Ertle Subaru. More
